This is the battle of the two of best value camera phones from cameras to processor. Google's Pixel 6a with tensor chip and Samsung S21 Fan edition boasting snapdragon 888.
Today, we're doing a camera comparison of both phone, both also has flagship camera's but more affordable.
Google Pixel 6a has the sensor from last generation's Pixel 5 while Samsung S21 Fan edition is has the sensors from the previous Samsung S21. Both are being sold for a really good pruce today.

I've seen other videos on the 6a which shows a night mode that makes the night vision much better.. it didn't look like the night shots on your video. Did you use that setting and I missed it or did you not use that setting? The biggest let down on the 6a is the mic. Can you use an adaptor to use a lavalier mic like you can on the 6 pro?

when open the camera, no one hears a buzzing or interference noise coming out of the top speaker? (if hold it close to the ear, and do it in a very quiet place, it sounds better) this noise stops when the camera is closed, or when the selfie camera is put on, it happens in any application that uses the camera.
I tried lowering the volume, putting on do not disturb mode, removing permissions from the microphones and it doesn't go away.

Since manual or pro mode is not available in pixel 6a can we control the shutter speed through third party apps in play store?

Writing this on my Pixel 6a while my S21 FE (SD888) lies at home waiting to be sold. Even though images of both phones can be similar good, the ones from the P6a have way more life in it and often look more realistic. A thing that bareley gets talked about is the shutter lag of the S21 FE. Even after taking the photo, you have to stand still for ~1sec or the image gets blurred -> even in good light. Pretty annoying. No problems with the Pixel here. If you like filming loud events like concerts - the Samsung mics are better for this.
Yep. I feel like most of the youtubers don't talk about the shutter lag. Or even if they do, they just mention it in passing. This is a serious drawback for the camera system which exists even in the S22 ultra.
And it's Exynos for India
Is the shutter lag coming from Exynos variant? I have some people asking what the difference is between SD and Exynos. On my side by side, I didn't really notice that.
Llevas razón. Con el S21 FE, he sacado muchas fotos desenfocadas, por culpa de la lentitud de su obturador. Todos los Samsung son iguales. El Píxel saca mejores fotos, con más detalles, mejores colores y mejor enfocadas. Pero el verdadero competidor para el S21 FE, es el Píxel 6. Y éste ganaría en todo, menos en zoom. Aún así, también prefiero el Píxel 6a, ante el S21 FE. Los he tenido los 3. Ahora mismo, tengo el Píxel 6. Saludos

yes, 👍 the front camera 4k in s21 fe is a little shaky, but if we stoop down to 1080p, both looks the same. still 4k is better than nothing 😉😉

I own a s21 fe and let me tell you that this is a camera beast but from my opinion the pixel pictures are better looking , the thing i like in pixel's picture is their natural look and wamer tone which gives a cinematic look to photo whereas samsung captures poppy images which i personally do not like

I love my Samsung s21 fe too much to switch to Google, but Google phones have some cool and nice features. If Google can improve their video quality and improve the gorilla glass,battery, and a few other things, I'd switch to a Pixel. I'm waiting for the s23 FE if there will ever be one.

Agree, Samsung S21 FE is a little expensive compare to 6a.
So in MKBHD's comparison, Pixel 6a is the overall winner of best smartphone camera 2022, but S21 fe is better? Wutt. Shame mkbhd didn't include s21 fe in the comparisons.

Nope. I'm using it everyday. Well...... I kinda think of it, I'm not using it for heavy games coz I know there was an issue with Tensor Gen 1. Lets hope other can share their expetience. I got three beater phone for gaming so I never really tested this phone.
