Thinking back to the gorgeous weather we had here last half of May, that really looks like you were still well into winter. Good on ya for sticking it out 👍. "Hardcore Campers Unite" !! Sunny greets from 🇨🇭, Steve.
Most campsites dont allow panel vans on their sites regardless if used for camping or not as they really just look like builders vans. Most are also not insured to allow you to stay and to sleep in the van unless it has been properly converted to motor caravan and reregistered as one with the DVLA which the DVLA will never reregister a small van into a motorcaravan. Reason being they refuse you for insurance reasons is that if there was a fire or an emergency that requires evacuation by emergency services. They are not likely to check a builders van to see if anyone is a sleep in it. I gone away couple years ago with the caravan but I only had a van to tow it. We had to unhitch the caravan and park the van back at the entrance.
Superb. That campsite looked fabulous. What was its name please

We also remember the snow in May we were camping in Haslingden Lancashire in a awning attached to our van with 3 grand kids , they loved it
