    Say what you will about this kid, but I bet you his teammates love playing with him because he gets everyone involved and makes the smart basketball play. Sometimes that can be a huge asset to a struggling team. A great pillar for team chemistry in my opinion

    Everyone is a hater on youtube. He is in 9th grade. By the time he is a senior he will have honed his game, if he has a good coach. Then college where he will learn even more. If this were your kid all of you'd be post'n this on youtube left, right and center. Don't hate just because you got cut from your freshman team.

    • @ESPONET

      Is he a re-class? I think he is. That makes him older then his already poor competition. He is not that big. There are bus stops full of 5'9" point guards in every major city in the USA. Maybe he can play division 2 or 3.

    Mannnnn this kid gonna be really good. Hes grown allot since he was young. I might take him over Damon Harge

    • @daycantave
      @daycantave 9 лет назад +2

      you crazy if you pick him over damon harge damon will eat him alive because of his athleticism and shooting

    • @drewadams3798
      @drewadams3798 9 лет назад

      Hell yeah I'd take him over the Damon kid any day. Idk the Damon kid looks like he's barely in control of himself most the time. This kids handles are WAY better...he sees the floor better than Damon...the kid is just a playmaker man. Hands down take this kid.

    • @daycantave
      @daycantave 9 лет назад

      your right this kid is a play maker but when was the last time you saw one of damons workouts he literally sees everything on the floor and his p and roll game is way better (a crucial part of high level basketball) and yes it looks like damon has no control over his body but he does and that is why hard to lock up on him

    • @drewadams3798
      @drewadams3798 9 лет назад

      Yeah so I had only seen this video of this kid and had seen 2 of Damon when I made that last comment. Went back and watched a little more on both and Damon is a lot better than I originally thought lol idk who I'd take now honestly. They'd both make killer pg's

    • @aida35111
      @aida35111 9 лет назад

      Jordan McCabe is more of a pg then Damon Harge is, but Damon is simply much better cause of his athleticism, shooting ability and I'd even take Damon more because of his speed.

      Like Andrew Wiggins and abunch of other players....their moms held them back. Unless of course they're legitimately dumb in school.
      When ur a kid their a huge difference in a 14 and 16 yr old when it comes to sports and ur abilities/maturity. Some parents hold their kids back deliberately for this reason. But once u get to college all bets are off. The playing field is much more equal when it comes to maturity. I

      Let me explain how to use the word “your,” which is not a contraction for “you
      are.” Saying “Your grammar is not good” is how to use the word
      “your.” Saying “Your teaching me grammar lessons that I did not ask for”
      is not correct. You should say “You're teaching me grammar that I did not ask
      for but I should appreciate it.” “You're” is a contraction for “you are.”
      “Your” is usually followed by a noun as in “Your grammar book needs to be
      reopened so that way you're less likely to look like an idiot on your internet
      postings...or anywhere else.”

      What are you talking about "white kids" are generally known to play better fundamental basketball than black kids. When you think of a "true" point guard a majority of them are white (John Stockton, Jason Kidd, Steve Nash). Black players tend to rely more on their natural athleticism while with white players fundamentals like passing and shooting are more important.

    When people post titles like this it's always over hyped. Some factors that the poster has to realize.
    1. Most teams in the AAU circuit are not great teams. Only those teams that get major sponsorship's from Nike ect.... are going to have allot of talent. Usually, those teams are able to get real good athletes from another state to join their team of "elite" if you will, athletes. CONSIDER THE COMPETITION. It's easy to look good against scrubs.
    2. Kids develop at different ages. I have seen kids that are ranked high in their class in 8th, 9th grade and they never grow in size, while other kids around them do and by the time they are in 11 grade he is not even in the top 100.
    I think the kid has some skills, but one thing for sure he is not much of a jumper or rebounder. If he doesn't grow by his junior year to at least 6 feet or taller no one will remember him. The taller guys that guard him will back off a foot or two because they can put a hand in his fact from that distance. While he is making all those moves, for every 3-4 steps he has to take the defender only has to take 1.
    If he were a senior 6-2 doing this and ranked highly, I could see why someone would compare him to Jason Williams. There are allot of kids in this world that can create highlight film just as dramatic as this one. Until he gets older, The comparison is unjust.

      Brian Mo Yea he's good tho. But the competition is weak and that means he's probably not as good as he's hyped up to be. Plus, if you see his competition, they look like babies compared to him. They could possibly be younger if not entire grade levels below him. Not saying they are but its looking suspect
