You could "Vader" him, have something happen to him that requires a mask or helmet with a voice modulator and use a similarly built stunt actor underneath
The enemy of my enemy is my ally. This is meant to misdirect and make us think it’s something only to do with Shin & Baylon. Abaloth is going to attack (maybe using Shin or Babylon’s body) when Ahsoka shows up (reaction to her being a light side avatar) & they’re going to have to work with Thrawn & his army to make sure she doesn’t get to the other Galaxy. This will end with Thrawn in the new Galaxy setting up the movie.
The more I think about it the more likely it seems. Baylan is going to sacrifice Shin maybe? "He was trained as a Jedi. You I trained to be something more!" Also his smile when they talk about the beginning and ending the cycle. When she asks "And the beginning is here?" he does a very creepy smile that looks like he is feeling guilty about her for some reason. "Perhaps, if the old stories are true" as if he can communicate more with this "force being" than he lets on. A body for Abeloth to use.
Also, In the teaser trailer Ahsoka says "Somethings coming, something dark.. I sense it." and in the Official trailer it says near the end "Darkness is coming".
Shin was trained to be an unwitting vessel for Abeloth. Ezra and Sabine will stop the "transfer", only for Sabine to be possessed. Ahsoka will then have to find a way to stop Abeloth while not killing her apprentice... Or something else. Heck, the witches and Thrawn may be running away from a powerful Light side... Or a moral Neutral presence.
I mean the Nightsister Great Mothers are terrified of the Jedi for some reason. Now tens of thousands of years are enough time to maybe not forget your enemies but, surely enough to stop fearing them.
So with the desire to reunite with Ezra Sabina endangers the republic by bringing back Thrawn AND the entire galaxy by possibly unleashing a monstrous entity upon it - genious move!
I’d love to see that, but since everything in this show has been going with the most simplest explanation I don’t think It will be .. open to being wrong cuz I want Abeloth!
I say, “Excellent journalism.” Extensive research, charismatic presentation, plus overall appealing editing & production. I sole suggestion is to introduce six new Star Wars scores, ranging in emotions: Slow tempo Middling ground Fast tempo Set aside hours to discover the best innovative fits, for the headings above, (three per), then implement.
I feel Shin is not 100% on board, with the sort of betrayal of Sabine by her Master, and she clearly doesn't trust Morgan and Thrawn, she's worried about being left behind. Shin thought that she was being trained as a Jedi, but now that Baylan says he trained her to be something more, she may feel like he has been keeping her in the dark, as to what his true intentions are. Thrawn knowing that Baylan was once part of the Jedi order, he considers him flawed the same goes for Shin. I don't know anything about legends, never got into it so I don't have an opinion there, but it will be interesting where this ends up in 2 episodes time. I think shin might do a 180 on Baylan and Sabine could be a catalyst for this, I'm not sure where this feeling comes from, call a gut feeling, maybe it's something else guiding me. Filoni is the master at throwing curve balls so maybe this is one of them. May the force be with you, always.
just a small addendum: it was "Perhaps they *flee a power greater than their own." Not "Perhaps they fear a power greater than their own." I don't think it changes the overall context though.
It very well could be Abeloth as a god entity that has supreme control over the force “ a force of nature if you will” would much more than a “fleeting” power as Baylon said..Would be great to see that in love action!!
You know it’s crazy because what filoni is doing rn, is literally wiping out the entire sequel trilogy. Watching this show makes me think “how can this correlate with the sequels”. It can’t unless they just completely kill off every character in this show. The basis and story of the show makes the sequels seem lesser and non-cano as of rn. They just don’t mix together in the starwars timeline. Especially if abeloth is revealed.
Abeloth can totally be retconned into the Sequel Trilogy as the mastermind behind Palpatine's "re-emergence", making him wreck enough havoc to cause a shift in The Force that would allow her to officially re-emerge once again! 🤣🤣🤣
Unless they change the lore, it's not Abeloth. Peridia is in the Far Galaxy. Abeloth is trapped in the The Maw, or Maw Nebulae, of the Outer Rims near Kessel.
I thought the exact same thing when they talked about a ancient power in a fear far away galaxy with anakin coming back as the final god it would make sense
I think the dark magic issue that Thrawn is talking about could be trying to kill Ahsoka by resurrecting very powerful force users (where to find the bodies is another problem) or they could put Ahsoka in a realm where they show her greatest fears. We also saw a lot of witch corpses they transported to the ship, they could possibly revive hundreds of them and send them against Ahsoka.
Abeloth popping in would be awesome, but more likely it is Sequel Palpatine... As long as the Sequels are enforced, I can't see much hope... but I am seeing it.
Man every new episode we get the more im sad that the actir who played baylan is gone man hes the best character in the show so far thrawns up there butbhe only has like half an episode so far
@mrconfusion87 yes it should be , they should go with a story where abeloth destroys some time lines in the world between worlds and destroys the sequel trilogy going forward
Remember that abeloth was bound to peridia, Because her plan was to cause a galaxy extinction event, so no life would exist. I believe that they are using shinhati as a vessel so that abeloth could leave the planet. He talked about how he trained her to be something more and how he seeks new beginnings And that new beginning i think Ba-Len skul is talking of is to start over from scratch by erasing life from the galaxy.
there is also the possibility ( i hope not), that higher power is Ezra, considering it not possible for anyone to know, what has been going on on that place for 10 years
When Abaloth appeared in Legends, Fate Of The Jedi Only Legends Luke Skywalker was the one able to defeat her and she is not even dead after their confrontations. Boba fett and Tahiri Veila Were able to kill one of her avatars and that was very lucky. But then Legends Boba Fett is the Mandalore. WTF is Baylon going to do if Abaloth is calling him? He can not join her, he cannot reason with her, she will take over his body and cause chaos.
All we know is Thrawn and The Great Mothers are trying to GET THE FVCK OUTTA THIS GALAXY ASAP. Someone like Thrawn would just want to conquer it but clearly there’s a more powerful group or entity in this system and it’s scaring them enough to want to go back to their own galaxy.
I think it's Abeloth, I think they'll all (good and bad) end up running for their lives back to the main galaxy. If it is Abeloth, we might actually get the Bendu helping in season 2.
Remember finale of season 2 Rebels, on the planet Malachor, the ancient Sith temple was actually a battle station that when activated it could destroy all life(?). Maul wanted to use the weapon to take revenge on his enemies. He wanted to destroy the Sith and the Jedi. Could something like that be on this planet too? Baylen also wanted to end the cycle of Light and Dark, he could use a weapon like this to wipe out all the Sith and Jedi. Ezra spoked to a ‘Pressence’ that revealed the function to the temple. Maybe this planet is where the ‘Pressence’ originated?
The stormtroopers definitely seem like they have been fighting something, starvation doesn't destroy armor, and I don't think it is Abeloth. The raiders also don't seem like a big enough threat to cause such damage. That being said Abeloth might still exist on the planet, but if she does I doubt she is the only threat
It makes sense the mortis god died weakening her prison enough for her to call out to people that use the darkside like Sidious and Baylen, also the nightsisters always feared the dark

I hope it's Aboloth so they have an excuse to have Anakin appear to aid Ashoka and flex his own Force God powers. It's all I've ever wanted to see , Anakin use his full power at the peak of his potential.
Perhaps. Perhaps it is the force itself trying to tell you your are going down the wrong path.
This was an especially fine episode. Thank you.
Even if she shows up, I hope Abeloth becomes the main villain for the New Jedi Order film. The Ahsoka show can set it up like it’s doing with Thrawn for the Heir to the Empire movie.
Characters even keep repeating word "legends", so Abeloth is likely to appear in Ahsoka.
Shin might be the missing piece of connecting with the Abeloth, Shin has similar facial characteristics to some drawings of Abeloth.
And it might be deliberately so for a reason. Star Wars is not above doing some hamfisted foreshadowing (remember one of the teaser posters for The Phantom Menace with young Anakin standing in the desert casting a Vader-shaped shadow?) after all! 🤣🤣🤣
I hope this comes to pass a Lovecraftian presence especially when spooky month is right around the corner.
All of the temples circles and map glyphs and use of brass/gold orbs scream Zeffo. As well as the helmets that some of the nomads were wearing. I wouldn't be surprised if the 'caskets' are zeffo remains, or artifacts, rather than night sisters remains.
It does make me wonder, if Kanan told Ezra any of these stories. He certainly had enough time to.
I hope its Abeloth. Star Wars needs that type of threat right now. Of course, not everyone was thrilled about Palpatine's return. Thrawn is not at that level. The casual fan might find it confusing at first but they could catch people up in time for the movie(s).
The Sequel Trilogy could have been saved if they made Palpatine/Snoke merely her avatars or puppets!
I want Darth Krayt and the one Sith to return. It would be insane, just change a couple details and he fits in perfectly.
It can't be baylan wants to break the wheel not serve another dark/light conflict.
@@summersoldier1003I think Krayt returning would be perfect. His story fits in with canon fine, just make it that the grysk captured him instead of the vong.
@@DM5550Z I agree it would be awesome if Baylan hadn't stated he isn't interested in the sith or jedi being on top he wants or has a permanent solution
@@summersoldier1003 Yeah if Krayt got recanonized it would be cool if he called other order 66 survivors to korriban and turned them to dark side. Would be epic to see Sith baylan and other Jedi survivors, maybe darth wyyrlok too.
@@DM5550Z Don't lie to me. You just wanna see live action darth talon.
Baylan's arc may play out different. Since Ray's passing it will effect whatever the original plan for the character was. I hate to think that but we'll see. If Baylan survives through the last episode ill be bummed, cause Ray can't be replaced, and to write him out or recast would really kill my enthusiasm for His a Shin's story.
You could "Vader" him, have something happen to him that requires a mask or helmet with a voice modulator and use a similarly built stunt actor underneath
@@moonshapedabsolution hadn't thought of that. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how the season plays out.
Baylan has trained Shin to be much more. I reckon she will be Abeloth's new body.
The enemy of my enemy is my ally. This is meant to misdirect and make us think it’s something only to do with Shin & Baylon.
Abaloth is going to attack (maybe using Shin or Babylon’s body) when Ahsoka shows up (reaction to her being a light side avatar)
& they’re going to have to work with Thrawn & his army to make sure she doesn’t get to the other Galaxy. This will end with Thrawn in the new Galaxy setting up the movie.
possibly, but abeloth will be too ''dark'' for the disney's children audience, so no.
@@takkie4064 As long as she doesn’t use any bad words lol
The more I think about it the more likely it seems. Baylan is going to sacrifice Shin maybe? "He was trained as a Jedi. You I trained to be something more!"
Also his smile when they talk about the beginning and ending the cycle.
Knowing how disney has dissapinted me in the past the "pressence" is probably just Ezra or the night sisters wanting a ride home.
I say, “Excellent journalism.” Extensive research, charismatic presentation, plus overall appealing editing & production.
I sole suggestion is to introduce six new Star Wars scores, ranging in emotions:
Slow tempo
Middling ground
Fast tempo
Set aside hours to discover the best innovative fits, for the headings above, (three per), then implement.
I honestly hope that Abeloth gets brought into Cannon. That would be amazing and add some more depth to Star Wars.
just a small addendum:
it was "Perhaps they *flee a power greater than their own."
Not "Perhaps they fear a power greater than their own."
I don't think it changes the overall context though.
Diseny would never allow horror into Star Wars
We also saw a lot of witch corpses they transported to the ship, they could possibly revive hundreds of them and send them against Ahsoka.
it's like orochimaru😂
Abeloth popping in would be awesome, but more likely it is Sequel Palpatine...
As long as the Sequels are enforced, I can't see much hope... but I am seeing it.
"But it was so artistically done."
Man every new episode we get the more im sad that the actir who played baylan is gone man hes the best character in the show so far thrawns up there butbhe only has like half an episode so far
She looks like a creepypasta character
what kinda sucks is they have tj set up the sequels, i woulda preferred if they made these shows first
Now in episode 7, Balen sends Shin off to find her place in the new empire, while he goes to explore on his own
this is some 40k stuff here. I am loving it
If its abloth the need to do a movie
It should have been the sequel trilogy!
He talked about how he trained her to be something more and how he seeks new beginnings And that new beginning i think Ba-Len skul is talking of is to start over from scratch by erasing life from the galaxy.
there is also the possibility ( i hope not), that higher power is Ezra, considering it not possible for anyone to know, what has been going on on that place for 10 years
Dave Filoni is thinking right now, "Damn I wish I thought of that."
Shin hati becomes possessed by Abeloth, and for Ahsoka to counter her, the full potential Anakin takes control of her body!
It damn well better not be Palpatine doing his Snoke stuff.
Thrawn looks like blue Data from Star Trek.
This would be jumping the shark if they introduced ABELOTH this early.
It's Either the Mother or The World Between worlds. (the gateway to the world between worlds is on the Chimera)
I was also thinking about abeloth!
You're reaching here. It won't be Abeloth or the Bendu. Disney Star Wars isn't smart enough to do this series justice by pulling such a great villian from Legends.
The Vong is in the right time frame: legends.
OK, now I'm really hoping Abeloth is what is calling to Baylan. This would be completely amazing.
Abeloth would be a Thanos level force in the star wars universe. Aside from Luke I don't think anybody could stop her. That being said I doubt it, unfortunately.
i dont doubt it, i know for sure it wont be her, come this is disney we're talking about.
It wont go the Abeloth way, but this would be a cool story. Loved the books
