Taunt is literally the rarest spell to find. Even in the last videos, it was almost always the last one to max out
It really is but it's far too OP at rank 3... it really can screw with pathing
I feel like it hasn't ever been maxed out though. I haven't seen all of the videos of this game he's played, but the ones I have watched seemed like it never got over 2.
@@krynking9973 you really just ha r to recast skills to get it... you won't get them in thr shop. I think certain things ha e higher chance in the shop, recast or drops

@@stephenp8232 don't even need taunt to screw with pathing, clever positioning alone does that(in fact I see 0 behavior changes when running taunt).
I only ever pick up taunt to EX it with freezing aura for the passive def bonus(turtleborn +EX with rampaging attack, freezing aura + taunt for EX, and the ice shield combo(start with one that gives party ice damage since alot of the good skills are the ice ones(fire ones hit harder... but no attack speed bonuses so end up being less DPS) is what I run on my tank.
once you learn how enemies and units move you can place them so multiple of them dance and many enemies can't attack because they can't reach their target.
Not the first time you have gotten cockblocked on taunt level 3.

@SIfd you made a mistake..Frozen aura must be on Tank ,its 3 grid..you can see them on idol.white glowing thing..Idol basically never be near monster..so :S

I bought this game, because of your first couple videos. It has been pretty fun. I don't think im the greatest at it yet, but I did finally beat Hell difficulty with an ice mage build and a ninja.

I hate the rarity of taunt I’ve only ever gotten it maxed out in 2 runs it’s coding has to be broken there’s no way it should be that rare in the pool of spells especially since I have all 8 spells locked
Hey Sifd! You can recast three classes in hopes of finding the class you want.
70% the time, not worth it, but some times it has really helped my early game
Sifd there is a class that use the healer, its called the paladin and It is a sword and shield and the healer

Sifd: it seems like taunt was more frequent in earlier videos. It also seems to drop rarely in the shop but more on the ground. I wonder if items showing up is influenced by classes you use. Maybe the taunt shows up less often after you switch to the upgraded tank?
yup, in my endless run even at like wave 80-100, she is consistently doing 600k+ dps. My run so far is with 1 veteran, 2 mages, 1 idol and 1 healer.
That math ain’t mathing
So... i found out how to make the healers mvp... 1 warrior 3 healers 2 healers go dps. The thunder ex of the flame spells work great and the shaman class ability for the spark buff spam so they scale up
I actually just got to floor 204 in endless... war, zerk, idol, priest. Some how the boss 1 shot my 20k 500 def warrior. But that was a long run, at least I unlocked alot of unlocks... also one achievement is for wave 106... why 106 not 100.

Im glad they did this with taunts because without taunts you'd drastically get melted by the enemies taunt is the biggest carry of the game

Frozen doesn't stack the frozen aura in the tank and the frozen amplification on the idol was pointless
Those two spells give different secondary effects. Even if the frozen itself wasn't stacking.

This game has the same problem most games with random inventories have, item bloat. Which is why I'll be skipping this game for the time being. You went through hundreds of items without an item showing.
The shop and inventory management do need some improvements indeed.
But other than that it looks fun.

So you are angry that a roguelite doesn't let you just pick the build exactly how you want...🤨
There a lot of talents that help with getting your build going which sifd hasn't unlocked yet, the biggest one being the last tier of ability bans, but more shop slots and portal rerolls are also amazing for the post elite reward portals.
