I'm 72 and have been stuck on a 14 hdcp. for longer than I care to admit. This single plane system is just what I need. I am going to devote the rest of my golfing life to studying this swing! thanks Todd!
This is exactly where I am, at age 53. Taking lessons from Rob Nunn, teaching me the single plane. Definitely striking the ball better. A few big banana slices off the tee...need to fix that.
I'm in Sydney Australia. Playing golf for 35 years. Currently 10 hcp. So many golf instruction on RUclips etc, some good some very confusing. Have recently discovered Todd's one plan swing instruction featuring Moe Norman. Brilliant stuff, I have begun Todd's golf training process. Very exciting.
The drivng range at the local gc opened today for the season, fairways on wednesday!! I haven't stopped smiling since I jumped in my truck to drive home from there today no b.s.!!!! I was finally able to hit off something that resembles grass other than the snow, ice, mud, cardboard, old carpets and pine straw...I now possibly know why Moe barely took a divot. It might have had something to do with the ground conditions here in Canada haha...seemed ridiculously easy today on the range to plant my robot on grass... The hard work I put in at home this last 2 months hitting solid straight balls up to 150 yards carried on threw the rest of the bag at the range today....bigtime... Thank you Todd!!! July 10th is wedge off the tee, driver to the green day!!! I will be practicing for that come wednesday....
Hi Todd I have been working on my grip and setup. Also my takeaway. I really haven’t check my wrist angles. Thanks for this video this will help me complete the back swing. And help me into impact at ball. You and your team are doing a great job. Keep the video coming.
I have been looking for todays info...it clears a lot of questions up. Also I would like a video on what differences might be needed if any in the clubs lie angle, etc. with the single plane swing.
Nice one Todd, can you do a video specifically on position 3 and really break it down sometime? I feel the transition and into position 3 is the hardest part. I’ve heard different things like the butt if the club should be pointing at the ball and it’s just so hard to learn to lag and release from there. At least that’s what I have the most trouble with. Looking forward to the next gold member webinar cheers!
Thanks Todd that illustration of the face plane with lead hand. It’s so Important to hit Quality shots. Can find SP teacher in my Area Waterloo Iowa. Do you have any pros that teach SP within 2 hours of my town? Thanks Todd for all you do for golfers.
James. We have a great online Coaching program where you can send videos to our coaches. Email me a toddg@Gravesgolf.com if you would like some help. Thanks.
Thanks Todd, this is good stuff!! I’ve been working on the single plane over the winter and mastering the positions.. now I’m hitting balls and noticing sometimes the balls hooks and my club face is shut! The grip is interestingly hard to master.. But this video should help!! Thanks
@@ToddGravesGolf Gee, I thought it was just me. I have to drive the tees in with a hammer right now, but working on positions and sequencing. Looking forward to a great year.
Hey Todd thanks for this video. Love it. I’m a Gold member but I still can’t quite grasp what makes the face of the club be perfectly square at impact. For example as you approach the point of impact the face is at 90° to the target, so what makes it be perfectly square just a split second later?
Todd>>> the use of the word "PULL" has cause trouble in the world of golf, wouldn't you say there is an equal pull and an equal push? In fact I don't feel either I
hi todd happy easter to you and staff thanks for getting back that you have used bio mech blue putters for sale can you please pick out a good priceced one and let me know how to pay you thanks carl van milder
Enjoying the vids and your book very much.👍 Have a question about using single length hybrids (3,4 and 5). Should the ball be postioned like a 7 iron shot or further ahead in the stance? Thanks.
Todd, great video. I go practice at lunch about three times a week. A couple of questions. Do you hinge your wrists much? Second, I tend to bring my hands way inside the ball and block left. I've video my swing. Trying to keep the right elbow in and not come over the top. I don't know if it's that or I'm not sliding my front knee into my shoe (I believe you describe it similar to that). Without seeing the video, it would be tough to say. I appreciate the time. GOD Bless!
I do not consciously hinge my hands. I let my trail arm bend in the backswing and the hands hinge naturally. You should send videos in to the Graves Coaches. They will tell you exactly what to do.
@@ToddGravesGolf Thanks for the quick response. I plan on sending something in during the summer after school finishes. All of your stuff is excellent!
It seems like when I pull, it is because I go back to more of a rotational swing rather than the linear swing that is being taught by Todd. With the longer clubs your subconscious may be going for distance and you’re adding that rotational force. Whereas with the irons you may be more concentrated on accuracy. My two cents.

All words cause trouble in the world of golf. Words don't teach they point.
well done for giving FP focus. Are there any forces working on the clubhead to keep it on plane?
Did Moe use a short lead hand thumb and slightly left of middle or exactly the same as you? Thanks in advance

Carl. Email me at toddg@gravesgolf.com and we can work it out. I need to know your shipping address too. Thanks.
Right now, everything is going left for me. How do you keep your lead hand from bowing or rotating during the swing if your grip is good?
jumbo grips

I place it at Iron Ball position for Single Length hybrids.
Hey Todd,
Noticed you are using Cobra irons now. One length or standard? Thanks.

Is the left wrist totally flat at the top or slightly cupped? Slightly cupped feels more natural and flat feels forced.
Just curious, do you also grip the club like Moe Norman?
Of course.
Is this Trackman that’s showing the flight tracer in your videos?
No. My video production team tracks the ball and traces it.
Will you have a sale on your chipping training aid??
Next month. Email me at toddg@gravesgolf.com. Ill get you the sales price now.

Lol. Yes. I like to call them out. They laugh at me (not with me) constantly. Need to get revenge once in awhile.
If you get face plane right you will avoid the face plant.
True.
