White collar crime fits the vibe of the yacht heist so perfectly. I like jazz already so the whole aristocratic heist thing it has goin on paired with the music actually feels like the music is playing diagetically and makes you feel like "haha these assholes have no idea they're getting robbed" which lets be honest is part of the feeling that makes stealth heists feel so cool
Love your videos man! (you too B33croft) and yeah I also get nostalgic and play it every Christmas. Been playing payday 2 since pre-ordering it, what a journey at this point.

There are only two types of people in this world. Those who like I Will Give You My All and those who are wrong. I mean come on, it's not every day you hear Bain sing.
I can't believe 'death row' is so low, that track makes you feel like the gang are fighting every thing that is thrown at them and there still coming out like badasses. The second part of the song comes in even harder then the first part it's insane.
I keep forgetting that you’re not a very big youtuber, and every time i see i video i get confused when it only gets 50k views because the quality and effort that goes into them is actually incredible
“Left in the Cold” Should be at least Top 15. Stealth starts with ambience and atmosphere building. The sheer suspense felt makes any stealth heist feel like it’s at the brink of going loud, it constantly puts you at the edge of your seat. Whether this harms or adds to the song depends on you. The actual assault section is a banger. It makes it feel like a fight for your life, but instead of it being dire, you’re winning. When the second part of the assault section hits, you have no choice but to give in to the beat. I studied to this, I got an A. The Control and Anticipation sections seem to be a completely different song, but they really aren’t. They become very calm, but still bring suspense and, as the phase suggests, anticipation. You’re still at the edge of your seat because, even though you have a little break, you KNOW it’s a calm before yet another storm, one that you will survive. The overall feel and experience this track brings to the table is great. I suggest using it on Hoxton Breakout Day 2, where I first heard it in a Random selection. (Edit: autocorrected heist, to guest. Fixed that.)
I'm a massive fan of the "police sirens" section in calling all units, especially in the remastered soundtrack Simon made not too long ago so it's definitely my personal favorite
Man, you made a great decision with Ode To Greed, like you said, It's THE Payday song, so fucking powerful. Nothing else that hits quite like it, though break the rules is the best as a standalone song discounting gameplay, it's a goddamn masterpiece
@@b33croft break the rules is the best song in this game for me. Both the quiet and loud versions, I do see how your #1 choice made it there, I respect it lol.
Not me, Ode to greed is a bit too off color for the setting of Payday, I could totally see break the rules blasting hard in a Scarface/Bank Heist movie.
as someone that plays a lot of stealth, i think that "white collar crime" is the best stealth track, the main difference between it and "and now we wait" would be that even do both are absolutely perfect for their source heists, the calm feeling of "white collar crime" hits a bit better than "and now we wait"'s more tense one for overall use
In my opinion the best one is hot pursuit, it just feels so good to blast into your ears as medic dozers charge at you and playing this song immediately makes you feel like your in a movie
A pretty good list overall. The generics fall to the bottom, then the whacky/fun/classics that can differentiate themselves, then the standout tracks and bangers, finally the ones that make you say “it’s payday fellas!” Also, dirt and dust exactly at #10. So I guess I can’t riot. Well played
Break the rules is the greatest song in the game, it feels like an actual song from the 80's from an actual band, not some piece of music composed just for a videogame.
Dude i thought i was goin mental when "Thats what she said" flashed on the screen lol literally had to rewind it to check if i actually saw something or now :P
I have to go with Break The Rules, when me and the boys always play the Scarface Mansion heist we always bring the Little Friend 5.56, Commando 101 and Lumberlite L2 and blast it. It's a great song that decreases the awareness and turns up the enjoyment and fun bar to 100. Thanks Simon :)
For stealth I absolutely love The Mark, for some reason it helps me get focused and I love how it adds weight to the ambience of the game, and for loud I have to go with Fuse Box, such a timeless classic for me it gets me every time I listen to it!
Where's the Van is one of my favourite songs ever written in context, it puts such huge amounts of pressure and anxiety on the player especially with the escape timer. It makes you feel like you did something wrong and now you have to pay the consequences. It perfectly captures the "oh shit" feeling you get when you need to defend your loot
I love really anything with guitars. Ironically, you ranked half of my favorite songs on the lowest end. My favorites on loud, in no particular order: Death Wish, Shadows and Trickers, The Gauntlet, Something Wicked This Way Comes, Backstab, Locke and Load, Drop Zone, Screech, Pounce, Storm Fuel Overload, Death Row, Steel Wrapped Gift, 8Bits Are Scary, Le Castle Vania Infinite Ammo, Double Cross, and Home Invasion,
I was expecting the number one choice you made to be significantly lower but I am pleasantly surprised it reached that spot. I must admit it's my favourite track from the entire soundtrack and to see it top the music list from someone else makes me happy. Superb choice you magnificent bastard. (I've refrained from naming the track just for spoilers sake if you're still listening in)
I absolutely adore flames of love and our time. I grew up with my grandparents who would always play those kinds of songs so I have such intense nostalgia for it.
I really really love “Left in the cold”, it really evokes the feeling of betrayal in the heat of the moment. Which is what the Alaskan Deal heist is all about
Break the Rules is quite underrated in my opinion. I personally absolutely love it but I don’t it gets appreciated enough. And Simon Viklund is a soundtrack god.
Not hearing Evil Eye for nearly the entire list made me happy. Evil Eye is my favorite, alongside Hot Pursuit, And Now We Wait, and the one from Reservoir Dogs.
I have a friend who turns down game audio in every game he plays, and another friend who turns down music in payday 2 only because he thinks “payday music is just annoying.” Honestly don’t know why they’re still my friends.
I have a feeling that for payday 3 they could do what they did on payday 2 by remixing all the classics tracks, but instead remix stuff like "razormind 2022" or even "dontacdumb 2023" or something
For me I love I Will Give You My All 2017, Cakewish, Death Row, 8 Bits Are Scary but my all time favorites are Home Invasion 2016 and Sirens In The Distance
The Payday soundtrack used to be my favourite playlist I would listen to everyday on the bus. It's only until a few years ago when I found the Yakuza soundtrack
Ngl, I actually really like 8 bits are scary. It's not super memorable, but it definitely gives that fast, frantic energy when it kicks on for a heist you tried and failed to stealth, so you're sprinting around severely underpowered, doing your best to secure the bags and escape while avoiding as much of the active gunfight as you can. Yes this is incredibly specific. I had this happen to me on the Diamond Heist, the one in the Garnet Group penthouse or whatever that place is. Only reason it went loud is cause I tossed a bag to the window washer, missed, and it respawned dead center of the little courtyard thing. Three guards, all on different floors, saw it sitting there and called in.

Nice!
Dude i thought i was goin mental when "Thats what she said" flashed on the screen lol literally had to rewind it to check if i actually saw something or now :P
Haha had to put it in there
It's obvious that "chains is in a pickle" should've been #1
Haha fax
As a piano player must say, piano and saxophone are good on their own, but together they are even BETTER.
Just like chocolate and caramel.
Haha nice
I don't like caramel
@@flxpheonix i dont like you
That alarm-like sound in Locke and Load just hits so differently to me. But there’s honestly not a single bad song in Payday2
Agreed!
L&L is great, love that its a remix of the gauntlet
I have to go with Break The Rules, when me and the boys always play the Scarface Mansion heist we always bring the Little Friend 5.56, Commando 101 and Lumberlite L2 and blast it. It's a great song that decreases the awareness and turns up the enjoyment and fun bar to 100. Thanks Simon :)
8-bits are scary is my number one, feel numberly atacked now
Haha nah you’re with the many
@@b33croft nice to hear!
It may not be a heist song, but This Is Our Time has always been my favorite, default or not.
Yea I love that song
Yeah, i want to make an assault track mod for it so badly, and then gun down feds in Hoxton Breakout Day 2 lol
Sometimes i feel bad to use CustomOST, because there is so many good tracks on this game. Ode To Greed is AMAZING to hear during a DS assault wave!
Yea I agree!
My personal favorite is Razormind, it's the classic. Usually I just run the heist track or random and see what happens
Yea great track
For me best is "underground lockdown" and "evil eye".
Nice!
For stealth I absolutely love The Mark, for some reason it helps me get focused and I love how it adds weight to the ambience of the game, and for loud I have to go with Fuse Box, such a timeless classic for me it gets me every time I listen to it!
Nice mate!
I will always love code silver from the original Payday, it was the only reason I even bought Payday soundtrack
Nice mate!
"Death wish" and "Half past wicked" are my personal favorites
Nice!
100000% agree it goes so hard
"Number one: Henry's...
[trollface starts to smirk]
Forget about it."
:)
I love really anything with guitars. Ironically, you ranked half of my favorite songs on the lowest end. My favorites on loud, in no particular order:
Death Wish, Shadows and Trickers, The Gauntlet, Something Wicked This Way Comes, Backstab, Locke and Load, Drop Zone, Screech, Pounce, Storm Fuel Overload, Death Row, Steel Wrapped Gift, 8Bits Are Scary, Le Castle Vania Infinite Ammo, Double Cross, and Home Invasion,
Nice list mate
I feel like B33croft doesnt like Helloween.
Haha not so much
I was expecting the number one choice you made to be significantly lower but I am pleasantly surprised it reached that spot.
I must admit it's my favourite track from the entire soundtrack and to see it top the music list from someone else makes me happy.
Superb choice you magnificent bastard.
(I've refrained from naming the track just for spoilers sake if you're still listening in)
thanks mate!
"Man I love 8bits lets see how he ranks them-"
...
*"Im about to shoot you with all your #1 ranked weapons"*
Even when it’s just tracks we still have the dancing heisters
Haha hell yea
I absolutely adore flames of love and our time. I grew up with my grandparents who would always play those kinds of songs so I have such intense nostalgia for it.
Great tune!
Nothing:
Absolutely nothing:
Playing razormind Assault theme : LEEEEEEEEEEEEET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Lol yes!
Now that this disturbance is settled, let's get back to work.
I DIDN'T QUEUE UP RAZORMIND AND BUY A MINIGUN TO RAID THE DOJ QUIETLY!
*LEEEEEEEETSSSS FUCKIIING GOOOOOOO!!!!*
LESSSSSSSS FUUUUUUUUUCKKIIIIIIIIING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I really really love “Left in the cold”, it really evokes the feeling of betrayal in the heat of the moment. Which is what the Alaskan Deal heist is all about
We need Every random event worst to best like the red diamond
Ooh good one!
That’s not a half bad idea
love that the background moves with the track
Thanks mate
you know a soundtrack is good when even the lowest placed track is still nice
haha I agree mate!
Yes ! Finally see someone also like Ode To Greed ! You cannot imagine how happy I am to see it made it to your top of the list.
Love it!
Break the Rules is quite underrated in my opinion. I personally absolutely love it but I don’t it gets appreciated enough. And Simon Viklund is a soundtrack god.
I feel like everyone loves break the rules! It's so good!
@@b33croft I guess in terms of Payday 2 it’s loved, besides, it’s a banger!
@@sheriffsatori it did never sound like a payday song...
This really doesn't matter bc all songs are good i mean they're so good ngl.
Agreed!
Not hearing Evil Eye for nearly the entire list made me happy. Evil Eye is my favorite, alongside Hot Pursuit, And Now We Wait, and the one from Reservoir Dogs.
Great songs!
"Aaaargh, I need a medic bag!" obviously is my favorite piece of all of them
Haha for sure
Your explanation for I Will Give You My All was short yet soo good. Love it!
Thanks mate :)
b33croft? More like one of the best Payday 2 you tubers. Am I right?
Thanks my friend :)
"How on earth do you even start with ranking Payday 2 soundtracks?"
Step 1- Put Donacdum first place
Step 2- Publish Video
No its I will give you my all
Ghost payday soundtrack way too fucking good tho theres like 20 songs that could probably be number 1
Haha sure!
You misspelled razormind.
@@bonogiamboni4830 You misspelled 8 bits are scary.
I have a friend who turns down game audio in every game he plays, and another friend who turns down music in payday 2 only because he thinks “payday music is just annoying.” Honestly don’t know why they’re still my friends.
keep them out of your life
Ironically, 8 Bits are Scary is my favorite Payday track, along with the legend itself - Evil Eye!
Awesome!
I have a feeling that for payday 3 they could do what they did on payday 2 by remixing all the classics tracks, but instead remix stuff like "razormind 2022" or even "dontacdumb 2023" or something
I kinda hope so
Bad mother****er remix
For me I love I Will Give You My All 2017, Cakewish, Death Row, 8 Bits Are Scary but my all time favorites are Home Invasion 2016 and Sirens In The Distance
Nice list mateb
The Payday soundtrack used to be my favourite playlist I would listen to everyday on the bus. It's only until a few years ago when I found the Yakuza soundtrack
Nice!!
The first music I played was razormind and nearly never changed it I know there are a lot of good ones but that one sticked to me
So good!
Im glad you gave Dirt and Dust a high score because I loved listening to this on RUclips on my phone even though I don’t have brought the DLC yet.
Yea I love it
still dont buy the dlc, shit heist.
Can't believe "I will give you my all" is so low on this list. Isn't it like loved by literally everyone?
