That is their closurer of their set. To see their opener react to "Who is Gonna be the One" (Live, Napalm Records). It showcases the awesome musicianship of the band and why Tatiana is one of the best frontwomen in the business. To see their take on what is going on in Ukraine react to "Homeback". It reflects their experiences as refugees from Eastern Ukraine on the Russian border which has been a war zone for years. (2014?) (subbed)
Thank you for your interest in Jinjer, and thank you very much for your authentic reaction. What I will never understand, that Jinjer is mentioned so often in connection with Nightwish. I've been dealing with music in different genres for 50 years, but I still can't understand it because for me they are completely different bands with a different style of music............. warm greetings from Germany
Keep 'em coming guys! "Cloud Factory official live video", "Retrospection", "Pit of Consciousness live in Kiev", and Tatiana's one take vocal of "Judgement and Punishment"
Funny you should mention Slipknot. Jinjer is going out on tour with them starting March 16, 2022 for a month (20 dates) in the U.S. I would sure like to get Corey Taylors opinion of Jinjer. Pit of Consciousness (Live in Kiev) Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!!!
@@shaunbryan3421 I saw they announced some shows at places they missed in the tour last year, but that was all I saw for U.S. aside from Knotfest. To be fair, I cant be too greedy, I saw them in November and it was awesome.
We all have false vocal chords (vestibular folds)you train yourself to use it instead of using the vocal chords as it would damage them doing the growl.great reaction 👍🏻try "vortex “ next.
I would like to see you react to JINJER - I Speak Astronomy (Official Video) | Napalm Records - ruclips.net/video/KJoPIgg17U4/видео.html I normally prefer live performances, however, this video is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING with astronomical visuals and it adds to the song rather than diminish. If you wanted you could do a double performance music video then live??
Second request, you'll love this: ARCH ENEMY - The Eagle Flies Alone (OFFICIAL VIDEO) -> ruclips.net/video/mjF1rmSV1dM/видео.html And if you want to see another female smoothly transition between harsh and clean vocals: ARCH ENEMY - Handshake With Hell (OFFICIAL VIDEO) -> ruclips.net/video/dsuhfOD7emE/видео.html ^^ this one was just released Premiered Feb 4, 2022 ^^ so very new! I'm loving Arch Enemy w/ Alissa because of her ability to do more than just harsh vocals.
OK guys. You kinda misunderstood a technical term which is understandable, since you are not trained in this field. Everyone has false vocal cords (also called vestibular folds), they are part of our anatomy. The trick is to learn how to use them. Since I also work as a vocal coach, let me give you a hint, a feel of that: try an angry sigh, one that produces that sort of almost grunt-like noise. Do you feel something vibrating high up in your throat, almost at the base of your tongue? Those are the false vocal cords. Of course, using them requires a lot of training and practice, I'm not going to get into the technical details, but basically you need a world champion level air support and breath control, you need to completely open your throat, so your real vocal cords are out of the way. The result is what you hear. She basically uses two separate "engines" to produce the two different kinds of sound. That is how she is able to switch back and forth between them at will. The best analogy I can use is that of a hybrid car: low speeds = electric engine, high speed = internal combustion. And by the way: this technique is perfectly healthy, it will not ruin her voice. There are several things that we look for whenever we try to determine whether a technique is healthy or not. The first sign is that when she goes back to clear singing, you hear no fatigue, no hoarseness, no change in tone and quality. The second one is that you can see no tension in her neck area. With healthy singing nothing above the diaphragm should be tense.
Thank you for clarifying that for us. It was something where we knew the words but 0 of the meaning or science behind it. Our viewers are so damn smart!! Thank you!
@@beardsreact9246 I don't think that as individuals we're on average smarter than you, but there is a lot of diversity here since you have many viewers, so some of us are experts in these fields :) I'm pretty sure that there are quite a few things that you could teach me. I'm glad that I could help.
8:43 amazing how long she is able to keep going without breathing, right? and spot on pitch perfect. and she transitions back to growling just 1 second after that like it is nothing. Can't wait for you to discover Spiritbox as well, they are great too.
1) Ignore idiots being rude in comments - YooToob comment sections can be the absolute cess pit of the internet. LOL 2) The lads compose the music, Tatiana is handed pretty much a finished demo track to which she then composes lyrics, where to sing / scream / growl etc. This is an incredibly difficult skill, which she has mastered imho. Her choices with her cleans having lots of bluesy scoops up to & down from target notes etc giving a very human quality which beautifully balances out the complex, angular, quite cerebral, music the lads tend to compose. She deserves more credit than she gets for her compositional chops! 3) I'm going to recommend "Teacher Teacher" (the OMV rather than a live capture) for y'all to check out next. All the best from a random Jinjer-appreciating sub in Scotland! :)
After seeing jinjer Pisces, the one that blew my mind again was her live performance of who is gonna be the one. I would love to see your reaction to that.
For next one, who is gonna be the one (live) or teacher, teacher. Or vortex. Or words of wisdom. Pit of consciousness. I speak astronomy. Judgment and punishment. Scissors. Hell, any of them.
If ya wanna learn more about how she can do this, check out "the fairy voice mother" reaction to them and she explains it (in ways that go over my head..lol) and the good thing with jinjer is you can do a song from 10 years ago or the most recent album and you will be amazed. I'll suggest "retrospection" OMV.. you get to see her sing some in her native tongue and behind the scenes stuff from touring... and its a banger!!
Yeah, Tatti has an amazing vocal range, but so few people realize the musical mastery that the band has. You both touched on it but never *really* give it credit. Listen To All of them.
Start with “Outlander” that’s the song & performance they are named “ Best Ukrainian Metal Act of 2014” They are just finalizing the band They are one if not the only band, not one original member is in it. Who’s Gonna Be The One Live 2014 Epic and in high regard yes, Ok! Teacher Teacher the “Official Video” it’s a compilation of live performances” best visual video That song is a musical ride! A Must! 😊✌️🎶 PS: in 2010 they considered the band officially completed Vlad (drummer) is the only member classically trained Not on drums though I think piano ect… He also self taught himself like all members Amazing people with amazing gifts Groovy 🕶
Thanks for introducing me to JinJer =) Some other bands around the world you guys should check out are RAMMSTEIN : Paris -Du Hast (OFFICIAL LIVE) Has the best stage show i have seen and i was at Wacken 2013 so was Rammstein. and the best hard rock band around today is BAND-MAID "Thrill" Official Video an all girl group ! Both these bands will be touring in America this year so check them out soon ! Keep the Jinjer coming =) ✌🤘
Pretty much all choices for Jinjer are good, but for the next one I'll throw out 2. Who Is Gonna Be The One Live or Pit of Consciousness Live. Both are great performances. Then for a great music video choice, Home Back.
Re: Screen setup... subject box is WAAAAAAAY too small. I would think the audience (us) would like to see the subject (Jinjer) bigger, maybe a quarter screen size. Just my observation. Great vid guys!
Love the video games teeshirt. I have the same frustration with my video editing software. BTW, if you want to hear a seamless transition between cleans to growls to cleans on a single breath, listen to Floor Jansen sing "Face Your Demons" ruclips.net/video/4sg1SVQ_QvQ/видео.html. the transition is brief and occurs after 4:11.
Hey hey hey, we just put one up last week :p But honestly, Nightwish really helped broaden our horizons. Everything you see in this "lane" going forward is because of the NW army! Thanks for your continued support, and we will have more in the near future
“Retrospection” (Official Video) or “ Pit of Consciousness” (Live in Kiev) would be great songs to react to. They are just fenomenal.
