The hollywood titanverse version of Godzilla isn't immortal. Just like Kong and Mothra, he's a descendant of past Godzillas. They specifically mention in Godzilla VS Kong how the ancestors of both Godzilla and Kong were engaged in an ancient rivalry. I mean, Kong's axe clearly has a Godzilla spike embedded in it. Of course, the way they speak about the titans, they use the singular name for all the members of a particular titan species, making it really confusing. The MUTO, Kongs, and Mothra all reproduce like animals in one way or another, so it's reasonable to assume Godzilla does as well. Ghidorah is alien, so who knows if/how it reproduces. I'm sorry for being pedantic, but as long as we're dissecting the pseudoscience of a fictional movie franchise, we may as well get the facts straight.
