My tattoos would give my family closure because they'd know what happened to me. But if an untattooed person gets hacked up and scattered they might never be identified because they look generic. Same with if somebody were to rob you and they have purple hair in a particular style versus a guy with generic medium brown dad hair. Who do you think is going to be caught first? Its the same principle. The more unique your look is, the more identifiable you are. Even if lots of people follow that trend (like having purple hair or getting tattoos in general) they still make up a minority of society and are rarely exactly the same. So i really don't understand the argument that you're more unique if you don't have tats.
