- The 'lost years' (also called silent years, unknown years, or missing years) of Jesus generally refers to the period of Jesus's life between his childhood and the beginning of his ministry, a period not described in the New Testament. Theories have emerged that Jesus visited India (and Nepal) for spiritual enlightenment during that period. Though modern mainstream Christian scholarship has generally rejected these theories, the findings of Mr. Richard Bock, a movie maker who created many films on Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, are truly eye-opening and compelling. Let us join him on a journey across India, from the north to the south, west to the east, in the 1960s and 1970s, to unravel the mystery of Saint Isa whose life and message bear an uncanny resemblance to Lord Jesus.

Richard Bock joined Indra Devi in India for Baba’s forty-third birthday in November 1968, and returned with eight millimetre film and the recordings of Baba which became the LP entitled, Sathya Sai Baba Chants the Bhajans.
Richard Bock was the Founder-President of Pacific Jazz and World Pacific Records. Through a long personal and professional relationship with Pandit Ravi Shankar, the world renowned sitar maestro, Mr. Bock was instrumental in introducing classical Indian music to large audiences in the West. He has produced several films on Sathya Sai Baba.
This film 'The Lost Years' was made in 1977.

A remarkable parallel in "The Adam and Eve Story". I find it comforting that our Lord never thought that his Father had abandoned Him.
Not lost years. It is what they wanted for the reader when they compiled the Bible. They picked and choosed .
It would be awesome to see a modern movie in 2024 to show the lost years of Christ (Saint Issa) travelling east into India! That would be an amazing movie or documentary!
There was most certainly an incarnation of ' God ' in the 20th century - Sri Ramana Maharshi of Arunachala . His humility , His non attachment to material things , His love for All ( people and animals bith ) , His deep understanding of scrioture , His profound unigue utterances , the power of His Mouna , His absolute integriry , are all just some of the many qualities He exhibited . He also had a great love of Christ and often mentioned important quites from the Bible like ' The Kingdom of Heaven is within you ' or ' Before Abraham was , I Am ' . 🙏✝️🕉️

This can't be right - Jesus was in Cornwall and Glastonbury in West UK when he was 12 years old. He came to Great Britain by boat from Palestine with his uncle - Joseph of Aramethia - a tin merchant. They visited the Tin Mines of Cornwall - signing the Guest-Book.

You'll always comfortable with the religion you brought up with. Very few ever understand or even bother to read the other prospectives yet judge and make once own decisions. Someone else wrote something many many years after the deaths of a who they belived to be truth. Understanding of surroundings and references would be very deferent to today. They lack technological advancements, education etc. yet all the religions succeed in gathering large groups of people devoted with blind faith sadly.

Even without the eastern historical evidence the fact that the teachings of Jesus are more buddhist than Jewish and there were already buddhist missionaries in Egypt during Jesus's time it seems obvious what Jesus was doing during his missing years

I grew up as a strict Southern Baptist in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas. I worked in Saudi Arabia for few years before moving to Thailand. I Practiced Buddhism for 24 years before declaring Jesus Christ as my Savior and my return to God.

If this jesus reached the highest powers of yoga attainment, then , to perform all these miracles sttributed to him , then where are these living yoga sages and masters today ? If you read the supposed translation of Scrolls of Issa and his adventures that was recorded by the monks themselves during his stay in India and let us assume it is real, in that scroll Issa explicitly says that reincarnation/incarnation is not real and will never be. Nor idol/animal worshipping and human worshipping. Nor human sacrifices and division among men. Rather that they must stop or judgement will be upon them. All the teachings of Issa of India were exactly in line with those we find in the bible. Apparently Issa was, just as was in the bible to the Priest of Jews, against ALL the teachings around there - this includes hindus, zoroastrians, buddhists and so on; and they were trying to kill him. He found refuge in the high mountain among the monks where he studied ALL of their theology. To which Issa concluded are all wrong. presumably recorded and documented by the monks. This explains why the monks won't let the world see those scrolls. Because even though the one point in the contents of Mossa (Moses) seems to contradict the Bible funnily enough it does not with Issa. And just as Philippians 2:11 wrote that every tongue will confess, even in these scrolls it is written that he is the BEST OF THE SON OF MAN, THE BLESSED ONE. Even the Chief Monk during this time viz the discovery of the scroll, confess that Issa is the one above all the Buddhas that have reincarnated. And every teachings/words of Issa we found in the scroll does not differ as written in the bible. They claim to have taught Issa yet every teachings of Issa they themselves recorded contradicts their believes. On the contrary, Issa warned of them and their believes. Hence, even IF Issa was indeed Jesus they have added to suppose and confused people into believing their teachings which Issa did not.
