- It was a tough weekend for the Alabama Crimson Tide. First they lose an Iron Bowl for the ages on an illegal substitution penalty, then they learn they've been kicked out of the Playoff Club.

Secondly, speaking as a lifelong Bama fan, I generally don’t pull against SEC teams in bowl games, playoffs, or what have you. I’d rather see any SEC team dominate against those (in my opinion) lesser conferences.

As A DIEHARD Bama fan I laughed and cried at the same time. RDT!!
Man, this has to be so heartbreaking for Alabama fans. Possibly the greatest offense (particularly the receiving corps) in team history, all for naught because of injuries and a leaky defense (bizarre for a Saban squad). I mean, Tua threw up 400 yds and 4 TDs against LSU, and that crazy performance was wasted because that D couldn't stop them at all.
