The ladies star in Dorothy's school play when her students are quarantined because of a widespread illness. Rose stars as Henny Penny, the chicken that believes "the sky is falling"; Blanche stars as Goosey Loosey; and Dorothy stars as Turkey Lurkey. The play gets rave reviews by the school newspaper, and the producers of the play ultimately succeed in inspiring the students to read. Guest star: George Hearn

That was literally the best of that episode and I'm upset they cut the video before that part.

watching in 2016 lol. I'm at 80s baby. grew up watching this. loved it since day 1. never will there be another golden girls...if they try to do a parallel sitcom anyways. ..it would be hard to compare. 1 OF THE BEST TV SERIES OF ALL TIME

I wonder if this was when Estelle started exhibiting early signs of her illness and memory loss, if her lines were written in that book, you’d never know it, nor ever know she relied on cue cards....she was so talented .

I feel sorry for Dorothy though as the turkey, it's like she's the prize turkey, not a catch like Rose and Blanche and yet she probably the most striking and goddess like of the lot.
I don't know if they did this episode, but I did see on the; I believe the hour long reunion on Lifetime network they did perform some of the episodes for the Queen.
