Let the babies be free because they always cry out of being uncomfortable the moment I watch a video of a baby being swaddled. This conventional wisdom will get your children paralysed. Let the babies be free and enjoy blood circulation.

Newborns do not have control of their limbs. Unlike grown humans, they do not go into "sleep paralysis" when they sleep, resulting in random arm and leg flinging. It startles them and they cry due to the stress. Swaddling done correctly does not hurt the baby at all--even if it looks like it. They are just snug, similar to how they were in the womb. Effective swaddling increases comfort and prevents movements from jolting themselves awake.

    No, it's a constricting movement. I don't like it.

it’s for the baby, not for you to like!

You don't know what you're talking about then. Don't think they were restricted in the womb?

It’s suppose to constrict its movement. Babies were constricted in the womb and got comfortable that way. Wrapping them 🌯 makes them feel more secure. My baby got instantly happier when I wrapped him. I could see it in his eyes 👀 and sometimes he’d even smile at his newfound comfort. 🥰

    Please not too tight
    Heart must beat
    Baby must breathe and cry
And babies don’t like to ROLL… scares them! U-shaped small rolled blanket is perfect around sides and bottom.
    Just my experience talking here.

Please leave an arm out for your baby. God forbid your baby is trying to call your attention as in choking or any source like that that one arm will be his or hers distress signal! It will also be easier to know if your baby is properly moving ! Some babies only move their hands at night

I’m thinking that he doesn’t like it as much as the nurse. He wasn’t crying before she started.
