Thanks for the Vid. My 09 Genesis 4.6 just over heated last week . Check engine light had PO116 coolant temp sensor. My temp gauge was at 3/4 high when over heating. I replaced the sensor, thermostat and coolant while I was already there. Gauge didn’t start to work until I clear the computer but fan wouldn’t turn on. I saw this vid and read post on genesis forums and order a new module to replace when it arrives. The fan connect from module to fan had slightly burnt plastic on one side. I think i will also replace fan harness if possible because I think this created excess heat in that connection which I believe would cause the module to fail.
