No, fat doesn't move to a different part of the body. An old myth is that you can suck the fat out in one place and it will go to another place. That's simply not true. The truth is that the fat just comes. When one gains weight, the fat will go to the areas not worked on and won't be held in as well from scar tissue in areas not worked on. Therefore, it appears that the fat went somewhere else. The best prevention for that is to not gain the weight.
I wish there was a better way to make the breast more even or slightly bigger and have it better than fat grafting results. I just wish that we can do fat donation for another person who has more fat and who is a relative. Please let me know if they’re doing research on donation with family member

The number of plastic surgeons who have truly mastered this procedure is really low. I agree that the skill in liposuction is also pretty horrific. Most of the disasters I end up managing have been disfigured from the liposuction esp lower extremities

Double bubble is the result, either of low implant placement or a differential of the quality of tissue at the dome of the breast versus the base. Frequently, it’s the latter and frequently it goes unrecognized even by plastic surgeons. The ladder is corrected by reducing the size of the skin envelope.
Can patients doing this procedure pre-select the areas of their body they would like to have fat grafted from? Is there a limit to areas that can be picked? Thanks!

I have Poland's syndrome and I'm left side affected. I have a implant in my left breast and augmentation of the right breast. I have been looking into this fat transfer bc I am tired of continuing of maintenance as with weight gain and loss my right breast has to be continuous in augmentations. Should I even consider this procedure? It's either this or going and having my right breast reduced and a implant placed so no more augmentations. I think it all depends on where you have the most fat and how many fat you have on those places.

the scars normally are almost invisible due to how the fat is placed and harvested. They are like tiny dots.
