Limp Bizkit went absolutely hard during their debut album period and before they went mainstream all thanks to MTV and their sophomore album Significant Other and the album after that.
No, significant other is pure limp Bizkit and NOT mainstream. It's just not as heavy as tdby. IF an album is mainstream it is chocolate starfish. And mainstream isn't even the correct term. It's just not the real lb.
@@atom-o-tronic3505 It was though... It was on par with backstreet boys nsync etc. Just for the "white suburban kids" instead of girls. It was like Ken to BSB's Barbie. All that "wiggerish" etc.... Their first one is Pure gold Though... Love it to this day.
@@sideskroll It sounded nothing like a boy band, not even the lyrics so idk wtf you're talking about. Nu metal couldn't be more polar opposite. Really don't know what you guys are smoking
Compare this to Woodstock 99 where not a single person in the first 100 rows was standing still and folding their arms. They had come a loooong way by that time.
You can go to their website and ask them for the footage, however they say that you can only use the footage for the documentary purposes, so you cant upload the full concert on youtube
I saw them on significant other in Biloxi Mississippi im from Mississippi but that was the craziest pit i ever been in if you didn't move you got stomped not from mean people just so many he jumped in b the crowd i grabbed his left ankle kaki pants for 2 seconds fucking awesome!!!
Nah Rap Metal was already a thing in the late eighties/early nineties with Anthrax releasing “I’m the Man” in 1987 and their collaboration with Public Enemy with “Bring Tha Noise” followed by Rage Against the Machine releasing their debut in 1992 as Fred Durst states that he was a huge fan of RATM and is one of the huge influences on Limp Bizkit.
Yeah but it was very popular in the late 90s to early 2000's,a lot of nu metal bands were formed during those years, you have no idea how big the underground nu metal scene is of those years, leterally everyone wanted to make nu metal during those years
I was 10 for this, lol. I love the random modern videos so I can see how lame this really was. Not as lame as lyrics now, and at least it's a band.. but still I'm laughing at the guy in half top corsette
Agree: this was the music a listened to when i knew nothing about music as a preteen. Jazz, Albinoni and Zappa opened up my ears and my brain to Music.
I like a lot this era from them
Nobody. Nobody. Nobody. 🎶
Wow! What a gem! Plz upload more of the concert if you have any 🤩

Yeah. By then they were already "pop rock". Mainstream and such.... Nookie album ruined it (for me). This one was PERFECT.
@@sideskrollwdym pop rock? Just because S.O wasnt raw like 3$ doesnt mean its pop. Its still heavy af
@@ggezlel Heavy? Heavy HOW? At best, AT BEST it was teen alt rock. AT BEST.
I just realized this was at Pink Pop 1997 in the Netherlands lol Man the dutchies were not prepared for Limp Bizkit at the time.
That bass though
Sí,ese greñudito en la guitarra sería considerado poco después como uno de los más originales y menospreciados guitarristas del nu metal .

I’m amazed Marilyn Manson had such an issue with Limp Bizkit. They aren’t totally dissimilar from this era
