while previously in the United States on a C1D VISA, I flew from Florida to Ohio. I stayed with a friend there for three weeks, then flew to Florida again, to fly from Florida to Brazil. I entered and departed the country legally. no problems. this was in November of 2022. now I want a student VISA. my question is, will the consulate interview agent know about my flights inside the United States? my fear is that I will be denied a VISA, because of having a friend there. I’m legitimately trying to become a student. I prefer not to mention my time in Ohio.

Hii, i have h4 visa.. never travelled to US. i wanted to convert to F1. I have my F1 interview on 25th Jan 2023 according to 221g issued on 23rd Dec 2022. But my orientation is on 12th Jan 2023. I have sent a request mail to the University for a late join date but, they did not accept. I have sent request mail to chennai US embassy to pre-pone interview date also forwarded the reply mail sent by University. They replied saying that I can attend 19th Jan. Now what am I supposed to do? Can I still attend the interview with the same i20? Bcz if I don't attend the orientation I can study in this spring semester. I can only defer to next semester. I didn't take SAT, GMAT because my school did not request of it so who do I answer if asked
alright, but i do have one questions and it is a serious concern for me. i have two accents, an american accent which is something i am comfortable taking in, and a pakistani accent which i can talk in but not comfortably (in other words, i do stutter a lot with my pakistani accent and use sentence fillers like um). my question is, can i use an accent that is different to others or is it better if i can blend in with others and use the same accent as others?

I got realised that I missed a memo after getting my original transcripts from jntu... Not just documents. You should show home ties in the interview. But a land in your parents' name or a job waiting for you after studies can show home ties.
I applied to 5 universities and only got 1 admission. Should I tell them the truth, or should I lie that I applied to only 1 university since it's a little embarrassing to get rejected from 4 and get admitted from only one?
I applied to 5 universities and got acceptance letter from (not exactly 5) from 4universities but filled up admission through online to only one (name)..dont say you were rejected from 4🤯

Hi Yash, I have received only 1 admit out of 8 universities that I applied to. Will this be a red flag to the visa officer? Should I tell the truth to the officer if he/she asks "How many Universities have I applied to" or can I manipulate this? For example:- Instead of saying I applied to 8 unis, can I say i applied to 4 unis and I received 1 admit. Will the officer know about how many unis I applied to? Thank you.
The officer knows everything. DO NOT LIE
They cannot check all the colleges for your application. So hide the truth, don't lie.

Things like husband or wife, kids, a well paying job that’s ready to employ you when you’re back, lands, houses. Basically things back home that will make you come back.
If you’re single, no kids, no job, properties etc, you’re most likely not going to come back to your home country because there’s nothing tiring you back here
