Excellent video as always, might I suggest a bread knife for the butternut squash as it will cut it much easier, the 7.62 rounds were a bit clumsy because they are too heavy for the gun, the other two performed very well and would hit more accurately if you used a red dot sight.
Thank you as always my friend! On the accuracy, I’m afraid it’s not an aiming issue. I think it’s a combination of awkward trigger + recoil + short barrel that make the projectiles fly all over the place. I mean, always close to target, but with way too many misses. Very good idea on the bread knife, not as cool looking, but 😜

It would’ve been very interesting, I agree. If they fitted in the smaller HDR 50 magazine. This ammo was specifically made to fit the larger Mercury Rise mag :)
Congrats brother. Came across your channel a couple months ago really love your work. I think the 762 needs a longer jacket. Compared to the other 2, the projectile part sticks out past the jacket a lot more. It's causing immelmanns and barrel rolls all the way to the target.

Happy 100th Anniversary, Airgun Alley! Great job, Gian! Congratulations! Interesting performance by the Cododos; didn't expect the 9mm to be the more effective slug. As others have commented, the 7.62 were visibly tumbling, hitting the pumpkin sideways, so it seems to have weight and aerodynamics issues. Btw, what are those Gnomes doing this Xmas? Hi my friend! You can always find all the links in the pinned comment of all my videos :) The platform here doesn’t like links to “gun” related material in the description…
I think these long projectiles stagger instead of flyin straight. Some of them hit the target with the side not with the tip. Round bullets are way more accurate.
Another EPIC intro with a great 100 video. Awesome work man. Congratulations. I'll ask Keanu Reeves to join one of your future videos. I'm sure the result will get a movie award.
Hahahahaha oh man thank you so much!! I can’t hide that I’m getting a growing desire to make a 100% cinematic video at some point. But it’s quite hard when you’re… one person! So if you could kindly ask Keanu, that would truly be amazing ahahahah
hello friend..nice video.. It was obvious that the speed of the bullets would be slow due to their weight. But what do you think about the idea of drilling into 9mm bullets and placing a primer at the end? However, I think the speed of the bullets is enough to explode the primer you placed on the tip when they hit the target. I imagine the pumpkin will break into many pieces when it explodes..
when that squash tipped over its like your shooting at sloped armor like the soviet t-34 tank in WW2 projectiles bounce off because of the angle also sloped adds to the thickness of the skin making it harder to penetrate so that was unfair. and what would make your videos cooler is to pick up a high speed camera if its within your budget lets see what's happening in slow motion. also I have some great ideas about starting a LTL air gun and ammo company with 3D printers now I am originally from Texas and your in Florida so I already have a name for the air gun we can make FLORTEX AIR GUNS FLOR FLORIDA TEX TEXAS FLORTEX AIR GUNS AND AMMO I will have my people contact your people to get this new air gun company going.
Accuracy? LMAO. The 7.62 are just too heavy for a short barrel gas gun, and no rifling means it will tumble upon leaving the barrel. I've tried steel-core ball ammo and powder torpedos, and neither justifies the laser I've got bolted to the lower rail. I'd like to see how a .50 cal Diablo-shaped slug compares for accuracy, since that seems to be the shape that works best in a smooth bore. Perhaps a head to head contest of all the TR50 "long ammo" against nylon and steel core balls, using a shooting stand or rigid bracket would determine if air pistol accuracy is a complete myth.
This gun is advertised as a less than lethal weapon. But with the bullets that can penetrate a hard shell squash and even a tin can, seem to be more than lethal, and can get some one into a whole lot of trouble...Impressive to say the least on the 9mm bullet, but its a bullet that might even kill some one and land you in jail, no?
Hi my friend and great question. I would say, this gun could, in very rare circumstances, be deadly. Unlike a firearm which is most likely deadly. Thick clothing, for example, will almost stop the bullets at those speeds. But if you are at very close range and hit a soft spot in someone’s head, then indeed it can be dangerous. The goal of these is to produce a lot pain, so much so to deter someone from stepping one step closer, without killing them…
