My favorite story of the lost years of Jesus is the one that says that He was a Merchant Marine working on one of Joseph of Aramathea's ships. That would explain why He wasn't in the area, also John the Baptist and Jesus were cousins but they didn't recognize each other at first, had Jesus been in Nazareth He would have known his cousin. Joseph of Aramathea was Mary's uncle, was a very wealthy shipping tycoon who hauled tin from England to Rome. Part of the story is that one year a young man and his mother got off a ship, stayed in England where the boy built them a hut to live in. Long shot but I like it.

As to where Christ spent some of his time in so called Lost Years, there is a simple answer that has been over looked by a great many. That would be his last words before his death. according to Matthew and Mark, when a sponge saturated with posea was put to his lips: "Eli, Eli, lamah saachthani" Matthew saw it one way and Mark saw it another way. For he spoke pure Maya "Hele, Hele lamah zabac ta ni" "Now, Now, I am fainting; darkness cover my face" or in Johns words " it is done". Christ was the prophet sent by the Father to speak his words. Seek the full truth, love one another. As I read the comments I see many who are not humble and they carry pride with them. Woe unto them.

Jesus was born in 5BC there was a Comet that lasted 70 days starting on 10th of March till May the 19th . The family had to leave because of two false Messiahs having been killed by the Romans. Herod the Great died in 4BC so the Jesus story fits in with the bible . Jesus started schooling at the age of 6 and lasted till he became a man at the age of 12 . From the age of 12 to 18 he learned a trade from his foster father. Once he was 18 he went back to the Temple to become a Rabbi so 12 years of learning the Torah and medical science becoming a minister of male rituals . Luke mentioned the 15th year of Tiberius which started from 12AD two years of two Emperor's so 27AD Jesus was 30 years old working backwards it comes to 5BC his date of birth. Tiberius started to reign from 14AD and the 16th year was 30AD the year of crucifixion. So historical evidence matches .

Occam's Razor: the simplest answer is most likely the correct one. Yeshua was very knowledgeable of the Torah. To gain this knowledge, it is most likely he spent the "lost years" studying under someone of the stature of Nicodemus. Once he finished his studies, he was ready to begin His ministry and fulfill His destiny.

Jesus would have gone to jewish school, if He had not it would have been unusual enough to be mentioned. These are all cultural references. Their surprise at his wisdom lets us know that He did not pursue what would be considered 'higher' education. At age 13 a jewish boy would become a full member of the community at his bar mitzvah (a man) and unless they were accepted by a rabbi would end their schooling at this point. Of the poorer families or for students who were deemed particularly inept they may have left school even sooner. But all would have received a basic education.

You’re correct that the term traditionally translated as "carpenter" in reference to Joseph and Jesus might not convey the full scope of their occupation. Here's a detailed explanation: The Greek word τέκτων (tekton) is the term used in the New Testament to describe Joseph’s and, by extension, Jesus’ trade (Mark 6:3 and Matthew 13:55). While "carpenter" is the most common English translation, tekton has a broader meaning. It can refer to a craftsman, builder, or artisan-essentially someone skilled in construction or working with materials such as wood, stone, or even metal.

I believe that Jesus spent the lost years travelling in the East, where he was influenced by Buddhist philosophy - a whole new departure for his people - spiritual growth through forgiveness and kindness - deep reflection, dying to your old harmful habits and rising to new life. “ I am the way”, he said meaning the Universal and personal “ I “. One gets to God through a good heart. It’s simple and profound.
Also, there are records of a man like him travelling in Northern India.

Jesus pre-existed with the Father from the beginning of time. Read Genesis and the Gospel of John. He was Holy Spirit filled as evidenced by the healings and many miracles. He was sent to do the will of God, reveal the Father and tell about salvation and the Kingdom of Heaven. These things he did not learn from the Buddhist’s who had a vastly different philosophy developed by a mere mortal.

There are many inexplicable clues documented in the book suggesting that Jesus was in Scotland at some point. There's a very simple explanation as to what Jesus did until he started his ministry.
As there is no future mention of Joseph after he was 12, most likely he died when Jesus was a teen. As the oldest child with younger bothers and sisters, Jesus carried on the support for his family as a carpenter. He would have done so all the while studying much like we do today where we work and study the scripture. Perhaps a certain amount of time was taken away from work and the family prior to beginning his ministry wherein he did what was necessary for that beginning.

I can prove my case because the very answer is in the scriptures, but these are my premise.
      1. The People of Nazareth knew Jesus' and his family since he was young.
In the New Testament, Mark chapter 6 v 1-3
" Jesus left there and went to his hometown accompanied by his disciples, when the Sabbath came, he began to teach in the synagogue and many heard him were amazed, they asked "What's this wisdom that has been given to him, that he even does miracles, Isn't this the carpenter? Isn't this Mary's son and the brother of James, Joseph, Judas and Simon? Aren't his sisters here with us? And they took offence to him. This is clear they knew him all his life but can't fathom how he's performing all these miraculous signs because it was from God not the Tripitaka.
      2. Joseph and Mary were too poor a family to take their (many)children to trips(vacations) to any where let alone India.
In the book of Luke 2 vs 22-24 it is clear that Jesus was the firstborn in his family, Joseph took Mary to the temple of Jerusalem to consecrate him to God to fulfill the law of Moses now there was a purification ceremony that was observed for the mother for 40 days after the birth of a son, because the mother was deemed unclean and couldn't enter the temple(Leviticus 12:1-8) now the parent was to present a lamb and a dove or a pigeon for an offering but if the lamb was too expensive, the parent will present a second dove or pigeon instead which was what Joseph and Mary presented.
      3. The Ridicule of Jesus' brothers during the feast of tabnernacles, now this is in John 7:1-8 this is clear that from the verse 7 that" "The world cannot hate you but it hates me because I teach that it's ways are bad" doesn't that go against Buddhism?
      4. The transfiguration of Jesus, God spoke from the clouds telling the disciples this was his son so they should listen to him, if Jesus stole teachings of Buddhism and Hinduism then you mean Buddha is the son of God, so will the pantheons of Hinduism which is a fallacious.

@@jolo5816 Yes you are half right, His physical attribute he has to learn baby steps just like us but his consciousness and spiritually He was divine. He was a son of man, that is, a human being. And he is the Son of God, in that he has always existed as the Eternally Begotten One who comes forth from the Father forever. He always has, and he always will. He is the Second Person of the Trinity with all of the divine nature fully in him. For Jesus to be human, He has to feel heartache when His foster dad Joseph died and His friend Lazarus. Pain when he was flogged and crucified, also grief to see humans suffer prosecutions and abandonment. He has to experience thirst and hunger and exhaustion so that Jesus as God witness in the flesh what it is like to live in a fallen world...

What Happened During Jesus' 'Lost Years' (Luke 2:42; 3:23)?
At the time Herod ordered all the young boys in Bethlehem to be slain, Joseph took Mary and Jesus and fled into Egypt. When the danger was past, they returned to their own country and settled in a town in Galilee: "And he [Joseph and his family] came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, 'He shall be called a Nazarene' [one who comes from Nazareth]" (Matthew 2:23).
From Nazareth, they would all travel to Jerusalem each year for the Passover. On one of those occasions, when He was 12, Jesus stayed behind in the Temple. Afterward, "He went down with them [His family] and came to Nazareth, and was subject to them" (Luke 2:51). So, Jesus evidently spent most of those years in Nazareth. Otherwise, people would not have known Him as a Nazarene.
After He was 30, Jesus preached in the synagogue in His home town: "So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up" (Luke 4:16). Notice the reaction of the townspeople: "So all . . . marveled at the gracious words which proceeded out of His mouth. And they said, 'Is this not Joseph's son?" (verse 22). The people knew Him! This is confirmed when, on a similar occasion, in astonishment they said, "Where did this Man get this wisdom and these mighty works? Is this not the carpenter's son? Is not His mother called Mary? And his brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas? And His sisters, are they not all with us?'" (Matthew 13:54-56). The people knew His whole family, as this was Jesus' "own country" (verse 54; Luke 4:24).
Obviously, Jesus spent most of those 18 years between ages 12 and 30 in Nazareth where He was trained and where He studied. Whether or not He traveled to any foreign nation is not revealed in Scripture.

The modern Bible is only silent on Jesus from age 12 to 30 because of all the 'boys club's' cut, chop, replace, and paste !! After comparing religions in India, the written accounts of His life in the monasteries, and comparing beliefs with the Bible, you greatly see these ancient spiritual beliefs and teachings of the time from India replayed in the Bible through the life, teachings, and sayings of Jesus coupled with the teachings of the Torah and the Prophets ! He took parts of those ancient India beliefs and developed them in understanding with/by the Holy Spirit and then focused on what was true about each belief and teaching to develop the Way and doing them blazed a spiritual path to the Father for rebirth and became the First to be the Author and Finisher of our faith and First to be born again before the Father in Heaven. I have sermons on this fascinating discovery of the TRUE Christian life.

Holy Spirit of God has recorded what is considered necessary. For God, there is no need to give a detailed account of His Son's earthly life. He was sent for a purpose, and He finished that work.

During the time of Jesus, it would have been difficult for him to travel thousands of Miles… therefore Jesus had to teleport from One place to another and return to his disciples within hours or minutes and they would never had known that he was on the other side of the Planet 🌍
