Hello. Extension lines usually have 1-2 mm visible gap from an object line or centerlines and extend 2-3 mm beyond dimension line.

While dimension lines are atleast twice the height of font size or dim number.

Depende po kc sa placement ng dimensions. Just follow the rules and good practices of the 3 elements: extension lines, dimension lines and dimension number, and you will never be lost.
