Bro this was the best explanation for using dynamic eq. And I hear 👂 the movement in the dynamic eq over the static… it’s like a feeling that just feel good…
That’s absolutely fine! I chose to do 2 in this case, but it’s not uncommon to make every band or more than 2 bands dynamic. Use your ears and judgement as always and choose what sounds best
Thanks for the useful information. But I did not expect to hear a vocalist who sings 3 notes and even then with tuning ((We would be just ashamed to show this (((

could you make a video about mixing background vocals? i struggle with that sometimes and your videos are so helpful
Yup! It’s high on the list! I just need a good session to use as an example. Hoping to have one put together within the next month 🤞🏼
What's the difference between a dynamic e q and a multi band compressor?
Very good info 👍
Very concise video. Thanks for posting.
this guy isn't too good at writing lyrics I think. Fair play to you for putting up with this shit and mixing it.
Thanks, informative and useful tips!
hi 5piece, how do you mix huge bass but still want to retain the kick intensity?
Best Dynamic Eq is Soothe 2
Is it okay to make every eq band dynamic or just the two you did?
