    As a 25 year old girl with no interest in football a couple years ago I never thought I’d be spending my Mondays like this 😂 Always loved watching the bears growing up but mainly just for football parties - never actually cared about understanding football until last year. On the 4th and 1 speed option, Caleb said that there was a check built into the play if they didn’t get the 6-1 defensive look they were expecting to see based on film study. However, they broke the huddle with around 10 seconds on the playclock so there was nowhere near enough time to change the play at the line on 4th and goal. That needed to be a coach recognizing the play was screwed and calling timeout from the sideline. Instead Eberflus put the blame on his players in the post game press conference. Can’t have that.

    • @jiordone8563
      @jiordone8563 5 дней назад +5

      Honestly, just have Caleb fake the run and keep it himself running outside and he probably walks into the end zone or dumps it off to a wide open TE. It's obvious the Bears can't run the ball right now, so why try to punch it in 4 plays in a row? Bears score there, it's a different game that they probably win.

    • @duvolthompson1705
      @duvolthompson1705 5 дней назад +11

      @@jiordone8563 The Bears aren't trying to run though. And they need to use Roschob. Roschon had 8 for 30. If you just feed him more, and run on the interior, you'd have a more balanced running game. Swift goes down immediately on any contact. The Bears can't have a rookie Qb throw 52x in a game which was basically a 1 score game the whole time.

      That sequence of plays alone is a fireable offense. Not that anyone should or would be fired. And Flus had to make sure we come away with a TD. Him not getting involved with Shane is why I believe he’s a great DC and not a HC

    Good breakdown, as usual. Reminder, Eberflus: 1) claims to sit in on the offensive (pun intended) meetings; 2) wears a headset. So he knows what's in the playbook, hears the calls being made, yet, as a DC, has allowed those crapass plays to not only exist, but to be called? He's as much to blame as Waldron. I'd also bet at sometime during the season, if the offense continues to suck, either CW and/or his dad will have words with Ryan Poles about the coaching staff and insist changes be made, no later than after the season.

    I am so glad you showed the play in the second part were he spins out and hits Kmet in the center. Those are the types plays we saw in college. He’s so accurate to not use more of the free lance plays with structured plays, his receivers run plays structurly if that’s a word, and spins out of where he is and knowing where they’re going to be and he hits him downfield regardless of the line structure.

    Now go watch Jayden Daniels. Is he going to be another rookie exception like Stroud?

    The story in Chicago seems to be on the 4th and 1 that the playcall got there late, Williams knew it was defeated by look but didn't feel like he had time to switch at the line. Someone has to call time-out there, whether it by Williams or the sideline.

      this guy literally makes his money from fans wanting their QB to be great. pretty far from "real" unbiased breakdowns.

      @TB17- he breaks down the all 22 and calls CW out for bad plays and shows why it was bad. Unlike mainstream, who will pick their darling heroes weekly and flip on em the next. His content is just breakdown, not click bait, that is not a bias but a fact of what went down.
