Hi Sir, thank U so much indeed for Ur excellent and informative tutorial on creating a 3D looking text effect in AI. We look forward to watching more tutorials like this, and keep up Ur good work. Apart from that, Ur way of demonstration and Ur accent are very clear and easy to follow by all. Also, I shall appreciate U if U could kindly tell me the name of the Font used in the tutorial. Thank U Sir, Ahamed Kabeer S From Chennai.
Hello Sir, Very good tutorial, and I learned something new out of Ur video. As I tried to do it myself, everything was happened as U have demonstrated, except at one point. The offset text is not happening from my normal editable text, even this option is grayed out in the Object > Path menu. Have we to outline the text and make it into a compound path before we apply the offset option? Kindly explain. Thank U Sir, Ahamed Kabeer S Chennai, India
great video 🍻 i copied my art and tried it out on a second art board first however when i drag by shape off the artboard for some reason the opacity mask is left behind. can’t seem to figure out why.
Thanks man. I have a problem. If i just copy the Font and go to blend, I cant select make. I need to destruct the Font. Any tips how to do it like you?
Hey thanks! I just tried it on my end with live type and I'm not running into any issues. Make sure you have 2 sets of type on your artboard before you make the blend. Duplicate and drag it down a little... Then select the two at the same time then go to blend/make. Give that a try and let me know if that helps!
@@CJAmaya I found it out. I am new to illustrations - maybe it was a noob mistake 😆 But I need to change under Type - Areatype to Pointtype or the other way around. Thanks again. Look forward to many more videos from you.
