The Range, Damage, quickest charge time for a high damage weapon (3 vs the 4 of nearly everything else), just make it feel good to use. The telescopic baton is always my go-to for intimidation builds. Low damage, but good knockback and range...perfect for whacking someone to force a surrender.

They should make a duffel bag melee with slow speed and high knockdown, with scaling damage depending on what your carrying. Like if you were carrying gold, it would deal more damage than if you were carrying cash.

Personally, I use the electric brass knuckles when I have Joker, and the kunai knife when I don't. The kunai is deadly even without melee skills. I like the leather sap too, just because I have a real one.
Technically the electric knuckles aren’t good for jokers as you have to wait for the animation to stop before you dominate,,, but I sometimes do it too!
I'm imagining the payday gang in the safe house preparing their gear and after loading their miniguns and rocket launchers they pick up their cooking tools and leave

I'm a fan of the selfie stick, unrealistic as its in-game portrayal is and which I only use on stealth runs, just because it feels delicious to beat people down with an object I hate so much.

The spear is actually pretty bad compared to the katana mate, the only stat that’s better is the full charge time. The attach rate of the katana is way faster, something like more than 2 times, the katana is like 100 hits per minute while the spear is less than 50
The hidden stats of melee mate, it’s all about the time it takes for the extra swings. The consecutive swings of the katana are more than twice as fast as the spear. Not trying to convince you, use what you like, but I assure you, the katana is statistically better than the spear. Have fun with what you like though mate, that’s what counts!
