    I used to live in Anthem, loved that Moto City was just down the block. Best shop in the valley in my opinion. Definitely miss you guys now that I moved back to the PNW.

    I'm running the MotoZ Adv. on the front of my 1290 SAR, thinking to change also in the rear when my Mitas E07+ is done

      Go for it! The Mitas E07+ is a super popular tire and having run it on the Africa Twin, R1200GS and my 1190 Adv R I have found the Motoz to handle better on the higher HP KTM. Just my findings... I really like the Motoz tires and the ADV is a perfect tire for the back side of your SAR.

    I ride a KTM 690R MY19 I found the Rallz sets the bar for all other ADV tyres and 98% agree as I normally run 20psi all round last set because of the lighter bike I ran an Enduro IT front and loved it but pretty much wore both tyres after 4K kms (2500m) boy I'd like to get 4000 miles next time I'll probably go for Rallz F-R Following your recommendation thanks for the great review Kyle Happy Trails mate cheers I'll definitely go up to 30psi and see how that goes but 20 seems hard to me 🤔

    I put a desert HD on a 650 Honda for a couple of dirt rides if you freeway trips start flattening Nobbies

      The Desert HT is the LOUDEST Adv tire out there…. It’s less stable on the highway than the RallZ in all aspects. But… off Road in sand and rocks the Desert HT is a tad more amazing than the RallZ

    Great stuff on the Motoz Tire line up. Just got back from the Big Horn Mountains and IDBDR running the Rallz - excellent tire. Going to hit the NEBDR in a few weeks. Question: Desert HT or Rallz for the NEBDR?

      Thanks! The IDBR is great. My favorite was the climb from Yellowpine to Bergdorf. The NEBDR is a bit more technical as the roads aren’t “perfect” like they are in ID ;) lots more sand! The Desert HT rear will give you a 10% advantage but the fronts are similar.

    Just brought me 890 ADV R in for TKC 80 recall, and went with the RallZ's. Impressed so far. Louder on the road of course, but anything to drown out the ugly sound of these 890s hahaha

    It's MotoZ Monday! Excellent video, and full of great information. I'm running the Motoz RallZ tire on my Tenere 700, and love them. The RallZ off-road performance is incredible, and they have helped me though situations that definitely exceeded my big bike skill level. At the same time I'm amazed how stable they perform on twisty roads, and how there's limited road noise. As suggested, I've been running my tires at 30psi for on and off-road, and they work great. I'm a RallZ believer!

      @@manybikes ...what do you think of setting the Adv. in the rear and the Rallz in the front?, find that the Adv. front is very noisy between 55 ~ 65 mph, is the Rallz front quieter?.
      I use 36 psi front & 40 rear when full loaded in the road (2018 1290 SAR)

      @@rodrigofabregas7756 The RallZ front will wear out 2x faster than the Adventure front. I don't notice my Adv front being noisy... and I don't with the Rallz either. Now that dang Desert HT! WOW!

      @@rodrigofabregas7756 Nope. The RallZ front will wear out at about 4k or 5k and the Adv rear is good for 7 or 8k most of the time... dependent of course on rider throttle wrist action, terrain and tire pressure.

    I get really strange wear on my lugs on the front RallZ. The lugs all wear with a tapered angle backwards.
    My dealership says it's normal for these tires.
    On my full dirt bike I'll usually get 2 rears for every front.
    Not on my 790 running RallZ. New front and back every 5000k.

      Yes, the wear is normal for these tires. Your dirt bike isn't doing near triple digits on the highway then breaking to stop at every intersection. The knobs are soft and tall and when you break they bend and the rear wears out. 5k from an ADV tire is better than average. TKC80's (the old go to) last like 1500 miles. Give and take I suppose.

    Kyle, great informative videos. You've sold me on Motoz tires. Was wanting the Rallz for my KTM 390 Adventure but when I went to order there was not a size listed for my front (100/90-19). Is it ok to match a Rallz rear (130/80-17) with another brand up front and if so what would be a good match? I primarily ride hard pack gravel Forest Service roads in North GA/TN with paved miles getting to/from the ride. Thanks

      Thanks for your support. There front that will work perfectly on your 390 AdV is the 110/80-19. The 110 will be 10mm wider than your OEM tire and will be a similar height. If you want exact sizes… go with the TKC80 up front.

      Yes, absolutely but it is all circumstantial. I run 30 psi MOST of the time in all terrains. Unless it gets "really sandy" or rocky for a long period of time ... then I will air down to the low 20's.

    Hi Kyle, thanks for all your great reviews.
    How about using these great tires on a little 250cc? The bike of choice is a Honda Crf250 rally. I need something thats going to track well off road and give me good wear on tarmac. I've been toying around with using these or a comb package, Pirelli Mt 21 front and Dunlop D606 out back. Any thoughts?

      Yes, absolutely! I do have lots of thoughts. The MT21 front tire was my Go To for a really long time before I found Motoz. It does track better than most of the Motoz fronts I have run on smaller bikes. On bigger bikes I have melted the center lugs off of D606 tires and they wear out MUCH quicker than the Motoz. If I had a CRF250 Rally I would run the Tube Type 90/90-21 Dual Venture front tire If I rode mostly 50/50 Dual Sport stuff OR if mostly in the dirt I would run the Tractionator Enduro ST 90/100-21Q Fatty front tire. In the rear I would run the RallZ tire in the 120/90-18 Tube Type. Wicked combos with amazing traction anywhere you want to go! That is my 2 cents...

    I have a set of RallZ on my Africa Twin. I replaced the front after about 5000 miles. It probably could have gone to 6000 miles, but I was preparing for a 3000 mile trip. The rear tire has about 9000 miles on it, and I estimate it will be good for another 5000 miles. I live in Western Washington, and I suspect the wet roads reduce wear on tires.

      @@mdadma7459 The impossible can happen! I got 5K on the rear OEM TKC 80 on my 890R........Its called traction control on gravel...............now Im making up for that by wheelieing and sliding the bike all over the place with a RALLZ on the back...........not expecting real high miles.

    These are now my go to dual sport tire on my FE501S. Only caveat is on that light of a bike tire pressure has to be drastically reduced. Running 10psi on and off road and it’s fantastic. At 15psi it is sketchy AF though.

    Hi Kyle! What would you put on a DRZ400S that does 75% farmer tracks, dirt roads, gravel in the north of Spain and 25% on road? Some of the comments here seem to think the Rallz are for a much heavier bike. I was also considering the Motoz Enduro I/T. If you have any specific recommendations I'll happily follow them. Fantastic channel!

    Hey Kyle! I'm a huge fan of your reviews. Most of the Motoz reviews you've done have been on heavier bikes. I'm thinking of getting a set of Rallzs for my Honda crf300l and Adventures for my KTM 390 Adventure. Will these tire work equally as well on lighter bikes. Any things I should consider? I'm assuming on a lighter bike I may get even better tread life than with a heavier bike but my main concern is performance both on and off road. Thanks.

      Go for it! The smaller lighter bikes have smaller tires and the tires are made to suit. The are lighter weight so the bike can turn them easily. Yes, lighter bikes with less horsepower these tires last a lot longer than on the big bikes that roost miles off of them.

    Was thinking of putting a Rallz on the rear (for better off road grip) and Adventure on the front (for better pavement manners) on my KTM 390 used for hard packed gravel fire roads and paved mountain twisties (about 50/50) in North GA. Do you think that's a good idea? BTW called Moto City and they said you weren't there any longer but deferred to you for advice on line.

      Yes, I do like the RallZ for the rear of your 390 Adv. I would recommend the Dual Venture front tire over the Adventure tire though

I’m interested to know how you think these compare to the Anakee Wilds (why you like these more) seeing as the Wilds beat them out in several of the categories in your 2020 tire shootout.       Well, the RallZ and the Wild are VERY similar but the many variables under which I tested the tires is what put the Motoz further down on the list. The front end wobble I got with the RallZ was not optimal and that knocked them down a bit... The Wild Front and the RallZ rear is one of the top 3 combos I have seen / tried. The RallZ rear eats a Wild rear though ;) The deepness of the tread and the distance between the blocks really give the RallZ a leg up. Thanks for watching!

      @@jdunwell Until something better comes along... the RallZ is my Rear tire, PERIOD. The front tires I would choose differently depending on where I was headed or what I was doing or what stock status looked like ;) AX41 is a TOP tire, the Anakee Wild, the Dual Venture and the TrailMax Mission.

    The issue I have is the with the ADV bikes power, I can smoke my Motaz Trac ADV tires all the way through 5th on the road, meaning do you want your emphasis on or off road, because those tires on road at a “Q” rated tire on a bike that can hit well above. Well this is the main issue. The rider must decide what they really want. Since the tire is as advertised.

      Well I have ridden this tire up over 150mph and have has it in the nastiest of muck… I don’t know of another tire that performs this good everywhere….

    Hi Kyle, thanks for you reviews about Motoz tires! You are doing excellent job👌I'm on T7 and still on stock Pirelli's tires. Having about 8K now and seems they will still last some time. I'm looking for some a bit more off-road use and hasitating about Motoz Tractionator GPS rear or Rallz rear and Dual Venture TL front or Adventure front. What do you suggest? I guess both are a bit better than the Pirelli's off road. What is better combination if you still have more Asphalt rides but if you get off-road you want have a better grip than Pirelli's?     Based on Kyles recommendation I bought a set of Rallz for my DR650 in May 2023. Best tire I’ve used on the Bush Pig in the dirt, but that front tire SUCKS on pavement! It starts howling at 35mph and doesn’t stop. At 70mph you can’t hear wind noise because of the noise coming off the from wheel. AND it doesn’t tract straight on pavement, follows every line or crease in the roadway, almost squirrelly. You’d think KYLE might have mentioned that in one of these video’s? Apparently Kyle makes videos for several different bike shops or tire retailers and makes $$ that way, well I fell for it. Now I hear the DV Dual Venture solves some of the road issues the front Rallz has so maybe the Rallz rear with DV front is the ticket, or maybe it’s just more marketing. Anyway, I’m not happy with the Rallz front tire as I drive too much pavement, maybe it will settle down as it wears-in but new it’s great in dirt & sucks on the road! Thanks Kyle..

      I too was not a huge fan of the RallZ front. I have mentioned the wiggle it has in my videos. I have videos on how to fix it when it happens too. The Dual Venture was made to eliminate those issues. The Bridgestone AX41 and Motoz RallZ are my two favorite tires. I have helped the other retailers build their Motoz businesses. I make no $$$ from their sales.

    Hey Kyle. I’m a new off-road rider. I currently have the TKC70 Rocks rear, but - thanks to your review - will go with the Rallz on the rear, next. I’m thinking of pairing with the Dual Venture front; alternatively, the TKC80 up front. Either way, it will be mainly on-road riding (70%), but really want off-road grip for the other 30%. Which of those matchups (Rallz/DV or Rallz/TKC80) would you recommend on a Tiger 900 GT? Or, would you suggest something else?

    Thanks so much for taking the time and sharing your valuable experience! Please Advise - What pressures you would recommend for a BMW 1250 GSA with Tractionator Rallz for On/Off @ 50% use? Factory is 36/42 but with the OEM Michelin Anakee Adventures I feel they are over-inflated/too hard for off road and I'm constantly loosing grip on gravel/mild mud. I have them @ 32/38 and they feel a bit more compliant. Thanks again!

      Yes Sir! Your R1250GSA is a fantastic machine! I do miss my BMW from time to time... We spend 90k miles together and it's like missing a good friend. I would run them at 32/32 to begin with. I typically run 30/30 but that does wear the tires out a bit quicker and my bike are a tad lighter than your GSA. Cheers!

      I run them at 30/30. On rare occasion I'll bump to 35/35 for long freeway schlogs like 1,000 miles. In the most radical terrain I might drop to 28/28. But to be honest, they run wonderfully on everything at 30/30. I went through my second full set at 30/30 for all roads and conditions on my 1200GSA. Set it and forget it.

      It should be noted max tire pressure on RallZ is stated on the sidewall at 35lbs. Not 42lb as BMW notes.

      @@manybikes front and rear weights would be ideal if you have them. It's a valuable datapoint for those who want minimum rotating mass, I'm converting my wheels to tubeless mainly to drop 4-5 lbs of tube mass, if tire selection will do the same that's a huge win.

    Hi kyle! Have to say it again. Went from Sweden to Norway for a weekend trip. Only on paved road . And they have crazy twistis. And THE motoz rallz stuck like glue!!! THE front took some beating, Hard breaking i think. But its Hard to think there is a better dualsport tire . It can do it all ! Waiting for episod 14 😉

      What's Up my fellow Sweed! I have got to get there to ride!!!! Yes, I get asked all the time "how they handle twisties" and when I tell them I have never outridden them and have pushed them HARD it is not believed... And so many times I get the same type of message back that you have left here. They are pretty amazing for a huge knobby tire. On pavement the front tire likes a little more pressure and the lugs will hold up a bit better ;) Ep14 is on the way!!! Thanks for watching and for your support.

    Hi Kyle. I appreciate your very comprehensive tire reviews. I decided to go with the RallZs for my Moto Guzzi V85TT. I love everything about them off pavement! So much traction and grip on all surfaces. On road… they are considerably noisier than the Michelin Anakee Adventurers they replaced. But I’m ok with that. It’s the front end wobble that I can’t get over. At 80-90 mph, it will wobble big time and at first it was really startling. I manage but don’t like it at all. Which tire do you recommend I replace the front RallZ with to stabilize the front at fast highway speeds? I’d prefer not to mix brands, so want to stick with a Motoz front. Thanks in advance!

      Yes Sir! That is why the Dual Venture tire was created! A more road worthy tire to pair with the Tractionator Adventure, Tractionator RallZ and the GPS. I have run 5 of them to date and they have been great. That is the best Motoz front. If you are willing to mix brands, the AX41 is an amazing front tire.

    I like your tire reviews but you really need to add information on mounting difficulty. I mount and balance all of my tires myself so that is a real concern. Plus on my tube style bikes I may need to pull a tube out in the middle of nowhere with shorter tire levers and no specialized bead breakers so mounting difficulty is a really important tire decision factor.

      Very great suggestion. I too mount and balance all of my own, by hand. Some are easier than others but it really comes down to technique. Trail side repairs are common… the Motion Pro Bead Pro are amazing! I’d prefer a tire that is a pain to mount but can be ridden flat vs a tire that “falls off the bead” once pressure is lost. There is a trade off.

    Matt at Adventure Design said you get paid from the manufactures. Matt said the Motoz design is 5 years old, and they've had to redesign the front tire due to vibration and noise complaints. Kyle are you steering us down the wrong path?

      I have used all of the tires. Adventure Designs sells a boatload of Motoz tires. I have never been paid a dime from any tire manufacturer. They have provided tires for me to test, but I have not been paid or coached. I ride them and give my personal feedback. My favorite Motoz Tire is the RallZ rear. I dislike the front tire on the pavement. The Dual Venture front tire was new last year and I have extensively tested it. It works really well. The Bridgestone AX41 is my #1favorite tire but it only lasts 2k miles. I can't afford that... I get 5k out of a RallZ rear and currently have 6k on my Dual Venture front. Watch the vids, read the comments and make your own decision.

    So I bought a set of Motoz RallyZ for my KTM 390 Adventure. I could only get a 110/80 B19(tubeless) and a 130/80-17(tube type). I am still running the stock tubeless cast rims. My plan was to have a set of tube type spoked wheels for these tires but KTM chose to discontinue that option. Will I have a problem running a bias tire in front and a radial in the rear? I was planning to use a tube in both wheels.

    Hey, Kyle, I'm in the market for some new tires for my GSA. You have me sold on the Motoz tires for sure, if you guys had the Adventure in 120×70 19 on hand, I would go with a pair of those. But, since you don't, would you recommend a pair of the Rallz, or a Rallz in front and an Adventure out back?
    Most of my time is spent on the pavement, and I do tend to have a heavy right hand. Thanks!

      I have ridden the Desert HT from SoCal to Moab (800 miles in 1 day) ro ride 4 200 mile dirt only days before riding back to SoCal... 3000 6 day trip. The Desert HT was 1/2 worn. Solid tire. BUT IT IS LOUD. REALLY LOUD!

    Stupid me, I listened to these reviews. And they are well done reviews...........I put on a Rallz and dang did it suck. 240.00 down the tubes........if you like a buzzing/howling/vibrating/loud tire on road get one of these...........at slow speeds the tire creeps all around on pavement. Even a short road ride is too far.

      Sounds like a horrible experience! I have run all of the ADV tires and the RallZ (rear tire only) is my favorite. The front tire was not pleasure-able for me either... but the new Dual Venture tire works really well.

    The stock Pirelli on my T7 is almost impossible to break down the bead on the trail. How is the RallZ tube type 140 compared to the tubeless 150 for on trail repair? And compared to the stock tire how are these?

      I’ve done three T7 roadside / trail side repairs 1 front and 2 rear and the Motion Pro Bead Pro breaker levers worked great every time. The Pirelli has a similar sidewall to the Motoz. The 150 Tubeless was the easiest as the bead is more robust to it doesn’t “flex back” like the more flexible beads / sidewalls.

      Yeah right! As you have seen here... I have jumped between the two on four different bikes... The RallZ is my "favorite tire" and really does it all. The Desert H/T is not as capable on the highway when pushed to its limits but off-road it is for sure at least 10% more productive off-road when at 1/2 of its life. Now... from 1/2 to 1/3 the RallZ is more effective off-road I think. I say you go for it!

      I try to push the limits where I can go off road (in Sweden it’s pretty much illegal)

    Hi Kyle. Great reviews!
    I bought a set of RallZ, front and rear, for my T7, and first ride I got pretty wicked speed wobble up front at only 100km/h (60mph). Any thoughts on that? You were cruising at 90mph in this video with no issue, and that, along with the off-road prowess, was a key element in my decision to buy these.

      Thanks for your feedback. Yes, the RallZ front tends to do that ... you can stiffen the rear preload to minimize it but here are my two tips: ruclips.net/video/aqdPmDtDCvM/видео.html The Dual Venture front tires have ZERO wobble. I can take them to 150 mph without issue.

While I mostly ride off-road, you still have to get there, and it is high speed highway riding to do so more often than not. I appreciate the tips!

      @@davewatson1727 with most of these tires the wobble is there … the Rallz front will cease to wobble when you get about 1k miles on it. Then it’s golden for 2k to 3k more!

      Ive never had any tire anywhere near as bad as a Rallz on the road, I took it off and sold it after 2 rides. Dunlop 606 is no problem.........Rallz was my mistake .

    Great video. Any thoughts on putting a 140/80/18 tubed rear on a 4” wide rear rim like the Tenere 700, or would you stick to the factory 150/70/18? The pricing and weight difference between the two is surprising.

I personally am running the "Tube Type" on my 950 and they are wearing out much faster than the Tubeless I had on previously. Yes, the Tube Type tires are lighter as they were made for "single seat" dual sport motorcycles like a 450 or 500cc "dirt bike" not the ADV bikes. I have run both sets on the T7 and I preferred the wider Tubeless versions as I found them easier to ride harder on the pavement twisties. Off-Road they were similar, but the Tube Type wore out quicker for me. I am curious to hear about your experience.

They both have their places in the space... and from what I can see about 1/3 of the users choose the Tube Type as they are thinner and lighter and 2/3rds choose the Tubeless as they "fit the rims" better.       I have heard the 140 is sometimes preferred for better off road performance on the Tenere 700 by some rather than the 150 section tyre but i'm not sure why. Ask serious off road riders. I've also heard the 140 section, being pulled a little wider to for the rim than the 150 gives a flatter profile which is not going to give good handling on twisty black top. Personally I like to go hard on the twisty black top so I will stick to 150 section tyres on my T7. Personal choice no doubt, i'm interested in how you find them, 140 verses 150.
      Also, Kyle Bradshaw, did you buy all the motoz tyres? I'm struggling to source them for my bike, and I live in Australia! Cheers. :) Great reviews by the way.

    My '22 CRF450RL has an 80x100x21 front and 100x100x18 rear. Motoz's website says "RallZ will be also available in range of Tube Type Adventure sizes for light weight adventure bikes" and I know John T Young runs them. Do you stock them in these sizes? Thanks.

      I’d recommend the 90/100-21 Enduro ST front and the 120/90-18 in the rear. This combo on lighter bike is amazing. Or the Dual Venture front 90/90-21 works too.

    Hey Kyle. I’m now running Motoz Tractionator tires on my KTM 890 Rally. Adventure rear tire and Rallz up front. Love the rear but feel the Rallz front keeps slipping. The KTM 890 Rally has narrower and tubed rims. Could this be a contributing factor?

      @@kylegomolka8598 I don’t hear noise from either of the Dual Venture front tires. Noise gets louder when any tire wears… as these are revere you can keep that from happening the entire tires life. On the KLR the tubeless will feel more stable.

Haven’t put them in yet but my question was about tire pressure: on a heavy GSA my Trailmax were at recommended 41/36 psi, you say you run the RallZ at 30 psi both front and rear… Baja bad roads and Baja sand off road… what do you think psi should be?     I wanted to get the Motoz ADV or even Rallz for my Africa Twin for the Fall riding season (thinking about riding either IDBDR or NEBDR 1st of Sept) but nobody has them to fit my bike any thoughts one a best 2nd pick? I do ride a fair amount of payment too and would like to get at least 4500mi out of a set.

      The RallZ is my "favorite tire" but the ADV is just a hair less dirt oriented and works better on the pavement and will get you the mileage you are seeking.       @@manybikes Awesome thank you for that, I really want the RallZ for the hardcore off road world traveling ADV rider that I am in my dreams, but based on the fact that 11mo of the year I am a weekend rider in Indiana mostly riding gravel or paved backroads with a little dirt farmer & river bottom roads and one of my hobbies is removing gravel from the road with my back tire I feel like the ADV would probably give me more bang for my buck, Most the time I run Shinko 705 which do good for the most part (705's + wet clay = dirt nap) but with hopefully a BDR trip in Sept I want a bit more off road bite. So I will probably lean toward the ADV but it may come down to which ever I can get first, Thanks again

      I have ridden them on many different motorcycles in those conditions. They are not a planted as the Karoo 4 in the wet but they hold their own. They are very predictable in all other areas.

    What would be your recommendation for an all-around pressure for a KLR 650 adventure with the smallest size of rallz (130-80-17) -(90-90-21)???

      I've got this combo ready to ship to you today if you want... 30 psi is what i'd run on the KLR most everywhere. Unless doing a day on the highway, then I'd take it up to 36 or 38 psi. If in the sand all day I'd drop it to the mid 20's.

    Are they even better than tkc 80 on twisties? Also, given the better offroad performance, how are rallz on twisties compared to Adventure? I'm just interested in performance, don't care about Adventure better mileage

      Go with the RallZ. Better than the TKC80 everywhere and they perform better than the Adventure in dirt and they are similar on pavement until it gets wet and then the RallZ is better.

    Kyle you put me onto the AX41 on my 850 GS last year on one of your videos and they are amazing on and off road and in the wet. I now have a Ktm 690 and looking at the Rallz are they comparable to the AX41 or should I be looking at another tire?

      Great to hear! The 690 is super fun! The RallZ is a great tire for the 690 and will last A Lot longer than the AX41. The RallZ performs better off-road than the AX41 and the AX41 "feels better" on road ... but they both handle really really good. I don't think you will be disappointed.

    Les plus grosses différences ressenties par rapport aux pneus d'origine routier :
    La KTM est beaucoup plus haute qu'à l'origine (améliorant considérablement la garde au sol),
    et il faut - sur route - impérativement garder ses distances par rapport au véhicule qui vous précède./...,
    car en cas de freinage d'URGENCE les distances de freinage pour stopper la moto sont allongées du fait qu'il s'agit de pneus crampons, mais aussi des plus agressifs du catalogue MotoZ en ce qui concerne les pneus pour Trail's de grosse cylindrée !

    13mm is more than half an inch. It’s definitely not 12/32.

    Why does Motoz call it RallZ? Why do you call it Rally? Is it the same tire? Is it the same tire as the Adventure?

      TomAteo Tomato... The RallZ is called Rally by Motoz. Just like their name... Motoz is pronounced MotAz in Aus and here many call them MotoZee ... Same Same The RallZ is much different than the Adventure, it is about 15% more aggressive in the dirt than the Adv and the Adv gets on average 2k more miles than the RallZ Both are Tractionators... as are the GPS and Desert HT.
