Its not like celebrity or some bimbo surgery. Theres many people with deformity around the jaw, nose, and teeth and this show have expert surgeons to help with it. I don't like how they changed a lot about her face but i do like how her got teeth fixed.
The swan was just ugly ppl wanting to fix their appearances to attract ppl in order to get in you had to go up against other ppl with 4 “beautiful “ judges picking the ugliest one . Which is degrading and sad .this woman actually got her smile fixed so I’m not complaining about that at all
She just needed some dental works. My son's teeth were like that as a kid. I was told it is called jetting and he had a small pallette. They adjusted the pallette slowly, fixed the Muller's, then braces. She didn't need all that work done.
Yeah her eyebrows, eyes, nose, lips, bone structure were already perfect and they still felt the need to do so many dangerous procedures to her face. Teeth change would’ve already changed her jaw and lips so everything else was just unnecessary.
Honestly I got the feeling that she wasn't happy in that reveal scene. She was the least expressive in that clip compared to the other ones. I like that you refer to these people before their procedures as "pretty woman." Beauty is everywhere. You're such a wonderful person! Thats why I follow you.

I can see how she might have issues (from a comfort standpoint) with her teeth but there was nothing wrong with any other aspect of her. She was already pretty to begin with
*edit: I think their plastic surgery was actually fairly minimal, but im pretty sure what changed her appearance so much was basically make up and better lighting lol. She really didn’t need that touch up. But if she’s happy it’s all that matters 🤷🏻♀️
I totally agree with you. The result doesn't look like as if they only did her teeth nose and eyes. It looks like a complete makeover.
She just doesn't look like herself anymore. And I honestly doubt that her reaction was because of pure happiness.
Cap
Totally agree with you, she didn't need plastic surgery, she needed brace and better oral care.
They changed her whole fking face, she not even herself anymore. Now she look like a stiff doll. I hate it, everything about that show
I totally agree. Her teeth were honestly the only things that really needed work, because not only from a beauty standpoint. The other things were completely unnecessary, those parts looked pretty good already.
She looks absolutely stunning! She was a diamond 💎 in the rough! She is definitely shinning bright now!
Honestly she looks more happy and feels very attractive. What a great job the doctor did.❤
The swan was such a horrible show just ppl getting called all kinds of ugly just to get plastic surgery 😂
But don't you think it's worth it? If I had a serious problem like this woman, I'd let everyone call me ugly if it got my problem(s) fixed
@@gailreed7601 for free on top of that
@@gailreed7601 idk I think in 'the swan' it was pretty damaging, because they didn't just fix the things that the participants wanted but also pointed out what else was 'wrong' and needed to be fixed. +They shamed the contestants if they didn't loose enough weight and they had to do al these physically demanding surgeries etc in a very short time while in isolation and not allowed to have any mirrors around. Usually there was also a bad marriage that was supposed to be saved by the wife 'turning beautiful' (honestly a lot of asshole husbands). If by that point your self esteem wasn't already shit, it definitely is at the end of the show... I don't know if it would be worth it
(On a more positive note, it's great that this women was able to fix het teeth like this since it was probably not only a cosmetic problem but also influencing her day to day life with eating etc. But it's sad that there has to be a TV show instead of general affordable healthcare)
Which is degrading and sad .this woman actually got her smile fixed so I’m not complaining about that at all
She only needed teeth fixed to look better and different but she looks so perfect now so if that’s what she wants I’m happy lol
Glad they didn't do a bbl
I rather a bbl than this.
I loved the Swan. As long as participants are fully willing and healthy to undergo procedures, and treated perfectly well I am good with it.
tf...you loved the swan? 😰
Originally, it's a Korean show named Let Me In, but the woman in the video participated in Let Me In Thailand. She looks stunning though.
She just needed some dental works. My son's teeth were like that as a kid. I was told it is called jetting and he had a small pallette. They adjusted the pallette slowly, fixed the Muller's, then braces. She didn't need all that work done.
She looks amazing and she feels beautiful instead of ashamed. It made me smile and tear up for her.
But I guess I wouldn't be happy being made into a sideshow like that either. I hope the show doesn't affect her everyday living and she can regain her peace and confidence.
I like that you refer to these people before their procedures as "pretty woman." Beauty is everywhere. You're such a wonderful person! Thats why I follow you.
“This is kinda weird” lmfao
She looks really happy and I love that. The reveal is super awkward and made it feel like an advertisement for their work
Well, that's what this is.
It is an ad actually. Many surgeons in East and Southeast Asia do major work on normal people and have it documented and presented on local shows or a RUclips series. Their client base really goes up after this, especially for countries that promote medical tourism through PS packages.
@@cassiechung8567 wow thanks for the explanation, idk how to feel about that but good to know!
I wish I could get my smile back. I lost it to illness 5 years ago and have hidden myself from everyone.

@@staroromia2597 True! Yeah, Nadine you should smile if you overcame your illness or are still striving.
True. I have crooked teeth which are slightly yellow so I cover my mouth with hand whenever I laugh. I've instances where people have told me why I don't smile much. My teeth is def one of my biggest insecurity.
I wish you all the best in life and I want you to know that you're a survivor. 💗
Not only did they change her facial features, they also changed her from Nepalese to a common korean woman
*voice crack* "This is kind of weird, what do you think?" brilliant lmaooo

I guess that they can’t get over the fact that they have made a huge difference to her overall look and confidence. They’re happy for her.
She looks amazing ! God Bless her !
Oh I remember this show.. Didn’t air for too long. Some of the procedures they did to the “ugly ducklings” were insane. Several surgeries at once, and no contact with family or friends for a couple months during their recovery so the big reveal was even more dramatic.
Are u talking about this Asian show or the US version?
They were also not allowed to look at themselves so there were no mirrors. Talk about causing emotional damage.
@@kookycat9663 The US show.. idr what year it aired
The cost of being pretty
they did see friends and family. it’s all fake. i did a tv show and the producers convinced the watchers that everyone saw me for the first time. not only did i see them all at church earlier that day. i also had to walk in 3 times for them to get different reactions due to only being 1 camera guy.
Only her teeth needed help, she really didn't need anything else done to be able to have a stunning make-over (especially not her eyes)
👍👍👍
It would take the entire team and another one to fix my face. Ugh - she is gorgeous ❣I'm super happy for her. Her entire life will change - I mean she won't become rich, etc., but her confidence will surprise her in little and big ways. Good job 👏
I think that all people are beautiful. Plastic surgery is elective but unless there are any medical issues that it would fix, it is unnecessary. It's what makes you different that makes you beautiful.
I admit. I have binged this show on You Tube. The transformations are astonishing and the contestants were greatly enriched by the surgeries.
So happy for her tho! This is the kind of transformation i want. Finally they were able to fix her teeth.

I remember that show The Swan (a play on "the ugly duckling" I think). It was horrible. The amount of surgery and changes made turned them into totally different people, really disturbing.
I remember growing up on the ugly duckling I watched in Spanish idk of same show but yeah, all I can say, is no wonder
I love your reaction at the end xD "this is kinda weird, what is this?"💀💀💀
I think they’re a blessing.. they helped a woman feel beautiful in every aspect and yet spending her entire life feeling otherwise
I'm very happy for her!!! Her doctors did an amazing job. I love extreme makeover shows.
Lol! Iove how you're reacting to the surgeons. I would never have picked up on that if you didn't point it out. She looks happy! But the surgeons patting themselves on the back does throw me a little now.
Why? Why can't they be happy about the work they did?
Does she look happy, though? Her smile in the beginning seemed more genuine.
Yeah, why are you thrown off by the surgeons?
RUclips asked me "what do you think about this comment" XD
God Complex? Or just part of the reality tv script?
I cried when you said, "This pretty woman". Acknowledging she is beautiful without a makeover, I appreciate you.
They all collectively did a great job. She looks much better than before.
She's gorgeous!
Bless the doctors.
People act like the teeth shit wasn’t completely necessary I’m no dentist but that looks painful and ineffective
Chad, you are absolutely right
The show didnt showed u enough each parts of doctor's conversation. They should convince her what kind of shape they will arranges. Thats hard to see. My frend must waiting for 3 year for straight looks. Not include whitening. And thats need a lot meet (money money money)
I think this is great you can tell she’s very happy with the results. The biggest confidence boost was her teeth she’s still shy to smile but wow.
The father with the baby in the future "is this my child?!"
I like that you didn't say she was "ugly" or something like that and said the real problem and called the show out at the end

I remember the swan. As a fat woman (young teen at the time) it made expectations rise and self esteem plummet.
I'm a proud plus size and I remind them in most parts of the world a plus size not obese woman is viewed as womanly and beautiful not an ugly duckling. In the third world cultures the skinny ones look broke and there for less 'pretty' cause they cannot afford to eat enough to have a healthy layer of fat.
