Whats crazy is that Milroe actually missed a much easier pass and catch, he had a wr open in the endzone going cross the middle. He fortunate Isiah Bond made that catch lol. Was a good throw too.
I saw what you’re saying too, but there’s a couple things that made this pass better. First of all, if you look at the replay, the other receiver Jermaine Burton is actually on his way out of the endzone. He came forward outside the endzone to stay ahead of the defenders. With that said, there’s a chance he catches the ball outside the endzone and gets tackled before crossing the goal line, which in this scenario is no better than an incompletion or an INT. Or worse, Milroe doesn’t realize he’s coming out of the endzone and overthrows him. Second, look at all the defenders behind Burton. We have to remember that Milroe is standing on the 36 yard line when he lets go of the ball. Which means that ball has to travel roughly 36 yards before a receiver can even attempt to catch it. That is PLENTY of time for any one of those multiple defenders to jump the route and pick the ball off, or even just wait until the right time and hit the receiver to prevent a catch. Because of those two things, it actually was better for Milroe to trust his guy to win a one-on-one matchup in the corner.

The look on barners faces was priceless
you should see the look on their faces trying to understand your hillbilly grammar.
I was there with my son-in-law. He's Auburn and I'm Alabama. My first in-person IB.
Gary "Yes a little shove" He clearly missed the 1-2 seconds before Bond pushed off. Dude was holding and grabbing Bond bc he knew he was in bad position. Really should've been a flag on auburn but we had been playing against the refs all night. They were not throwing a flag to help Bama right there
Playing against the refs? Like when they refused to throw a targeting flag against Bama? Or a late hit on the QB against Bama?
Please stfu with that nonsense. Of course the SEC is trying to help Alabama, they are the team that can get 2 SEC schools into the playoffs. What on earth does the SEC have to gain from Auburn upsetting Alabama and getting to 7-5? Nothing.
@@chrism7574 WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Let's forget about the refs ignoring what happened to Bama's punter, or all the other missed calls in that game. Sore loser gonna sore loser.
There were no pass interference penalties all night. The referees were letting them play.
Oh I love it so!
I guess this is revenge for “kick 6”.
Not quite...
