1:40 I know that only 3 of those ever existed, but I want it in DCS... 2:45 When I fired it up the last time with that patch, it took me like 20 minutes to just get into the menu and after another 30 minutes of loading a mission, my computer just decided to take a reboot. Funnily, I skipped trying the update that was supposed to inflict a forced reboot, so maybe it just shoved that down my throat. Ran fine afterwards, but the loading times are still meh. Like 3-4ish minutes to get into the menu and another 5 to load up the sim. Was definitely better before.... 3:15 I was seeing 90fps in the Quest 3 and was quite happy about that. But well, last time I checked was like half a year ago with the 3070 getting around 60-70ish, and I installed a 4080S, but basically kept the same settings, just ramped up the res from High to Godlike in Virtual Desktop. 7:32 I hope it's not just positive for them which is great on its own, but also great for us in terms of their relations with ED. I totally want to see them back rolling! 9:22 BTW My AB9 finally arrived last week. What an upgrade! Had to order a Monsterteck long mount for it though which was quite pricy, but worth it. Think I got a nice setup now, found a suitable wooden board to extend my previously used rudder pedal stopper contraption consisting of a few DVD boxes with some weight on them so they wouldn't flip up. And I just managed to shove one of my older PCs in a good old Chieftec CS-601 (those are S-O-L-I-D!) right behind my chair against the bed. I'm literally pushing against the toeboard on opposing walls with the whole thing and the stick base is sitting perfectly gapless in front of the chair that way. Putting the throttle on another CS-601 places it right where it should be. I just need to get a stick extension now. will probably get the one from Moza as I think it will be long enough and come with that additional axis that I might have some use for especially in space sims where I don't like to use pedals for some reason.
I'm going to take the razbam post with a twist and say that the "important" and "positive" news are 2 separate things and that they are going to give us an announcement in regards to DCS and they are going to give another announcement(the positive one) about something else. Man, I sure hope their modules don't just because fully dead. As a Mirage 2k owner and someone who wanted the F-15E, It would be a shame to not really be able to use them anymore.
This package is the package of the deception (except for Sinai and Syria's map) -> The ground textures of Kola Map isn't good enought for Helicopters... -> FPS's degradation with Pimax Crystal But I appreciate that Sinai Map have much bridges in Nile Delta for the pathfinding of convoy.
Yes please! ED needs to fix the spotting dots ASAP! They are just horrible game and immersion breaking blobs atm. Many VR users are going nuts because of this. And we cannot understand why there isn´t at least a hotfix to make the main menu option working again. I know of lots of VR guys who don´t like artificial dots at all. So please give an option to turn them off.
@@SuperYooper11 I can totally understand that. Therefore it should be an option to keep the dots size as they are, for people who want or need. But for people like me, whose eyesight is not elderly or in any other way hindered, there should be an option to turn it off. It is not just because it is immersion breaking, It is literally game breaking: the dots are just an 2d overlay, similar to dotlables, blocking and overlapping the true line of sight to an object from 2nM up to 40nM, wich is ridiculous. it is not possible to tell if an object is going hot or cold, nor it is possible to guess the distance to it at all, its just a big black smudge in the screen.. and it makes the use and learning of radar and other onboard devices to improve situational awareness completely obsolete. Additionally with these blobs it is no more possible to hide from anyone unless there is a mountain inbetween.

I don’t care about dot size and I just make adjustments when needed for FPS. To be honest there has been some major updates since I updated my system so my info my be outdated. One option may be to go back to two versions one optimized for VR and the other for 2D. I am not sure if that would be feasible I am not a tech person.
You guys are a bunch of cry babies. Every update, i dont see how you guys have so many issues, most of which are user error. i have an old pc and have no problems... yet i constantly see people with high-end pcs just sit and complain so they can crash their plane into the air field. IF (note caps) ED nailed their 3rd party ToS down, like they said after the hawk, there might be good reason to believe ED can take over upgrade and/or maintenance for 'abandoned' modules
"How"/"When", probably has to do with how any disputes are settled concerning IP ownership
again IF (since this is all conjecture as well) RB did breach contract, ED would be smart to wrestle IP ownership of the modules off of them, thereby securing those products and (already having the source code) perform upkeep
This would be a big win for ED as being able to guarantee their customers their purchases are safe and futureproof
It's good news for RAZBAM, not for DCS players. They already abandoned those modules. Good thing I never bought anything from them.
Razbam have abandoned everything they publish, nothing new.
@@Harris_jank And why did they not get paid? Do you not believe there is a legal reason and Razbam have fed you a short story. Read EDs response to the accusation Zambrano claims, it has much more credibility.
@@vimfuego8827 Razbam has shown evidence that they were not getting paid since before the accused incident. So how do you explain that?
@@Harris_jank I did more often than not, but that was the exact reasonbesides my ongoing health issues why I eventually stopped even trying and switched over to just flipping off those asshats of employers that don't wanna pay me anyways. The society is crooked beyond repair in that regard. If you're not 120% effective at least, you're absolutely worthless. Not my POV on life, to be fair.
Crying in my M2000-C
RB will not get another dime from me until the ED situation is fixed. At least allow for the finishing and continued support of current Mods in ED. ED has its own issues and they are not off the hook either. But the customer needs to be take care of.
But you're going to continue giving money to ED? They are continuing to sell RAZBAM modules that they know are upcoming abandonware.
Seems they are the most anti-consumer of all.
RB hasn’t seen a dime for it’s modules in a long time now. Not sure how people expect them to work for free.
Good news for Razban not for DCS
I am really glad that see some movement within the RAZBAM ED dilemma and hope that we get some honest information for what's to come❤💙💛 Greetings from Germany
I just noticed how nice your last name sounds Andrei
Thanks
i dont play in vr but my performance has gotten better sense the latest update
This package is the package of the deception (except for Sinai and Syria's map)
-> The ground textures of Kola Map isn't good enought for Helicopters...
-> FPS's degradation with Pimax Crystal
But I appreciate that Sinai Map have much bridges in Nile Delta for the pathfinding of convoy.
pretty sure the Razbam's news will be about their collab with Microprose on Falcon 5.0
I fly 100% vr and I like the new dots. I have had zero issues with them, but then again my eyes are old, so every little bit helps!
@@SuperYooper11
I can totally understand that. Therefore it should be an option to keep the dots size as they are, for people who want or need.
But for people like me, whose eyesight is not elderly or in any other way hindered, there should be an option to turn it off.
It is not just because it is immersion breaking,
It is literally game breaking: the dots are just an 2d overlay, similar to dotlables, blocking and overlapping the true line of sight to an object from 2nM up to 40nM, wich is ridiculous.
it is not possible to tell if an object is going hot or cold, nor it is possible to guess the distance to it at all, its just a big black smudge in the screen..
and it makes the use and learning of radar and other onboard devices to improve situational awareness completely obsolete. Additionally with these blobs it is no more possible to hide from anyone unless there is a mountain inbetween.
I don’t care about the future of Razbam. I care about all the money I put into their modules. In the end it’s our money they are arguing about. Everyone so excited for razbam, but still no talk about the future of the modules.
Your money never reached Razbam, hence they stopped development.
@@denniswild4977 you’re telling me the money I paid for the Mirage in 2017, never reached Razbam? What’s your source for this?
@@holkemann you have to remember that the Situation is not razbams fault. It is because ed didnt pay Razbam the money they were supposed to get through the sales of their modules. Ed is in the wrong, Not Razbam
@@David-pj2bk cases like these are never so one-sided as that. There’s always a reason, else all the other third parties would have left as well. The money I paid for my mirage in 2017 has to have reached Razbam. Same for harrier and mig-19. I can’t say Razbam or Ron or whatever his name is have behaved good in this situation. Zero professionalism, only finger pointing. I will definitely never ever invest a cent in that man or company again.
It would be so cool if Razbam and Microprose could come up with a new version of the Strike Eagle series. Like Strike Eagle IV
Falcon 4.0 was Microprose, so maybe a new Falcon 5. Hence the issue with ED as F16 is an ED module. Pure speculation of course.
@@garethhughes5745 Strike Eagle III was also a Micropose game, based on the F-15E , But yeah I would love to see a Falcon 5.0 from them as well.
Razbam lost my vote back when they boasted that they will build the best Ai backseater and that jester and petrovic were "arcadey" , yeah fix your crap first before you dump on others razbam
Heatblur's Jester will sneed on anything Razbam could ever make when the scripting will drop
RB's opportunity to bring about what you speak of was snuffed out by ED. I have no doubt (based on their amazing work on the Strike Eagle and other modules) that, given the chance, we'd had received a very compelling ai back seater solution. But that's all dust in the wind now 😢
Good news from Razbam, but no news about Razbam and DCS. It could be any news, but nobody told us that this news do concern the modules that Razbam did for DCS.
I think they have an embargo on sharing information in light of a possible lawsuit until there is some sort of outcome.
I really wanted to save the Strike Eagle on my wishlist:(
Story of Razscam: First they breach their contract with ED, then hold their costumers hostage, get compromised and beg for other companies to take them in

Unfortunately, I can hardly play DCS since the last update... I've been in contact with DCS since the last update but nothing has helped😢
Is it really bad performance in non vr too? Ive basically given up on the game because since Version 2.6 my fps have slowly halved which each update..
@@Halozocker104 Before the update I could play with 75 FPS, but I had limited them. After the update, the CPU is completely busy and the game laggs extremely

WarThunder veteran here (i also play DCS since 2018 tho)
if you come from DCS and think about playing WarThunder...
DON'T DCS beats WT in every aspect other than maybe user friendlieness
Oh come on dude ? Do you even believe yourself in this thing 🤣
Except it doesn't. I have been playing both for many years, and war thunder definitely has its strengths. One example is the seeker simulation in war thunder is much more complex than DCS. also war thunder is more arcade which is it's strength too since you can just jump in a plane and get into a fight. Both are good in their own way
@@king-amir3401 indeed it has I like it too and I used to play quite much but say what he said it's too much. It has lots of strength I totally agree on this
In WT I can switch between VR and monitor simply by removing and putting on my VR headset. Thats a plus.
@@branimirantic3625 guys ok whatever but DCS is realism I'm not a guru of military realism of flight model but I think what we get in DCS is hard to get with war thunder than you can tell me until you explode that WT is much kore user friendly than DCS I totally agree on this without any doubt
Well Im not going to touch anything related to razbam.

Ohhh. Razbam news …
Definitely the best of the DCS YT channels.
Glad you think so! Thanks!
The T-38 looks good. If Razbam is done with DCS good luck to them, but I don't really care if they're not involved with DCS.
Idk if it has happened before but he got a war thunder sponsorship... He made it
Yeah, this year they were generous with us and I only say one thing: We are thankful...get it?!? Tank...full? Cheers!
If razbam walks away from dcs and fails to complete the products they all of us i will sue razbam.
Seems my "early" Razbam F-15 refund is warranted after all.
What's good for Razbam isn't necessarily good for their existing customers who feel increasingly left behind. I think I'll wait for more solid news before I start getting too excited about things.
Yeah, it makes sense. Waiting to see what will happen to the modules
They attempted to hold their customers ransom and when they realized it wouldn’t work, left us all hanging out to dry on a bunch of full price modules they never completed work on….
I have experienced much worse performance after this update in 2D, not making any changes.
Wherever RazBam goes (outside of DCS)....... i'm not going...
go have fun on the arcade games... maybe they'll find a home with War Thunder.
If its a modification of something, its a MOD. If its a standalone product, its a MODULE.
They sold an incomplete product bit off more than they can chew and bailed out on everyone. Both sides are wrong at this point either finish it or pull it from sale
Razbam doesn't get paid so there is no reason for them to update their modules. it's on ED's side for pulling it out from the store, it's not Razbam's fault.
Actually, it's ED, who sell modules. They allowed unfinished product to be sold and they, who refuse refunds. Their store - their responsibilities.
I’m not buying anything in DCS anymore until ED sort their issues with RB. Sure, both parties are likely at fault, but finding out about how the company is run and the downright illegal attempts to ignore consumer protection laws just shows that they don’t care about the players. Its a shell company with its only purpose to finance another venture from the owner.
about sick of Razbam. Never buying their stuff again, no more vaporware for me. dont care about the publisher at all.
Well done, they are just a publishing company, nothing more.
A face saver for DCS would be to get someone to take the F-15E and expand it to an F-15EX full fidelity model. To hell with Razbam.
Wow, campaigns for Kola map, can't wait!
bro i already sold my soul for War Thunder for the last 10 years and skip that promo part sry!
Razbam news is like Zelensky's victory plan...
😂😂
And the community is about as toxic about it as are the trolls from S. Peterburg that have been flooding asocial media everywhere for about 2.5 years... :P
Buck Razbam
But still it is not clear who has the fault here, is it Razbam o ED? If ED didnt give the money to Razbam for their work is fair that they refuse to work for ED and as consequence to give up their project. I mean if i have been ordered to build a building but who ordered it refuse to give money to me so I can't pay my employees of course me as CEO of my company I give up everything, i mean it is normal
короче порекламировали вартандыыыр и в целом нечего нового))))
I hope Razbam goes bankrupt so they can feel the disappointment and wasted money that they music-manned out of us
You mean the money that ED collected and never gave to Razbam?
Another clueless comment from a clueless person
@@Drogon1-1 Pretty sure being 6 months into it with no new update on the situation, ed having to fix the radar and refunds being granted is about as big of a clue as they get.
@@sabot8075if Razbam did not update it’s modules is due to the fact ED did not pay RB. On top of that, I would not call refund getting some ED miles.
i don't believe the 80 or even 90% that play DCS in a big screen should now be penalized for the VR users, i have VR myself but i came to the conclusion that playing on a big 50 inch screen with Trackir gives me more pleasure and i love VR but isn't there still i will need to wait for this tech, with the right monitor the scale is getting close to reality, ED need to prioritize DCS in a monitor, like i said most of users don't use VR, this is becoming stupid, when we all say its getting great ED tx, then VR users come and complain then ED break the game code because they wanna make both happy ...this cycle is getting actually annoying, the VR users should know they need a 5000 machine period otherwise don't complain plz, Tx Ps-by the way the dots look great ED dont touch it, im being real not ironic
I some what agree. I have switched to VR and will never go back. I don’t have a $5k machine, up until very recently I had a 1080ti card and it handled VR okay at lower res. VR is the future though.
Try getting better
Razbam got me once. Never again. I really don't care about the future of Razbam.
Razbam has done a poor job with their customer leaving them in the dust. Wont be satifisfied from Razbam until they give an actual update on the Razdam and ED situation. This is an unfinished model and they just pulled away without notice which is unacceptable I don't care who they work for and what projects they are working on. You don't play with customers money like that. I don't care about the dispute itself its the way it has been handled and trying to keep it hush hush when customers money is involved!
If only Razbam could even play with the customers' money...
That's the thing, you can not maintain product if you are not getting paid. No money from ED = no salaries for devs = no modules support. As simple as that.
