The new Julia Roberts movie, “Wonder,” is about a boy born with severe facial deformities, and his struggles to fit in. ABC’s Elizabeth Vargas spent 3 years documenting the young boy’s story. The condition the boy suffers from is Treacher Collins syndrome and is something parents Russell and Magda Newman know all too well. Their son Nathaniel, 13, is a real life “Wonder Boy.” He was born without cheekbones, eye sockets or ears. #InsideEdition

I see a striving, compassionate, and loving young boy who is beautiful both inside and out. People think just because somebody has a deformity that it makes them non human...no you're wrong! He is more human than you'll ever be because he has the courage to carry on with life despite the struggles with his condition.

I have not seen this movie, but have heard so many positive reviews about it. Kids love this movie, I think it is an inspirational story as well as teaching children that internal beauty is what matters most.

I just saw the movie last night and I cried, not because I felt sad about the movie but because around the beginning of the film Auggie says no one would even talk to him. And I go through the same thing. And when he had a happy ending, I was still left there alone. That movie is amazing, but it makes me so depressed.
