love the videos driver i havent drove trucks in 5 years i opened my own successful construction company but im miserable and always stressed out and working hard so after watching your videos for the past 2 months i have made to decision to go back to trucking next year as an owner op but not as no company driver
Wowza, I deadheaded 109 miles this morning too. Come on! To Houston! 🤓 then I sat in a pipe yard all day waiting for the loader. The load down was well worth it tho!
Years and years ago I was laid over at the Flying J in Kansas City and I had a guy came up to the truck and asked if I wanted a truck wash which was strange as it was raining at the time. They were training a new Beacon across the street.
Good video! Some drivers don't like to show night footage. I love night footage, especially city-scapes. To me, it's beautiful. So, thanks for the great footage.
Tim - you mentioned at 14:15 that they had to load your trailer like a reefer. Did I misunderstand you? If not, What's the difference between loading a dry van versus loading a reefer? Both trailer types are subject to the same weight per axle.
Anthony Pirrello a reefer is nose heavy because of the extra weight of the motor, my rig is heavy, so I try and push as much as I can onto the trailer and not just shove everything in the nose
They have a weight station like they in Cheyanne Wyoming I think it was where u had to go out the way to go to it and if u cut across the other way and it was open they got ur behind
Half fenders would look sweet, and since he uses those socks instead of chains he can mount the fenders close to the tires and avoid hitting them with the trailer. can't wait to see them.
LOL!! Wonder how they would look on my little drag-n-fly single stack Mack with a window in the back, come on! But I really got my eyes on your chicken lights, then I can turn it into a left lane riding rooster cruiser!!
Hey Tim sure enjoy your videos, I like your laid back attitude. That big Pete is looking mighty fine, can’t wait to see your new deck . Be safe out there
Trucking with Selena wow, thinking about takin the leap? I run Dat for Van freight, also Landstar, Uber, Jb hunt, Ch Robinson, coyote, convoy, think I might be missing one, but yes I have access to tons of freight 👍 keep me posted 😎
@@LifeisGood2018 ya stepping stones, been gathering info. Giving up 35% to landstar is a big teeth grinder plus being limited to only their load board. You know the story.
@@LifeisGood2018 looking to get a reefer to capitalize on all freight, plus we run team. Heard a lot of great rates on produce for teams when its poppin
Trucking with Selena you will do fine, be careful about what you say or do, I kept mine under raps until it was done, people tell people and the wrong people find out, then your sitting in a parking lot somewhere earlier than you actually wanted to be 👍
Tim oysters are good eat them raw. All the fish is good! Last cruise I took from Miami was Celebrity Equinox to Key West, Costa Maya, Cozumel, Grand Cayman. Excellent! The premium liquor package got the engine running come on! The plant where you picked up the load reminds me of spots I worked at in Brooklyn. Be safe.
There's nothing wrong with booking a load that goes through house Mr. Tim. You can never get enough home time especially if you're an over the road truck driver, come on!
Dixie Mae app weigh is a blue tooth sensor I have on my air bag system on the truck and trailer, plus an app on my phone that reads it, cat scale is a fixed platform scale located at truck stops
Life is Good. Tim I know about app weigh. I was asking what was the weight difference between the two. How accurate was app weigh compared to when you scaled at cat
Dixie Mae oh, yep now that I reread your question, duh 🙄 ok they claim the app weight will be within 300lbs , if you had exactly 34,000 on each location when you do the calibration, it would be really close, I had both to share, but experiencing growing pains with the Mac, app weigh was off a little more than 600lbs, I will do a recalibration one day on the perfect load 👍
Life is Good. 600lbs gross or axle? Still not too bad. So far only found two manufactures out there. App weigh and another that needs an additional junction box 😣. I like app weigh how its a simple device connects right off the leveling valve.
Got put around back at a scale once because he do not think i was long enough to bridge what i had on. He got his tape on it i was under by 100# made him mad he had let the truck in front of me go that was 200# heaver than me. Our trucks was just a like some company.
Another outstanding video, I love oysters and one day in virginia oysters on the half shell. Bit into something very hard, thought I had lost a tooth, it was a pearl, worth $450.00 gave it to my nephews fiance, they were married the next day. Pull toy told you that.
Damn sorry I been watching your videos a long time I cant believed I didnt subscribed my bad I watch all your video's when I ain't running down the road lol keep up the good work and be safe!!!!
I like most things and have tried new stuff all the time. I was in New Orleans and figured that was a good place to try raw oysters on the half shell. Yuck, I have hacked up similar stuff when I had the flu, ha. I had to put so much hot sauce on them in order to get them down that I could not taste anything. That will be my last time for raw oysters. I like fired oysters and oyster dressing but those raw ones are for some one else. I have eaten my share of crawfish while living in Louisiana. They make for a great party meal. The seasoning used in the cooking process is the key to good mudbugs. If his tale is not curled don't eat him because that means he was dead before he went into the pot.
Wow you just went threw my neck of the woods there in Indiana would of been nice to meet you and see your beautiful peterbilt. That weigh station is always closed.
Hey you rolled right past my home. Rt 30 and the Illinois/ Indiana border. Chicago heights weigh station is never open. They park mowers there and troopers park but not seen the scale open in years. Watch yourself on rt30 by the Ford plant...real shady c'mon
alright tim, so what is the "bridge law". tryin to edumacate myself here. also, about how much time do you spend average in a week sifting through load boards looking for your loads? just curious. that first sentence is to see if the spelling police is on duty. LOL good vid man

Let’s update on what UF has done as of now 2/2020. They have lowered accessorial such as TONU, Layover, & detention. They post loads that are at/- 30% less than what the going spot market dictates on any given day. Essentially, they lured you carriers on to their platform in order to have the capacity and now that they got the market share they wanted they turned their backs on you. For all this new tech, private carriers are no better than where they were in 2016. So much for an “ industry disruptor “
Good video again Tim, as usual...enjoy your home time, and check out the Harley, it needs a good ride!.. Also you guys watching that hasn't subscribed, hit that button!...comment a little, help Tim out!...
Tim, do you ever talk to the Boss Man in public? If yes, does he talk back? I do think you have a pretty great boss putting your rambling self in that fine Pete.
Tim that doesn't make any sense to me. Three-quarters of your views are from non-subscribers? I would have thought it would have been a flip-flop opposite. Three quarters of views are from subscribers and a quarter from nonsubscribers. I religiously watch all of your videos and look forward to each and every one. Thank you, maybe I'm one of the select few but I doubt it.
If so many non subscribers are watching they must be getting notifications? There must be some kind of thought process by which they do not want to assist in helping anyone’s channel, must be a computer troll mentality.
