@@laurenhawes7201 that's their second kitchen in the guest house, so it's not as well set up or equipped as the kitchen in the main house. He basically tried to do everything on hard mode, so it's not really surprising he had a rough time.
I feel like the Try Guys definitely have it in their budget to get an air fryer and there was a very intentional decision made not to give Keith one.
Keith makes more than enough money to buy his OWN air fryer.

You don't need an air fryer at all... What happened here was that the proper oven temperature wasn't used. You need to use the proper conversion factor. Air fryers and convection ovens are literally the same thing.
I feel like they set Keith up for failure by giving him air fryer recipes without having an air fryer. That's why things didn't get crispy, Keith!!

My fave of this video as well!!! He also could have put the cutting board over top of the sink. Or as least drain and clean the sink before cooking. But if you don't have counter space, do this on a table. AND get a cutting board or a board to cover the sink entirely to make this easier and increase your cutting space as well!

Yes, but air fryers are much smaller and circulate the hot air much faster. Heating in a conventional oven at 350 degrees for 8 minutes is not going to make it crispy.

If Keith doesn’t want an air frier because they are a one trick poney, I was the same way. Get him a ninja foodie deluxe. Air frier, instant pot, yogurt maker and dehydrator all in one.
I gotta mention that to my stepdad. He’s been making jerky in a dehydrator that’s at least 20 years old and it’s a nightmare to clean

I didn't even know you had to bake cheese cakes tbh. I've always made them without baking them. I even did it for my cooking GCSE. Did a starter of prawn cocktail main of tuna pasta and dessert of a no bake cheesecake 😂. Forgot half the ingredients on the day cried phoned me dad to bring them for me had a breakdown and still passed! 😂😂

They gave him a bunch of air fryer recipes and no air fryer. Stuff cooks way faster at similar temps in the smaller space of the air fryer and without the need for added oil. It was doomed from the start

I lost. My sh*t. At Keith going under all the grapes. I don't know if it's because at this point he had failed so much but I could not deal with it and laughed for a solid two minutes until I couldn't breathe. Just the pure sound of defeat, the music... it was a thing of fail-beauty.
