I cant wait to get mine! I was torn between going with another rallz or trying out the adventure front. Now, i cant wait to try this tire! It sounds like the perfect in-between that a lot of us big adventure guys want out of a set of tires.
It is a pretty sweet tire and my full review of it will be coming out in just two weeks. I think it is a homerun tire but I am not too much a fan of the "flip." I think I will run it a single direction until it is worn out, then swap it out for a freshie. More on that in the full review.
Hey Kyle new subscriber, just in the process of picking out some 50/50 tires for my Honda crf1100 dct and you’ve pretty much sold me on the motoz line. Thanks a bunch
I’m having the Tractionator DV + Tractionator ADV installed on my KTM 890 ADV R next week in final prep for my trip on the TAT. I’m super stoked! Ride safe y’all!
Another amazing Motoz video Kyle! Excellent information that has me thinking about pairing the DV tire with the Rallz rear on my T-700. Seems like an excellent front tire for a BDR route where there's extended pavement to and from the route, and will provide Rallz type off-road performance on the route. Thank you for moving this video earlier in the series. I'm excited to see how well this DV tire will work on my T-700.
GPS and TKC80 on an 1190R. Where I am at is dry and rocky and this combo is great. It is ok on steepish and loose climbs but I wouldn't want to aim for that all the time. I would not want it in the mud. Sand is ok. A dream on the highway connecting forest roads and for doing big miles. I wish the tkc80 had a bit more stiffness in the sidewall to protect the rim. Look forward to trying this.
You described it to a T. This DV answers the issues you described in the TKC80. If Conti "revised" the TKC80 this is what I would imagine to to be like...
Kyle, you mention at the start about the difference in pattern that makes it bi-directional and contrast against the RallZ. The thought that comes to mind is really about how well the tread clears out as a result.. It's all good when it's dry, but there's no value having a close-to-knobby that clogs up to become a slick the moment you hit some clay/mud. I went through a flash storm with some riding buddies a little while ago and my RallZ front was the only one that made it through the sudden mud slick.
The RallZ is a high performance dirt tire for sure. It works really well in most all off-road situations. The Dual Venture is really unique in the way that the lugs have been shaped allowing it to have "great character" both directions. I would be interested in a side by side DV vs. RallZ in the mud test. Do you have predictable mud where you live? I get it like 4 times a year ;)
@@manybikes hah. I try to avoid mud as best as possible on a big bike (Tiger 900). 90% of my dirt riding is hard pack dual trail and rock/shale with distance in between rather than super-technical terrain. Definitely a dirt focus, but not Enduro-style. I think the DV is going to be a great option and the reduction in tyre wail will be welcome. I appreciate your focus on getting the right 'compromise' in choosing a tyre. It's a pity there's so few quality reviews of the DV so far! I've just managed to get myself the DV/ADV pair so hopefully I'm out in the bush this weekend for some non-scientific braap testing.
Went ahead and pre-ordered, I think this is just what I was looking for putting it on my V-Strom 1000XT. Going to pair it with a Motoz Tractionator Adventure in the rear. Hopefully they will get decent mileage and do well in the Florida sand.
I absolutely love this tire, I have 1800 miles on it now and it still looks like new. I've been in the smokey mountains on paved roads wet and dry, gravel mountain roads, as well as a lot of Florida sand. They run smooth and have tons of traction in all situations. Absolutely amazing!
@@carls.8904 I still love them, and currently I have 4500 miles on them. Just reversed the front probably should have done that about a 1000 miles ago but didn't really have any issues with it, it just started cupping a little. I'm thinking I should get 7 to 8k miles out of them. I do my share of off-road with them in the Florida sand and have no issues. They also feel good on the street.
Really like the Tractionator ADV tires . Had the stock Tenere tires swapped out for them . I guess in a year I will be ready for one of those new ones . Oops forgot my bike in the driveway , probably wet from our summer fog drizzle . Never been this bad in all my years living here . Killed most my tomatoes .
Wondering how the 90/90-21 Tractionator DV is true to size. seems small on this video. I have found the TKC80 (90/90-21) and most DOT tires (90/90-21) in that tire spec seems a little a little narrow as compared to most 90/90-21 non DOT knobby tires. This makes for scary performance in deep sand with 300-500 pound dual sport ADV bikes. Skinny tires sink pretty quickly in deep sand with heavy bikes. With over 55 years of off road experience I used to race MX and D37 desert on lightweight 500cc 2T dirt bikes. Won many races. When you get into the zone things slow down and you gain confidence at break-neck speeds. Haven't experienced this with any heavy ADV bike. Not even close. Skinny front tires aggravate the problem with heavy ADV bikes at any speeds. If you you don't know what i am referring to as "being in the zone" please don't bother to respond. Thx
Very interesting… I’ve been in the zone many times. I think the biggest difference is the bikes in question. Our big heavy ADV bikes vs a 500cc 2T and the tires being “similar in size” I think that is the biggest issue. The TKC80 and the Tubeless version DV are very similar in size. The tube type version of the 90/90-21 is skinnier and has a more “dirt bike style” knob pattern. The Tubeless are much bigger than the Tube Type.
Ok, my first set of Dual Venture has had 4k miles on it when I flipped it and the wabble was horrible for at least 500-700 miles. You don't want to wait this log so as soon as you notice one side of the knobs wears lower than the other (a.k.a. cupping), flip the other way and be done with to avoid the wabble.
What's Up Sir! I totally agree! I have almost 7k on the DV on the 1190 now and I should have swapped it 2k miles ago. Now the cupping is so bad I have reached the wear bars. IF I WOULD have swapped it at 5k ... I know I would have been able to get 9 or 10K out of it. Pretty freaking impressive. BUT... that "ski slope" tread pattern when first flipped is SKETCHY at best. It needs like 500 miles of freeway to "tame the beast" and make it "like new" again.
I love it! So... you were playing "I Spy" in the garage eh? Yes, that TY250 is SO fun! I bought it in San Francisco, loaded it onto a trailer behind my Goldwing... towed to Donner for an AHRMA Trials Event - Rode my FIRST EVER Trials competition, placed... the bike vibrated SO bad on decel... 3 of the 4 motor mounts were broken off! Stripped it down... Re-built it... Check it out here: facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151118754826871&type=3 So fun!
@@manybikes man ur the only reason I found these tires from ur videos I came for the k60 and am so blow away by the motoz they may be more pricey but are so much better in the dirt on the curves and wayyyy better in the rain thank you for all u do here on RUclips for us adv boys
I love my Rallz H/T tires, but I hate the head shake it causes on the front end on the highway. I am super excited to check this tire out and see if it can solve my problems but still give me good bite in the dirt.
Hi Kyle, I'm loving your adventure tyre reviews, and in particular those for the new Motoz Tractionator Rallz and Dual Venture combo, which sounds perfect for my Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro. Gonna order those at the earliest opportunity, cos my OEM Bridgestone A41's just don't cut it on the trails. Keep up the great work!
Glad you like them! When you are ready to order, let me know on IG and I will see what I can do for you. That combo on the 900 Rally Pro will be amazing!
One flaw I see is the knobs aren’t staggered and you’ll loose directional control in the mud or sand. I think I’ll stick with my original plan of using a Rally up front.
I ran tractionators adv, the rear is great the front cupped and was generally unstable at speed was glad to remove it, it was done in a few thousand miles. I kept the rear hoping to find a better front for road riding, it looks like it might have arrived. I hope.
100% better than the Rallz. I’ve run the Tuneless and the Tube Type. Both are fantastic for different applications. The Rallz was really squirmy and had “death wobbles” and the DV I can ride up to 150 mph without a wiggle. That’s the street… in the dirt the Tubeless is close to the RallZ but the Tube Type is better than the RallZ. I’ve got #shorts videos on both. If coming off the RallZ, You’ll be Impressed.
@@manybikes appreciate quick reply and yeh AV will be my next tyre thanks again and yeh mate do appreciate all the effort you put into your research in your videos Safe riding
This is a really cool tire by Motoz, thanks for the review and let us know how it does once you flip it to the other side. I still have the TKC80 up front and a Tractionator Adventure in the back and I might go with this one for the front once the TKC80 wears out.
Dan how do you find that combo? I have a set of the tractionator adventure’s to go on my Africa Twin, but I also have a tkc80 front that I was going to pair with the adventure rear. Curious to hear some feedback and/or why you went with that combo?
@@owenlushadv Its not bad, I think it matches well with the Motoz Adventure rear. I just did it since my TKC80 rear wore out really quick (4000 kms) and I wanted a solid long lasting replacement.
@@AutoMan84 ah Ic. I ordered the tkc80 front as a backup plan lol I’d seen a couple reviews/videos online of guys who didn’t like the tractionator adv front on pavement at all Which to me is understandable, I wouldn’t expect it’s highway manners to be exceptional being a knobby, but if it were sketchy I’d have a plan B for the front lol (I run a lot of pavement due to where I live compared to where I like to ride the most off-road, but don’t mind sacrificing performance on road for an advantage in the dirt) .... this new tire will be included in my next combo for sure!
Thanks! Great question. I have not had it on many side hills yet but have gotten this question many times thus far. I will check it out. When I do the DV review I will compare it to the RallZ, the Adv, the Desert H/T and to the tire it was built to beat... the TKC80. Stay tuned!
I could not find detailed specs of the DV, weight, ply rating, tread depth ect. You state it has a flexible sidewall which is not a plus for allot of riders, and one of the issues people have with the tkc80. Ordered one to try. Thanks.
The full detailed breakdown video will be coming up at week 14 after I get some more miles on it. It’s the same as the other Motoz fronts… construction wise. Some struggles with mounting - I just wanted to let them know it wasn’t a problem.
Actually in this video you commented on, it’s the same tire and tread block spacing. Just looks different when worn. There are two versions of the 90/90-21 Tube type and Tubeless… and they are very different. Check this out: Motoz Dual Venture 90/90-21 What’s the Difference? Tube Type vs. Tubeless #shorts ruclips.net/user/shortsfYCnJqePftc?feature=share
Not liking how the nobs don’t wrap as far around the side of the tire. Reminds me of the 21” TKC80 (vs the same TKC80 in 19” where the tread wraps around the side for more stability in loose terrain.
Hey there! Still working on that days ride. Is there a certain section you’d like to see? I can pull it out. I’ve only posted the Kavanaugh Ridge section thus far… MUST SEE! Kavanaugh Ridge in the Humboldt Toiyabe National Forest ruclips.net/video/j3biHyhAdOs/видео.html
how does the street performance compare to the TKC 80 on road around 80 mph? I am riding Africa Twin 1100 dct. I have Motoz Rallz rear with TKC 80 front. the rear is great. the front is squirly at highway speeds above 80. seems ok in the dirt, not so great in the sand.
I had one of the 6 in North America and ran it on my 1200GSA withe RallZ on the back. After break-in of about 150 miles, it is the best off-road front I’ve ever run. Like the RallZ series it does not walk around when deep in the corners. It never once slipped or gave warning and I ran it all the way to the edge of tread on twisting roads, at speeds up to 100. Off-road it’s was exceptional on all surfaces. Sand, deep sand, deep ruts, embedded rocks, mud. Rode it all over Anza-Borrego, SoCal truck trails and Baja. Flipped direction at 3,600 miles and kept going. It is the only front tire I want to run now.
Check out this video of me on the DV tire: ruclips.net/video/HiWD9376mEs/видео.html I am rolling 100+ mph and tearing up the twisies at the end of the video. I find it to be much more stable than the TKC80 in corners and at high speeds.
@@manybikes Hello, I have the same motorcycle. How does the dual venture compare with the Desert HT in the front? On road and especially Off Road? Many people hate the Rallz in the front. But I want to put the Rallz in the rear. But I'm between the two previous tires in the front. Thank you.
Great review! That looks like a game changer tire! Will they make it in a 17” size for my DRZ400 SM? I’m currently running the TKC80 on the front and the Anakee Adventure on the rear.
Probably not... but I will put in the request. I have requested a 17" front for EACH of their tires when they have been released. This on the front of my Duke instead of the TKC80 would be amazing!
Currently running ax41 on the 2021 africa twin for true 50/50 riding. I am thinking about my next set for running the TAT. Would you switch over from ax41 to these DV's up front with rallz in rear? Will definitely be ordering either set from motocity !!
Thank you for your support. I think the AX41 is a little softer than this tire and give slightly better feedback from the road. Off-road I think the deeper blocks on this DV tire make it have better dirt manners than the AX41. Worth a shot, both are top options.
It is a very neutral feeling tire all around. This is a great all around tire that will "bring back to the fold" the TKC80 front tire guys. It works as I would have imagined on the street corners a little more stable than the TKC80 or the RallZ and I feel it is pretty close to the corner stability of the Adventure. In the dirt I'd rate it 10% dirtier than the Adventure and 10% More street oriented than the RallZ. Sand was good... no sidewinder action, straight as an arrow. I think it will be about the same mileage as the Adventure... It will wear quicker, but once you flip it, it will catch back up. Maybe an extra couple thousand over the RallZ front? We shall see. The tire in the video has over 2k miles on it... so it is doing well I'd say.
Quick question please - will the new DV tire track in rain grooves for front end wobble or will the new different tread pattern eliminate the wobble? Thanks for all the great informative videos!
In the 2k mile I have run on these tires I have not had any wobble. I think this tread pattern does not lend itself to the wobble we find on other tires.
@@manybikes Great information. Currently running tractionator front/rear on my 2012 1200 GS. Can get a little sketchy at speed on those grooves as you know. Already pre-ordered DV. I'm thinking Titus Canyon run as it will be getting cooler soon. I live in Henderson, NV. Thanks again! Ken
@@manybikes Cooler days late next month. Keep you posted. Thanks for responding. I'm originally from Socal. Know you from the other moto place. Keep up the great work!
Hey Kyle, quick Q; I’m a Motoz believer. I run the extreme hybrid on my moto’s and adv Tractionator on my adv. regarding the front tire, I’ve tried the adv and the rallz on the front of my adv bike and found they are so heavy it effects tip in, feel and unsprung weight/suspension. Feels like your riding with an aggressive steering stabilizer. That said, for my bike, the TKC80 is the only option, the way I “feel” it. In this vid you suggest the tire is lighter. I need a new front tire real soon and having been disappointed with the other two Motoz front 21” offerings, how would you compare the weight between the DV and 80? I weighed the Rallz vs the TKC80 and it was almost 3lbs heavier. Thank you for your vids. Always informative and helpful. Peace.
Great questions. I will need to put the DV on the scale but that is not possible at the moment as it is on my bike ;) I will do my best to get an answer to your weight question shortly... I do like the DV tire. I think it handles more like a "robust TKC80" than the other two tires, the RallZ and the Adv. Which Adventure Bike are you running? Sizes might be a factor in the turn in...
Dude... those trails on the Riding with RIdersRide Part 5 were SWEET! I want to go ride there!!! From the windscreen in your video ruclips.net/video/S4IDrUy3isU/видео.html ... you are on an F800GS? I would guess that you are running the Tube Type Motoz? If so... the Tubeless version is what I would recommend. It is built for wider front rims and maintains profile when mounted. The Tube Type tires flair out and flatten out causing the bike to turn like a truck, not a motorcycle. Just maybe?
Yeah Kyle, RidersRide is my buddy who lives over in the cascades WA. I’m out in Montana. That ultra green, Ferngully vibe is sweet. Not to mention the turf. That heavy loam is pretty cool. He’s got it pretty good over there. Nothing but rocks where I live. Anyhoo, interesting regarding the difference between TT and Tubeless and their profiles. I’m going to have to give that DV a try. At this point it’s hard to jump ship when you like what you’ve got. Admittedly I’ve been hoping for something like the DV from Motoz for a awhile. As always, thank you.
Trial and error my friend... Trial and error... You never know what your next favorite combo will be until you've tried a few bad apples. I can ride or put up with most... there have been half a dozen tires I have taken off after just a couple hundred miles as I just DID not like the way they felt nor could trust them to handle the way I needed. As compared to the TKC80, the DV is a pretty neat tire. I am curious to hear what the over 100 "die hard TKC80" guys who have ordered the DV tire from us think once they make the swap!!! Testing will be in full swing with some wild comparisons I am sure! My anticipation is mounting...
Aside from the ability to swap directions with the Dual Venture. I'm curious about the actual performance on-road and off-road of the Dual Venture compared to the standard Tractionator Adventure Front. Things like; road noise, off road grip, wet weather grip etc. Any data or experiences to report? Would you say it falls between the Adventure and the Rallz in terms of off road aggressiveness?
Here is my 3k review of the Dual Venture tire: ruclips.net/video/27SpF6NufXs/видео.html I think you will get a lot out of this video. You hit the nail on the head with the placement... More aggressive than the Adventure and not quiet as aggressive as the RallZ front tires. As for the flip, it felt horrible for 500 miles until it evened out and the leading edge became square again INSTEAD of like a ramp or ski slope. Squirrely off road after the flip... but it got better. Let me know what you think.
This is for this Monday coming up show for the adventure motoz tire, was self installing today and need advice. I'm using just the tools in my emergency bag and finally got it on, wow it a tough one... Question is, using a bike hand pump, due to the slow and time taking pumping I'm out of steam and no pop yet, check TP =45 pounds, is it going to pop the bead in or due to the slow roll, No? If No, how do I tell if it's set? Thanks Kyle can't wait to see Monday Adventure tire video PS. Tubeless/ with tubes
@@dsadventures6699 here is your peek at tomorrow’s release ;) Ep5 Motoz Tractionator GPS Review on this Motoz Monday ruclips.net/video/ueZXcDDBS_s/видео.html
Ok, so 100psi lots of soap and water and I still cant get the tire to set. No pop! Could it be a bad tire? The tires bead line look like 1/8 even all the way round. My friend said it could be just going on easy., but when I deflate it, it breaks the bead like butter, so is it set or not? Is it safe? Should I return it?
Kyle, I think I am pretty much ready to pull the trigger on a DV (Front) and RallZ (Rear) for my 2020 KTM 390 Adventure. I have the stock Rims (I know they are cast and not Spoked), should I get tubed or no tube?
Have you run any of these tires on 170-17 rear, 120-19 front bikes? I wondering if all the review data and thoughts translate... I have a Multistrada 950S that I ride 80 road, 20 off road only because I don't have a lot of opportunity for dirt around me. I'm currently running Scorpion Rally STR's, which are an exact match for my usage, but I have some challenge offroad trips coming up this summer fall, so I want a better tire. The thing is, I also like to ride pretty fast in the twisties. That's one thing I have a lot of around my parts. The GPS just really interest me because I don't think they are going to make a real difference offroad compared to my STR's. I'm tempted to just do a Rallz Rear and DV front. What are your thoughts for that bike and tire size? Thanks
I personally have not run the DV on the BMW / Ducati rim sizes. I will have feedback for you on that next month as I am mounting up a set this weekend. That being said, I just did the Revzilla Get On ADV fest and talked with several GS riders who said they are great!
I just got the Tractionator Adventure. They used 4oz to balance the tire. I took it out and was horribly bouncing. I got it re balanced, this time 4.75oz. It was fine for about 30 miles and started bouncing again. It is re balanced but i am afraid i may have just got a bad tire. Of the 5 motorcycles i have, the dealership has never mis balanced a tire. The bike i put the Adventure on is a ‘22 Africa Twin AS with less than 900 miles. Would i have to deal with Motoz or the company I bought the tire from? I really think i just got a bad tire
Bummer! I would recommend dismounting the tire, rotating it... and remounting. That might fix it. If not the shop you purchased from will work with Motoz.
I have a Tenere 700, and did not completely wear the Michelin Anakee Wild that I have in front. If I’d have this new reversible Motoz up front, would it be thinkable to just flip my front wheel when my tire would start cupping? Having two front disks, I wonder if my wheel is completely symmetrical. Thanks Kyle!!!
NO.... You can not just reverse your wheel! 1st: your brakes are bed-in and are side specific. One disc has the ABS ring and one does not. You will need to remove the tire and remount. You are welcome ;)
@@manybikes Thanks Kyle, reply much appreciated. I now have one. FYI: my Vstrom went where a tracked 360 JCB was struggling on mud. That's not to say I found it easy. Conditions resembled the Somme. But the bike went up the hill. Just.
@@manybikes Thanks! I am really looking forward to seeing your follow up on this tire. I’m wondering if the knob spacing is too tight and if the lack of knob offset is much hinderance off-road. Visually I’m trying to decide if it’s between GPS and Adventure, or Adventure and RALLZ. I’ve been running the AX41 and really like it, other than tread-wear and front feel in some off-road conditions I can’t fault it. Since they aren’t expensive, and I mount my own tires they do seem hard to beat.
I have not experienced the wobble with this tire that I do with the RallZ and the Desesert HT. Now... you can ride past that 75 mph and here is how you do it: ruclips.net/video/aqdPmDtDCvM/видео.html
Hey Kyle, Great video as always, Would you say this Motoz DV for the front and the Conti TKC 70 Rocks for the rear on my Tiger 800 would make a good combo? Also, do you know when the Motoz DV will be released as it's not showing on their website here in Australia yet? Keep up the great work.
Yes, absolutely! I am actually going to pull the DV off the front of the 950, reverse it and mount it on the 1190 with a new TKC 70 Rocks in the rear. That will happen next week so I will let you know how it goes! Should be AMAZING. Mid-September the DV will arrive here in the USA is what I have been told. Now Australia... I would imagine they would have them first... but who knows!
When is it gonna be available? pricing? wear comparing to TKC80? Handling? Capping? Edge grip? Is it a perfect companion for Mitas E-07 (non-plus) Dakar?
To me this seems inadequate to pair it with a RallZ, but awesome with a GPS or Adventure. BTW, I never see the Adv Mark II front, do they still offer it? Thanks
It's now on my 1190 and I can say it is NOT a RallZ level front tire. I think it sits squarely between the RallZ and the ADV. More aggressive than the Adv but less than the RallZ. The Mark II was the "patch" for the original Adv front that had issues... Once they 1. sorted out the Adv front tire issues and #2 made the RallZ front tire there was no need for the Mark II tire. Now look at the Tubeless Desert HT front it looks familiar!
@@manybikes cool, I didn’t realize they fixed the Adventure front. The last time I had one those big center blocks cupped so bad that I actually took a utility knife and chopped the fronts down and then split them all left to right with my tire groover! Maybe I’d try it again but this new tire looks intriguing…

Hi Kyle! Thanks for this! Now I’m going to run this front with an Rallz rear!
That’s what I’ve got on the 950 and I’m really liking it!
Motoz is really putting out some interesting tires. When my TKC-80 tires wear out I'm giving them a try.
Right on! I think this tire is in answer to the guys running TKC80's up front... Come back to the fold Motoz says ;)
This tire will be a game changer for sure. At 2,000 miles that tire looked great also!
Right! Your DRZ tire would cost $106 but would last forever AND you can FLIP it and it will be like new!
These Motoz tyres are the BOMB. Cheers.
I love them... I am happy you do too!
THANK YOU VERY INTERESTING
Yes Sir!
Nice! I think you just introduced me to my new front tire to compliment the Adventure rear.
Great to hear! I am pretty impressed with it thus far... 2k mile in... hopefully 4 to 5k more!
wow looks great!
It is working well, that is for sure!
Went ahead and pre-ordered, I think this is just what I was looking for putting it on my V-Strom 1000XT. Going to pair it with a Motoz Tractionator Adventure in the rear. Hopefully they will get decent mileage and do well in the Florida sand.
I think you will be pleased with the results David.
I absolutely love this tire, I have 1800 miles on it now and it still looks like new. I've been in the smokey mountains on paved roads wet and dry, gravel mountain roads, as well as a lot of Florida sand. They run smooth and have tons of traction in all situations. Absolutely amazing!
@@DavidParisoe Hey David, how's the tire performing so far? Thanks.
The crazy Monsoon rain here in Arizona has been awesomely WET this year! Lot's of wet rides and wet bikes in the driveway.

We desperately need some of that rain not necessarily right where I am but the state in general , I need that sunshine .
Congrats on having a TY250 in your stable. It was my favorite woods bike. Wish I still had mine :0)
I love it! So... you were playing "I Spy" in the garage eh? Yes, that TY250 is SO fun! I bought it in San Francisco, loaded it onto a trailer behind my Goldwing... towed to Donner for an AHRMA Trials Event - Rode my FIRST EVER Trials competition, placed... the bike vibrated SO bad on decel... 3 of the 4 motor mounts were broken off! Nice. I think Motoz hit a home run with these. ;)
I think so too... And it is solid. Different than the others in all the right places.
I love my Rallz H/T tires, but I hate the head shake it causes on the front end on the highway. I am super excited to check this tire out and see if it can solve my problems but still give me good bite in the dirt.
I have been liking it with zero if the previously felt wobble. I think it’s a winner.
Hi Kyle,
I'm loving your adventure tyre reviews, and in particular those for the new Motoz Tractionator Rallz and Dual Venture combo, which sounds perfect for my Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro.
I have not been on steep declines in soft terrain yet... that could be problemsome. Sand thus far has not been an issue.
I ran tractionators adv, the rear is great the front cupped and was generally unstable at speed was glad to remove it, it was done in a few thousand miles. I kept the rear hoping to find a better front for road riding, it looks like it might have arrived. I hope.
Yes, this new tire is pretty good! Like an “updated” TKC80 ;)
What did you end up going with up front? I want the DV but I’m worried about 80mph wobble
Kyle, These are the tires I really want for my TW200 front and rear. Good road and great off in all conditions. Would be perfect.
For sure!
Hi Kyle is the dual AV tyre better than the rallz tyre always enjoy watching your videos thank you
100% better than the Rallz.

@@owenlushadv I think its a good combo especially for the pavement and the TCK80 front seems to be wearing very slow.

Awesome job Kyle one again? How's the lateral grip and noise compared to the Rallz? Cheers!
Thanks! Great question. I have not had it on many side hills yet but have gotten this question many times thus far. I will check it out. When I do the DV review I will compare it to the RallZ, the Adv, the Desert H/T and to the tire it was built to beat... the TKC80. Stay tuned!

Awesome review and great looing tire! For my Africa Twin, I should go with the tubeless 90/90-21 up front, correct?
That is correct! The tubeless with a tube is the best size for your AT!

The tread on the tire you had off the rim is different to the one one the bike. Same tread pattern but the knobs are further apart....?
Actually in this video you commented on, it’s the same tire and tread block spacing. Just looks different when worn. Not liking how the nobs don’t wrap as far around the side of the tire. Reminds me of the 21” TKC80 (vs the same TKC80 in 19” where the tread wraps around the side for more stability in loose terrain.
Great suggestion.

how does the street performance compare to the TKC 80 on road around 80 mph?
Which motoz would you recommend for a Crf300l, that does 50% road and 50% gravel?
RallZ Tube Type in the rear and the Tube Type Dual Venture up front.
@@manybikes Hello, I have the same motorcycle. How does the dual venture compare with the Desert HT in the front? On road and especially Off Road? Many people hate the Rallz in the front. But I want to put the Rallz in the rear. But I'm between the two previous tires in the front. Thank you.
Any idea on the weight of a 90-90 21 Tubeless Dual Venture?
I’ll have to throw them on the scale…
Great review! That looks like a game changer tire! Will they make it in a 17” size for my DRZ400 SM? I’m currently running the TKC80 on the front and the Anakee Adventure on the rear.
Probably not... but I will put in the request. I have requested a 17" front for EACH of their tires when they have been released. This on the front of my Duke instead of the TKC80 would be amazing!
Interesting tire but nothing fits R1250GS. Arrg.. Maybe this is a typo "Size: 120/90-19". I'd like to give this a try when my e10 wears out.
Oooops! Tire size fixed! 120/70B19 is the correct size that will fit your GS.

Wow, this looks pretty awesome. How is it in the sand, Kyle? How many miles could we expect out of it if we ride 60-street 40-dirt?
@@manybikes Thanks for the info and the response - appreciate all the great info you share on your channel.

Quick question please - will the new DV tire track in rain grooves for front end wobble or will the new different tread pattern eliminate the wobble? Thanks for all the great informative videos!

@@manybikes I've got the Dual Venture on my GS now...I put a review of it on your 3K video.

My friend said it could be just going on easy., but when I deflate it, it breaks the bead like butter, so is it set or not? Is it safe? Should I return it?

Tubeless will work great for you.
Is there an ABS ring on both sides?
NO.... You can not just reverse your wheel! 1st: your brakes are bed-in and are side specific. One disc has the ABS ring and one does not. You will need to remove the tire and remount. You are welcome ;)

@@spotthedogg yes, there was a chunking issue and the cupping issue. They charged the shape of the lug and the compound makeup of the tire.
Milage?
Well, this tire has just over 2k miles on it right now… we will see!
@@manybikes perfect. I need to try this!! I’ve been pairing my motoz rear with an AX41 front. Hopefully this is a good swap!
It is a solid swap. Especially with the ability to flip it... Mileage Muncher!
