    One of the reasons we spend our RVing summers on Vancouver Island besides spending time with our family and friends is my wife's love of boating.
    We always pick an RV Park close to a marina so she can enjoy her little 17.5 foot Arima Sea Chaser boat nicknamed "Snoopy".
    This summer we are enjoying the Thunderbird RV park in Campbell River - www.loveyourrv.... The Discovery Harbor Marina is only 10 minutes away.
    In this video, you'll find highlights of our recent boating excursion to Desolation Sound. An amazingly beautiful place for boating and camping on British Columbia's southwest coast.
    Link to RV Park in Quadra Island I showed in the video - capemudgeresort...

    Thanks Ray. This definately brings back memories. We would also stay at the marine park and loved to take our tender out and explore all of the passageways. Forbes bay was one of our favorites. Princess Louisa inlet, octopus islands etc. It's been 10 years since we were up there. Char and I are thinking about including Vancouver island next year when we get away for the summer. I really miss that area!

    Ray, you are the same kind of tour guide as you are a repairman...thorough, concise and easy to listen to.

    That video is GREAT - trying to learn about that area - and learned more from this than watching ten other vids. Relaxed, complete, informative, good photography, good audio, easy to understand!. Thank you so much - Don in Brookings, OR Planning a trip up to CR next August with my Duckworth 24 OFFSHORE. Need to learn all I can!

    Nice video. Done very well. I guess you are full-time rv's? I see you leave your 17.5' boat covered on Vancouver Island in Canada while you are gone rv'ing in the winter. What a nice life. Thanks for sharing.

    Such a lovely way to spend the day. The scenery is just breathtaking! Looks like beagle pup enjoyed herself, and so glad to see her in a life jacket :) I really enjoyed this non-RVing video, although you did sneak in a view of that awesome campground, LOL

    I really enjoyed this video.
    As a young man, my dream was to see the world from the deck of a 40' sailing sloop. Well, that never happened, but it's nice to get out on the water any chance I get.
    Ann has a sweet little boat, and really knows how to use it!
    Refuge Cove looks like my kind of place. I love how 'funky' it is.
    The still photos were very nice, too.
    Thanks for posting.
    Happy Camping!

    Sure, you have a great day there!! early 2000's i lived in metro ny area, a lot of time we stayed around, long island sounding, harlem canal, hudson river, east river, newark port... i used to had a 245 sundowner cuddy cabin, with a gm 350 v8, can speed up to almost 90 km. july 4, 2000, there was a major marine celebration, all kind of ship from all over the world including aircraft carrier, was involved. that night we stayed mooring between elis island & liberty island watching the firework show.
    had not visit there since 2001,

    Very nice day out and about. I lived aboard a 38 ft sailboat for 18 years. If Ann loves boating and RV'ing she would love that. They share a lot in common. Cheers.

    How do you take it with you places? Is there a hitch on the back of your camper?

    • @LoveYourRV
      @LoveYourRV  9 лет назад

      Jack Beebe There is a hitch on the truck. We tow it separate. The boat usually gets moored in a marina.

    • @LoveYourRV
      @LoveYourRV  9 лет назад

      Jon Hoad She stores it in a boat storage yard in Nanaimo here on Vancouver Island. She has a shrink wrap cover for it to keep it protected from the weather, works really well
