High Anna! Some of my old neighborhood. I lived in that area for a few years. Some beautiful areas, great fishing. I almost hit a moose on Route 25 between Meredith and Center Harbor one icey morning. It was terrifying. Black ice, come around a bend and there it was. I used to cross country ski in the woods by Squam Lake, between routes 3 and what is now 258, but used to by 25A. I had cross country skis and snowshoes here in Iowa but there was never enough snow and time. After getting two feet of snow just a couple weeks later there is barely enough snow for the dog to eat. Dog and I got 2.9 miles today. Then I got the compost piles turned and the grape vine pruned.
Hey Phil, I don’t think Anna pays much attention to the comments. I do know she much prefers nice hotels over my desire to camp so we do both. If she’s happy then I’m going to be happier. No snow below NH but the Mountains have plenty.
