It actually looks like a good foundation to work from. I am a doo guy but did drag home a Polaris classic 500 did a little bit of tuning and cosmetics and flipped it. The whole layout of polaris was kinda foreign to me, knowing doo like the back of my hand.
It's always sweet to see another sled be saved and back out and it was only 300 bucks can't beat it bro now I know why you save all your parts I do that then I get in that mood and I just clear house and then I save up on parts again just one of my things Good to see another video have a great one stay safe God bless
My 900 rmk had rtv silicone used in placed of the outer head gasket on the mag side. It just goes to show you that the previous rebuild was halfass done.
@AKproXR you are living the dream man! I cannot wait to be doing this, good job man its so satisfying to see you have your parts to just slap on and away you go
Love the content just ripped my 03 attic cat f5 sno pro today, first season with it beautiful shape, it’s stupid fast man. I’m only 15 own 2 sleds myself
To make sure the Oil/water pump belt was good is to drill an inspection hole to put a screw driver down in there or every 4 years change the belt regaurdless.
Huge question I gotta xc 700 sp with a 600 motor big bore into it an my air boots that connects to the “boosted bottle are ducked it just don’t connect.. can I run it without the boost bottle an leave the 2 wholes on the intake boots wide open till my new one come inthe mail? Wanna know cause we have snow rn n I haven’t rode it mush
Disconnect the boost bottle, You must plug the holes up otherwise the sled wont start or will run super lean and destroy the engine Go to the hardware store and get (2) plastic pvc caps (i believe 3/4 inch o.d.) and shove them down in the carb boots where the boost bottle plugged in and put a clamp on each one. Should get ya by until the new ones show up I personally would not run a boost bottle, i had one for years and ran into the exact same problem, my 600 liberty runs just fine without one
I missed the video where you explain why you are organizing (warehousing :-) shelves of 700 parts… are they for sale or is this a problem? Haha not that there’s anything wrong with that. Luv the frikin videos.
I have a question I am New to the sled world bought a cheap 01 700rmk but exhaust leaks like a sieve when I look on line there is no direct fit I can find to replace is there a go to for this problem? Will any pipe fit? Any help would be appreciated hanks in advance.
Buy one that needs work in the spring for a good price, then spend all summer going through the suspension, change out the bearings rebuild the shocks go through the engine, electrical etc.. replace one thing at a time, by the next winter you will have a nice reliable machine and you bought the parts over time so it doesn't hurt the pocketbook as much. Then you can go for a ride 30 miles into nowhere and feel safe.
So, you're slapping this thing back together with bailing wire and zero love or fucks given. Gonna slap some lipstick on it and sell it of at full market value to some poor guy that don't know any better who's trying to enter the sport for the first time. Classy.

You need to keep the rmk, like actually keep and use it! It would be awesome to see another rmk like you had a few years back in the videos again!
" That AInt Gonna Fuckin Work" LMFAO
Thanks for keeping it real, you're a natural behind that camera.

We just got our first snow today in northern Michigan and I went riding all day
Nice sled, definitely going to be a pretty good flip. I'm so ready for some deep snow! Lol
Love the vids thanks for posting
I welded my shaft for oil pump to close the gap. Light would come on at idle. Haven't had a problem since.

Can you do a video showing the prep and case sealing on the reinstall if not already done by the time we are seeing this video

If only I lived in the valley, I'd be the kid who'd love to fix those things.

Not a Polaris fan, but I enjoy your videos!
How do you replace the water pump seal??
Howwww 😭😭😭😭 people in the valley be asking 1k for blown up shit rn
Same here in new England. Fn ridiculous.
Do you have any tips or tricks for ski alignment on a gen 2 chassis? Wondering if there's an easier way than the way I've been doing it.
My god we can't even buy that seat for 300 here in MN.
I gotta jump on the deals when I can!
How come we haven’t seen any riding videos yet this year?
There’s almost no snow and consistently been bellow zero outside. Anyone riding doesn’t give a shit about their sleds
I can’t wait to get my 95 650 rxl running again
bro its so cold up here im going to just send it and try going sledding this sunday
Is name of the game Flip it Looks like you got a little snow Let's see you rip it Before you flip it keep them coming love the Channel
If you need any more of them gas guages and a clean seat cover to that year I've got some in Anchorage. I'd let go of for a decent price.
Ide love for you to get a 600-700 rmk sks switchback edge from the early 2000s til 05 and do some riding on one
I have in the past, have some videos of my old 05 rmk 700 on here
Your at the point where you need a warehouse for your parts and sleds 👍😎
We need AKProXR merch!
Like how do U make money fixing all these junk sleds
You fix them, then sell them. Pretty simple. Lots of people do it.
Nice Score. The Muff Pot is worth $300 alone. lol
🤣🤣
This the one on Craigslist
Man I would love to come learn how to work on those sleds they’re my favorite
Grab a shop manual and tear into them, they are for the most part really simple to work on, nothing more satisfying than fixing your own stuff

hey, my sled is exactly like this (year, hood, motor, seat, ect) but it an sks t what are the differents between them?
Track and minor suspension differences. Otherwise same sled
@@AKproXR oh good didn't know
It’s never as easy as you’d like
Ouch that is one pooched head gasket
Keep it
Nah
Thats a steal for 300
