So my question is, as a Visa Officer, do you know if the person you are interviewing has previously been denied a USCIS petition to travel to the US? And does that affect the interview?

Unfortunately in my first visa interview I was denied on 27th June 2024 under section 214b. I really wish to study in the United States. So I had to respect embassy' decision. I do my best to do better than I did in the past. I am trying to reapply, but when I want to schedule my appointment, there is no slots open in 2024. Directly open July 2025. I don't know what should I do!

My interview appointment got canceled because, I renewed my passport at Abu Dhabi so i though for Issuing Authority put United arab Emirates, but luckily after sending customer care proofs/IDs it was resolved after 3days. However on my DS-160 i did the same but i cannot edit my DS-160 already since i resched my appointment and I cant afford to reschedule it since im gonna be taking my exam on October at US. Is this going to affect the status of my visa application? Thank you very much!

The usa visa in nigeria 🇳🇬 is very very poor I said the truth gave all the points a little context I graduated with a 4.0 cgpa top of my class I also can fund my studies I got my degree from UK 🇬🇧 and I still had a scholarship of 50% but was still denied yesterday really sad

You should be able to submit a new DS-160 form and update the Application ID number used to schedule your appointment.
