Hi love all your suggestions,I have an 5th wheel with a small add on room,I noticed somehow the squirrels are getting in and are in my ceiling I need to get up and look where they are getting in, and get a rodent wire installed.
I'll be going back there once the snow lets up ( we are getting hit the last couple of days Feb 4th and 5th with a bad storm in Nova Scotia, Canada.
I have a water drum for water in the winter and wondering what kind of heater I would need to keep it from freezing.?
Thanks for sharing your information and videos I enjoy them very much❤

Too bad I got a nice Racor diesel water separator from Dad's old fuel tank he had in the back of his truck it's a nice big one sitting in my shop and sitting in there for probably 15 years I can imagine what those things cost nowadays And I got a little tiny glass bottle of one from the old Toyota trucks back in the 70s they used to have them on them

Stuck on the island…… that’s not a bad thing. Once settled life becomes a routine where ever you live.
That caddy will be nice and you’re engine’s will love it for years to come.
    Stay warm you two..!!

Nothing worse for a motor than ethanol fuel. Oh yea, water...lol 😂😅 Water separators are great for boats, tractors, generators, anything. The high humidity ya'll have, along with temperature changes, doubles the amount of condensation build up. Hopefully, it'll solve the issue. Unlike the chicken wire and squirrel saga, he'll chew right around it, I'm afraid. Love ya'll ❤️

Hey Brian this is just a thought from years experience is that you do not want to use teflon tape around gas the gas will dissolve in get into your gas as well as you'll have leaks just a thought they do make a special tape for gas in general your auto parts store carries it.

I rarely read the instructions. When i was by my sisters she bought a shelving unit that goes behind the toliet. I tried twice using the instructions (she wanted me to) but couldn’t get it. Finally i put it together in the middle of the night in the bedroom i was sleeping in. Just looked at the picture on the box. No parts left over either. Finally got home yesterday. I don’t like cooking or repairing things by other peoples houses but i do when it needs to be done. Our kitchen probably has to many things you would need in it but i can and have cooked full meals for 100 people at a time. My husband and i are tool freaks and we dyi mostly everything in the house. After 45 years together we rarely have to go buy a tool because we have almost anything you might need to work on the house or cars. We sure do miss the cars that had no computer chips in them because we used to fix or replace everything but the transmissions. Have a Great week and Thanks for sharing. Get rid of that squatter if it comes back because it will start chewing on those wires. I don’t know if it could start a fire in the house doing it but those are the worse house fires. My sister was living in a brick house and it went up like a match stick.

That looks like a nice gas caddy. I bought a plastic one before the prices went crazy a few years ago. But your caddy doesn't seem priced too bad considering it's a 30 gallon. The poodle mixes seem nice. Probably a good water retriever. Poodles were retrievers too. I don't know how much more time I have to own dogs. (Around your age) There are a bunch of breeds I would like to get. I might have to do a grand finally and just buy four different breeds at a time instead of one at a time. I had a husky malamute mix years ago. I once tied him to a sled so he could pull me. He wouldn't budge. Not one for taking orders. Back when we needed snow shoes, he would just climb up out of the snow and stand on my snow shoes and then I couldn't budge. That pushed me into the working breeds that want to please people more like boxers. I was thinking about the smoked salmon we bought in AK while we were in Juneau. I tried some recently that didn't taste as good. It's supposed to be in the 50's through the next weekend here. Which is good because I can use less firewood for a while. Right now it's around 23 degrees outside and 83 degrees inside. I would rather colder outside temps because the air quality is often better in the winter months and all the seasonal neighbors have flown south.

@@AnAlaskaHomestead My wife just told me a story about something that happened recently. A elderly woman had to have help come into her home to take care of her. She had the biggest sized poodle. The woman nurse or cna or whatever she was that came in to help her died in her home. The elderly woman was stuck in bed so she couldn't get help. About a week or a couple weeks went by and the daughter-in- law went to check on her mother-in-law. She found both women dead and the poodle had consumed at least parts of the elderly woman. A quick search showed older articles about pets doing just that. So maybe I'll just get some fish. Not piranhas! My dog was looking at me oddly today. But that is a true story. Info- Dr. John Campbell YT videos about "white clots". Related to the things they want to get into people. Elastic and brand new condition.
