@Yash Mittra-YMGrad I am regretting now why I have to watch this Video after my U.S Visa has been disproved because I mentioned that my Brother in the U.S is a green card Holder(American citizen) Base on the DV Program he won🙊😅 Therefore, I fall under Section 214(b). Hash, Please I need your help. I was told if I choose to reapply, I should be prepared to provide information that was not presented in my original application, or to demonstrate that my circumstances have changed since that application. Please how can I go about that?
i got a rejection at my first F1 Visa attempt. On my DS-160, I stated NO where it was asked if had travelled out of my home country in the last 5years. However, during my interview, I was asked if this is my first time of leaving my country and I said YES. I answered "Yes", because I travel to South Africa in 2014 which is more that 5years and I gave the date of my travel to the VO with the reasons for my visit to SA. Could this be the reason I was rejected because the VO asked the particular questions twice.

Honestly, they should change this 214(b) rejection. Take my case. I did my first Masters there. Even though I have flying colored grades, it did not help me in getting OPT. Why people go to other countries for study? To get a better job. Then??? Y in the law dictionary of visa interview, this is not acceptable??? People especially from India, where middle class people, they are spending their hard earned money, saved for the future security, they are investing of studies... It's like killing someone after they got their dollars bank filled then saying that, they are working... They will not give job. Exactly 💯, Even though the University accepts us by looting hundreds of dollars including Application fee , VISA fee and SEWIS fee , in many cases, VISA officer just deny the dream of the student within seconds. This is so injustice ( honestly speaking ). If we are not applicable for the Education in US , why will the University accept us and why not the VISA officer ? If the University has no problem with our profile , why VISA officer bother about it by asking cgpa , Backlogs and GRE score ? If the student really want to study and get a job in US , why should the student willfully lie about it ? Then why will they give H1 VISA for all the liars who said in their past F1 interview that "They will return to back to India after their masters " ?

Also, on my DS 160 form I made a mistake with the School city address: It's supposed to be Warrensburg but I imputed Lees Summit. How do you think is the best way to defend this?
Hello, My F1 visa has been refused twice, last time the visa offer asked about changes in my circumstance but i have applied with the same profile. She asked only two questions about my university and my sponsor. My sponsor is my maternal uncle and my institute is a private and expensive institute and don't ask any question about my ties. But my ties are very strong because i am government permanent employee and also i am married and when i will leave for the study i will get my regular salary also because i have more then 7 year service. But still i dont have any clear idea about the refusal. please some one guide.
Q1: How did you exactly answer the question? Q2: What do you mean by same profile? Is it the same University and degree? Q3: You have to understand that " sponsor" can be confusing. Is it a visa sponsor or is it a sponsor who will finance your studies which is your maternal uncle? You can't wait for visa officers to ask you follow-up questions. you need to be proactive and not wait for them to ask you. Prove them your ties. Don't keep answers too short. These are common mistakes. Example my visa sponsor is_______. But if you are talking about who will sponsor me to fund my studies it is my _______________________. (Here, you are proactive. You are not waiting to be asked a question because chances are, if you are asked the 2nd question, it actually means that the visa officer is actually giving you the chance for the last time to speak up and prove yourself that you have strong ties at home) If you answered short and not follow up supporting details to your answer, you already lost it. they will no longer ask another question. Best of luck. get back to me for Q1 and Q2.
I just got 214 (b) the consulate don't give me reason instead handing over the letter. 😭 Do I still have chance to apply different visa like fiance visa or anything else since student visa doesn't work with a friend in the United States becomes the sponsorship 😭
Great video! Just subscribed to your channel dear! What if no questions are asked that prove you are not intending to migrate. I was handed 214b without any detailed questions related to funding or my future plans. In a minute I was handed 214b. My dreams are shattered now. I did not intend to migrate as I have a job offer after masters in India and my parents are retired. How can a minute's interview derail my plans considering am in touch with University officials and faculty of my field?!

Do we need to submit invitation letter upfront to consulate while visa interview? Bcoz in my case I had one from my client company in US but didn’t forwarded to consulate at the time of interview.. I got same 214-b. Can plz tell me need to submit upfront or only when consulate ask for that?

Hello Yash, the video is very helpful. I got rejected last time now I am reappearing for the Interview again. Last time in my interview i fumbled little bit. I think that was the issue.
My visa application was put on administrative processing hold 221g on 19th December 2021. I received an update today but my passport is expiring on 31st December 2022, and I have received the request to submit my passport to the US consulate in Hyderabad, India, today. May I proceed with the existing passport or apply for a new one and then submit it along with the old passport? Looking forward to hearing from you
You only need to submit the documents that they required you which is the new passport. You are given a 221g because your passport is expiring. The new passport is the document that they need from you. submit it to them. You don't need to apply for a new application and pay a new visa fee. You have 1 year from the time you applied for your visa to submit it. Always check your passport. It has to be 6 months valid or at best, 7 months so you can travel. Best of luck.
They rejected me today in regard to 214b law . But they didn’t ask anything anything awkward witch I wasn’t able to give answer them they ask just study course who will pay you and the name of university not even the single question more than this even I had my job letter my experience letter with I was waiting to ask me and I will provide them but they didn’t they just gave me red Flag I m totally in stress now and deadly hopeless plzzz anyone suggest me what mistake that I have done and what I can do for next plz

If you are not happy with the quality of education or you cannot afford to stay, then transferring to a different university with lower COA may be a good option. It's a personal decision after all.
Really informative video! Thank you! Does not having a GRE score pose more chances of rejection? I have secured my admit without a gre since it was waived off. But I'm worried that if they ask about gre in the interview and I say no, it may pose chances of rejection. So is GRE needed for visa?
Yes dear. I was denied My U.S F-1 Visa today because I mentioned that my brother is a green card holder in the U.S and that falls under Section 214(b) therefore, I advice that you don’t mention that! Best of Luck 🤞
You have to apply again with new DS 160 but you have to mention you have been rejected previously, when filling yes or no question answer on DS 160. It is mandatory. And you have to pay visa appointment fee again. And they will have your details of previous rejection but you can update about yourself before appearing the next interview. All the best
Hi! I was hired as a pre-school teacher in Northern Mariana Islands and my working permit has been approved by the USCIS however, I got denied at the embassy when I applied for a visa last week. My denial is under 214B according to the paper that they gave me. I actually don’t know what went wrong since I only answered 2 personal questions from the consul and he already made his decision of denying my application. I actually thought I had a big chance to be approved since I worked in Europe before and my work in the Philippines is related to the job that I was supposed to have in Northern Mariana Islands. Can you please give me some tips on how what to improve or change if ever I will re apply?
@@melissajanebillones2338 First question was “Where are you going?” so I answered “In Northern Mariana Islands if ever” and the second was “What’s your job here?” and I responded “I’m an ESL teacher”
Hi Luna. Possible reasons for the denial. Too short answers and responses. The most common mistake of people during visa interviews is keeping the answer too short, or not supporting their answers at all. You have to answer in a short way but with supporting details. For example, Q1: I am going to the Northern Mariana Islands to work as a Teacher. This opportunity fits me because I will use the experience and skills that I will be gaining from this experience when I go back to the Philippines after the duration of my visa. Q2: I work as an ESL teacher for ___yrs and I am earning 30k (for example) /per month. I decided to take a leap in my career in the USA temporarily to further and advance my skills in a different perspective (the American way,w/c is more advanced and is not offered here in my country (for example) if it is the case. ) So yo see. The answers are short but it has supporting details as to why you want to be in the USA. You have also demonstrated your ties to go home to the Philippines because you have a work waiting for you and that you will only stay in the USA to advance your skills and experience. Best of luck.
@@melissajanebillones2338 Hi there, rightly pointed out. If you don't mind I have one question as well. I also got accepted to university of utah and they also offered a scholarship, however I didn't receive an I20 from them till now. I have not filled my Ds160 till now.

Hi Mr. Yash, am Sophia I was denied my C1D visa under 214b may you help me out I want to reapply again.

Nice video thanks for the information. What if we have our siblings in USA.. And still do not mention them.? How they are supposed to know about our blood relatives?
If my uncle (mother's cousin) is giving me the affidavit of support who lives in US already, so shall I mention his name in DS160 form? As per your suggestion he is not my closest relative so can you advise here?

My brother is working in the US on a H1b visa. Will they reject my F1 because my brother did not return to India after studies? Will they count me as a non returning brother too?? Im shit scared
Please if you are going for toefl ibt in USA before fpgee exam approval.can you tell the interviewer about this?
Hello Yash, the video is very helpful. I got rejected last time now I am reappearing for the Interview again. Last time in my interview i fumbled little bit. I think that was the issue.
How was it this time?

Hi there I have a aunt living in USA and she filed a petition on behalf of my mother should say i have a relative in USA or not
Two times I got 214b slip. I feel it is due to loan letter which I showed as a financial proof. Planning to show liquid funds in the next attempt. Can you help me out? Any other way to contact you directly?
Please take a look at my services:

Hi Bro! Did you figure out what exactly was the reason? Why can't you show loan sanction letter as financial proof?
Can I mention my aunt as a relative if I'm planning to stay with her until I finish my college?
Since you r non immigrant visa applicant, the officer will be sure that you are going to stay in US this leads to 100% rejection.
Hello I'm applying f1 visa. My first interview was reject can you help mi..what is the best way. Sir..
If an applicant have 5 visa refusals from Canada, he have to mention it in ds 160????
is there a chance that my H1b visa get rejected due to 214b because i am unmarried ?
Hi sir , please I need your your advice also help from you. I was denied under 214b . Actually Sir , I really have problem with the consular . I have all my strong documents with me to prove but the consular didn’t even ask for them. What can I do ,right now I’m confused 🤷♂️
Same thing happened to me ,when can we re apply?
Hi Yash is it safe to go with same Uni or change Uni which has less coa? please reply

Best of Luck 🤞

after rejection can we able to apply for a new ds160? or do they have our old ds160?
Can you please give me some tips on how what to improve or change if ever I will re apply?
first question, what was the 2 question and how did you exactly respond to them? I know the feeling of both who got approved and denied 🙂
For example,
Q1: I am going to the Northern Mariana Islands to work as a Teacher. This opportunity fits me because I will use the experience and skills that I will be gaining from this experience when I go back to the Philippines after the duration of my visa.
Q2: I work as an ESL teacher for ___yrs and I am earning 30k (for example) /per month. I decided to take a leap in my career in the USA temporarily to further and advance my skills in a different perspective (the American way,w/c is more advanced and is not offered here in my country (for example) if it is the case. )
So yo see. The answers are short but it has supporting details as to why you want to be in the USA. You have also demonstrated your ties to go home to the Philippines because you have a work waiting for you and that you will only stay in the USA to advance your skills and experience.
Best of luck.
