  • I decided to give the Dr. Colorchip System.a try on a fairly heavy Paint gouge. It didn't do half bad, all things considered. This is an Unpaid test.

Another great video B I'm going to order it & try it out myself I wasn't happy with the dealer kit. I had about the same Results as you did with your dealer kit. This stuff looks like it will have better results.

Wow. Thank you for the Doctor Chip video. I have seen their ads and wondered the same as you. I will give it a try. Did a great job on your Hellcat. Great video! Thanks B!

Your ceiling light acts like a PDR shop. Really shows that small doink you got too.

I also have a Redline Red, and scraped the front bumper when I took it off (SMH). Been looking for ways to fix it without having the entire front bumper redone, and this helps .

In my experience. These are better for small chips and not so much for scratches unfortunately
Still far easier to use and correct vs a dealer kit. The real star is the sealact solution. It's like a magic eraser
Thank you for the real world diy.

Sorry but I'm not seeing that it is worth all that effort. You put it on but are taking it right back off.

I have an unrelated question. How can I tell if I have an hp70 or hp75 transmission in my eight speed 2016 ram 1500. I would love for you to educate us on this topic (differences, costs, reliability, which vehicle configurations get which) or direct me to the video that does if it's out there. I apologize for being so far off topic

Only the DT Ram trucks received the HP 75. It has a more aggressive first and second gear and longer legs in 7th and 8th gears. It's got a little bit higher torque capacity than the HP 70

I tried this stuff a million times, you really can't touch the sealact to your repair or it pulls it out in my experience, I try to stay on the edges and barely touch the repair area to level

Think the best methos is the old school. Wet sand to level and clean. Then fill with fail to cover. Then fill with clear but leave a slight raised mound. Then level again with sand paper. Then polish. This have lroven to be the most effective way to hide chips. If you donit very carefully, you can get it to 95%

I wonder if yoi can wet sand that paint a month later to level it
