David Cook delivers big time on the invitation he made to the PS22 Chorus of 2011 last month to sing with him on his new single, "The Last Goodbye!" This was truly one of the most musically satisfying (and otherwise) musical collaborations PS22 Chorus was ever privileged to be a part of! 2 or 3 more great performances to come from this amazing afternoon, so stay tuned!
Big thanks to David and his guitarist Neal Tiemann and Jamie for making this happen! Also thanks and props go to Mr. Eberle for some additional guitarwork and rock star Marquis on the skins! And lastly, big thanks to Ms. Lisa for her amazing filming on this! Nobody could have captured this unplugged performance on one hand-held camera better!

I'm so proud to work at PS 22. These kids have great potential, I'm glad to be apart of it all :)
One person dislikes a room full of talented musicians having fun and appreciating the joy of music for music's sake.
This, this is why we need to keep music in our schools. Teachers like Mr. Eberle are priceless. Props to the PS22 Chorus, Marquis, David and Neal - this collaboration is magical.
These kids are just amazing. I couldn't think of "anyone" more perfect to collaborate with Mr. David Cook. "I forgot to bring them in. i was kinda mesmerized." That's exactly how I feel listening to David Cook's voice and now your kids!. Couldn't have put it better.
It is virtually impossible to not smile while watching this. Gorgeous song sung beautifully.

This is just SO PRECIOUS!!! These kids are so talented and so adorable, far from a robotic choir, they dance, they enjoy themselves, they express their love for music, it's pure joy and love! Amazing!

OMG this gives me chills. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING There are not enough good words to describe this performance. The joy on David's face says it all. He knows this was such a privilege for him and the kids seem to feel the same way. This is one that that will be played everywhere! Just when I think I can not love this guy more he goes and does something like this. What an awesome guy he is. These kids are so adorable too and the way they get into the music and don't hold back. LOVE IT!
David was inspiring, and those kids! The way they moved to the music, the way they felt that song! THUMBS UP! Yes! Perfection. And their voices were stellar. I will watch this over and over again!
What a joy to see your kids singing - so full of love, and heart, and spirit. The love of music and singing can transform lives. And David Cook is such a natural with kids, making this even more spectacular. Clearly, he was so moved by you all. As a fan of David's, this made me very happy. It's going to be so hard to say goodbye to this group of kids, but i'm already excited to see what amazing things the next groups does!! Mr. B...I Love You!!

I love that the kids MOVE when they sing. You can see how much they love singing, how comfortable they are...unselfconscious...it's a beautiful thing. The only choruses I've ever watched with kids is school concerts and the kids don't move much. Don't know if it's being self-conscious or if it doesn't inhabit their souls as much as it does for these kids, or maybe not encouraged by their chorus teachers? But these kids....just uninhibited and amazing! And of course, David Cook is fantastic!

"If you hear us on the radio, this is our last goodbye, this is our last goodbye." I wouldn't think of it as a goodbye, maybe to the semester. But these children are going somewhere. You've helped shaped and molded them. God gave them a talent and you've helped them improve it. I can't wait to see what the future of these children become professional singers. You're amazing with what you've done with them.

Wow, kudos all round -- great kids, great song, great TEACHERS, and -- well, yeh of course Mr. Cook is nearly always great :-) This is such a pleasure to watch -- definitely better than 90% of what's on VH1!! (exception being David Cook's own vid of TLG!). Way to go everyone!
