I feel like that I don’t need to upgrade to the Nintendo switch 2, because…. 1. There is no confirmation about the games being for different devices. 2. When the new one comes out, there’s bound to be some first time mistakes. 3. I’d have to buy replacement joy cons for the Switch 2.
I get these reasons, but if the mouse rumor is true I’m sold. I’d love a portable way to play games like on PC, and I wouldn’t have to rebuy a bunch of my old games to use on it.

As much as I am looking forward to the Switch 2, I'm getting one next year as no doubt the 10th generation Pokemon games will be released exclusively for that system. With 2026 being Pokemon's 30th anniversary after all. And who knows maybe a price drop.

Sorry but this isn't a good successor or console. And stop it. Legends Z-A is a Switch 1 game only. It is not going to be dual release. There is no Switch 2 version

Gen 10 main series Pokemon
A new 2d Metroid game (follow-up to dread)
