I doubt it they changed a few up in eptu anyone use to the old way will be relearning too so for most it will be hard to tell the new people and guide them through it

I bought the F7C Hornet when my friend got me into the game. I very much prefer the mercenary contract work and I work as an escort for my friends during salvage operations. Can't wait to see new military ships. tbh when still learning I instantly gravitated to the Javelin and Kraken when looking at the ships on the home page as I love strategic play which a battleship like the javelin and an ship carrier like the javelin would be.

You can buy All the ships with IN GAME MONEY.. so dont be spending like you need to because you dont. Be warned the BIG ships will be getting an overhaul at some point so flying solo will be a massive pain in the bottom.. so keep that in mind!. o7

It's fairly standard for me to stay away from the game during things like fleet week and alien week due to server performance issues, but I will be making an appearance to go check out the idris interior.
Because they will likely have no new actually ready ships to sell. So far it's the mirai mobility scooter, another ursa variant, and a ship not ready for flight.

Hello Farrister!! About the only thing I am looking forward to is the Idris Tour, and of course not missing the odd surprise announcement or ship release that accompanies these events. What I am NOT looking forward to is the inevitable chaos that a Free Fly brings with it.
I’m so excited to avoid the area because of how it destroys server response time! I’ll have to come by to see the idris though. Plus I just got a new PC so maybe I can handle it this year. Doing this on my old PC at 5fps was not enjoyable
This years Invictus will be the 1st ive ever really paid any attention to, im in the process of finishing my ''Liberator/Railen chains'' and quite fancy getting a couple of Pulse tokens also. As for the event, i much prefer to watch content from the likes of yourself, its always ample to clear up any concerns or queries i might still have, and your commentary is always on the pulse and informative. As a rule, not generally interested in ships i dont own, yet with the imminent arrival of the IDRIS, even im excited for those that own one, it'll be well worth the wait. Good times

In one of the Orgs wich im, we are almost more then 1800 players, but other than this the real reason is that i want to start my Org with my friends from rl army. One of the big problems of SC is that you can shoot at the head of your pilot anytime: have you saw Chewbecca that shoot at Ian Solo head before to make explode the Death Star? This is the next step big SC peoblem to fix: to have an org where you can fly a capital ships and do Org operations mean you must know good each single member of your crew and trust they. I found this solution so, in future, we will be able really to act as a disciplined crew in an SC ship… this need to have access to Capital ships. Because all that reasons, after the Javelin, the next step will be the Idris.

I'd prefer to stay away from the verse that week; not long ago suffered from a 30K game crash that pulverized lots of aUEC in cargo and which, according to the "Game Specialists" won't be recovered. So now I'm recovering from that... I'd wait until the end of the week and you post your tour of the Idris.
I think you should log in and just experience the event. It's special content that's only available to you for a week or so, and it rotates per the schedule. Make an event out of it, go to Area18 and just look around at the ships while you put your money making activities on hold if you're worried about crashes. Soak in the atmosphere. :)
I always stop playing when they put on these events. Until the day comes they actually anticipate overloaded servers and spool up more to handle it I wont be changing my position. I refuse to deal with the hassle of crashes and crap server performance because they do NOTHING to work around it! I find it ironic they are so ignorant as to use these events to try and attract new players, when it always ends up being the most horrible game experience you can have! I am quite content living the event through the eyes of you and other streamers and then experiencing the new features once the main event is over and all the rubber neckers have concluded the game is trash because of the lag and crashes and leave!
I believe they do this to attract the maximum amount of people just so that they can flex and brag about how many people or line they don’t even care about the game and experience. Just how many people are in the universe.

performance was a lil bit touch and go in PTU Invictus. Planning on heading back to rent everything that looks pretty and shiny.
