- The Cultiuana CT-800 is a foldable LED Bar Grow light with about 800-watts of power. The clear selling point for the CT-800 is the cost. It is considerably less expensive than similar models from other brands. But Value is about more than just Cost!
In this video, I explore Grow Light Value as I run the CT-800 through 6 PAR and ePAR tests. I compare the results to two of the most popular grow lights in this class: The Mars Hydro FC-E8000 and the Spider Farmer SE7000. There are differences in performance and in cost - I will explore how we can determine which has the best “value"!

What diodes are they running in this fixture. I didn’t catch it when you covered this part
I need all the information I can get, because I’m shopping for a new light.
Only saves u 10% of total heat since most leds r 90% efficient. So only 10% of heat comes from driver the rest at the diodes
Been looking for a new light for 4x8 flood trays to grow lettuce etc thinking this price is hard to beat if it was dimmable

May I ask where you have the idea from that a PPFD over 1000 would hurt the plant? Tests from Sanlight are showing different results. And I myself also can't confirm your findings. Maybe I'm overlooking something here.

I'm looking at the new California lightworks vertical spectramax 1000.
I won't buy until i hear some reviews, lol. But they shot me a pretty good offer. Let's just say in between medic grow and mars hydro. Has anyone seen this new C.L. light?. I never cared for their solar series due to their cob makeup. But plants liked em. If they were directly under....

Not to mention, the medic grow used the osram, if I'm saying/ spelling that right. Leds for the red. Hmmm. Might be a good over all. I just don't know, looking for help lol.
Does anyone have a fuxture that you cant separate the driver from the light? Dies it get hot in the tent?

So, here is something that will only affect a small amount of people, but it's still fairly important-
I use a light mover, and would not be able to hang this light as all the points are in the center 😢
At least it looks like it would not hang from my mover correctly
