"What's keeping Mayfield in TB with Canales gone?"
One thing to consider is Bucs brought in Liam Coen as new offensive coordinator ... he worked with Mayfield when both were with Rams.

Thank JESUS for Klint Kubiak. His wholr approach and demeanor is exactly what thr Saints have missed out on for years now.
Saints TE, Juwan Johnson is a beast. Planning and playcalling MADE HIM have a down year statistically. He did not regress in talent at all. His blocking is much better than the year before, and he was not featured much last year bc Olave at WR can be a woman emotionally.

AD Mitchell over brock bowers all day. Move Alec Pierce to #4 WR for strictly deep balls and play Mitchell at #2 WR spot. That would really open up the outside having a fluid route runner outside opposite MPJ. If we had a WR 2 that could catch in space and play more of an Aiyuk/YAC type role that would be ideal. I think Mitchell can fulfill a role like that in the NFL.

At WR with the Texans I feel we need the best route runner on the draft.CJ throws with a LOT of anticipation and needs to know that WR is going to go to where he is supposed to be.

Lol, you guys didn't fix the Falcons. I like your trade back after we agree to sign Cousins Monday, we need a qb with that pick or with the 2nd. Thinking Penix or Nix. We can select wr's, cb's and dl all the way through this draft, literally stacked. I like NT G Hall in the 5th and take QB Milton in the 6th for a practice squad project. We do need to adjust our oline due to scheme change but Mathews, Lindstrom and McGary were drafted by Quinn with Morris as our DC. We need a Center and another Tackle to tighten up the line along with our recent OT signing recently.
If we can trade back once or twice and add draft spots in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th rounds, we can plug a lotta holes this year.

Ross, why you gotta get our hopes up? We all already know he's gonna be there at 25 only for them to take a 3rd round linebacker like Payton Wilson. Seriously tho, this video has got me even more hyped for DeJean than I already was and I pray to God he makes it to 25 and Gutey pulls the trigger.

Tee higgins might be a counter productive transaction from the sense that if by any chance he doesn't fit the bill as a wr1, that The jags would in b2b offseasons pick up a dude that is thought to be a wr1 by heresay but never proved for a whole season on prior team that hes a #1. Them flashes in a pan come w great context. At least aj brown showed prior to being picked up he was a #1 on a contender for a whole season when healthy. I think jags should just get a vertical wide receiver like Brian thomas jr or adonai mitchell. 31 million is already alot between evan and christian. Parker washington will have a better year as well.

For ATL, if WRs are gone by 8 and we have our QB on-board then im looking at mini-Grady Jarrett, a.k.a. Byron Murphy or one of the OTs. Matthews, Jarrett, Onyemata, and even McGary are getting to the downslope of their careers while eating up tons of cap. ATL will have to pay Pitts, London, and Bijan in coming years -- so those cap numbers have to be changed elsewhere.

      @denniscarney5249 3 месяца назад

@set2877 I'm a firm believer in drafting from the strengths of the class. Address the areas not-so-great in the class via FA. So, correct, this year, I would not draft EDGE. The OTs who should be on the board at 8 grade out higher than Turner anyway.

Total straw man argument. Nobody is saying that Flaco is better than Mahomes. They're saying that Flaco had such a good run that if you're just comparing stats, he was similar to some top guys. By that measure, saying that Watson sucks because Flaco had a good run of games is ill-advised.

WTF are they talking about how was Bud Dupree a bad investment WTF in team stats bro tie in 1st in sacks with 6.5 was 3rd in TFL with 8 tied for 6th in pass deflection and tied 2nd for forced fumbles yes his tackles was low but thats because if you watch film he was the one causing all the qb pressures so yeah its kinda hard to be in the back field forcing the qb to throw or run then tryin to chase someone down who got 30 40 yards on you from a pass like be fr they have him labeled as LB but he literally played as an EDGE the hole year he had like 3 to 4 drop backs the hole season

Trevor Lawrence LOOKS like the guy but doesn't play like it. Eventually, you're going to need to speak of him like you just did Ridley.....good, but your team isn't quite there yet if HE'S your #1 option.

"WAR is generally pretty good ... at leading to wins."
Really? A statistic that ultimately always comes down to a guess is something we should go by?
I worked in MiLB. The fact of the matter is that Wins Above Replacement is a joke. Hell, in MLB, teams don't even all use the same formula to calculate it.
And I have a nagging idea that PFF has a tendency to occasionally tweak ITS formula (not exactly unusual when it comes to statistical models) after the fact to better fall in line with known results, so it's efficacy regarding being predictive is suspect on that grounds as well.
It may tell you SOMETHING, but the idea that it's a hard stat that actually predicts what it claims to predict is laughable. You don't need a background in sports statistics to realize that WAR is something you can't quantify. You just need common sense.
    Take care.
