I have a saying on my vision board that says “what controls your mind controls your life”. A moto to live by, eliminate the spotlight effect and focus on yourself and your positivity and happiness. Thank you Nischa, there are definitely some of these books I will add to my reading list.
hello Nischa brilliant video full of good books, I would add the book Astro Money Alchemy in which the story goes much deeper into financial secrets and making money, once again Nischa brilliant video
The Psychology of Money by Morgan Housel is one of the best books I’ve ever read, personal finance or not. It’s the only book I would recommend to people out of the personal finance books I’ve read so far…
I read Rich Dad Poor Dad and what i find most annoying about him is that he equates "rich" to money while missing a lot more. Is good that he presents what beliefs around money can do and how people live by those beliefs. I would give his book a 3 star but I still think is worth reading. Think and Grow Rich is a really good book and it can definitely help you understand what to do to get "rich" and is a good foundation to manifesting, a deeper awareness into this book will reveal it's pitfall. I found those book can help you in your financial freedom journey, however, don't fall for the money will make you happy trap. The journey and what you learn is most suited for you and your growth. I do agree that we need to get educated on financial matters and do the best to set ourselves up for success. But don't forget some of this people are sales man and you be mindful what you believe. Your experience working with that information and what you learn will be most important. I do love reading financial self help books and take the things that are most beneficial to me and applicable in my life. Thank you for making the video.
If you haven't already, please do more book reviews on books that have impacted your outlook on life. Thank you for sharing! You give me such inspiration.
Love your channel, Nischa! Rich Dad, Poor Dad changed the way I look at money and the idea of wealth. Then The Four Hour Work Week led me to a place where I am about to leave the 9-to-5! It didn't happen over night (passive income is a bit of a misnomer!) but it's really worth the effort. Keep these excellent videos coming!
@@Cyrus0w because to get to a stage where the passive income is coming through the door takes an awful lot of work! Nothing passive about it. I think of it more like an investment. You put in the time and effort up front, and (hopefully) enjoy a return over the long term.

Another great video! Love the way you present your content. I have all all the books except the first and the last, and absolutely agree with you. I just finished ‘If you’re not first, you’re last’ by Grant Cardone. That book taught me a lot too, ‘Rich Dad’s guide to investing’, ‘Unshakeable’ by Tony Robbins, ‘The millionaire next door’ by Thomas J Stanley, ‘Atomic Habits’, and a few others. Books are a great way to supplement your financial learning journey. Again, enjoyed your video very much, hope there will be a part 2 with book recommendations 👍🏻
Yesterday I went to the bookstore and got me two of these books (they were out of stock on the rest of them). I could buy through amazon to get it cheaper but I wanted to go old fashioned way and get started with learning the mindset). Thank you.
One thing I feel isn't talked about enough is how our nervous system works with money. Most people live in a fear or scarcity mindset which feels so uncomfortable and things like "if I just made more" or "when I retire" phrases come up. Having recently secured a few passive streams of income (as you highlight) this has done amazing things for my nervous system and unleashed some creativity. I feel a sense of peace that has not been available before and more fun of course! Highlighting this would serve a lot of people. Thank you
Guys there is this wholesome book called "Money Cosmos", it is straight to the point and I am loving that about that book, you wont regret time you used to read that book.
Hey Nischa, thanks for the excellent content, I have ordered three of the books straight away. Would you consider doing a short run-through / summary of each book in a dedicated video, for key take-aways? Thanks!
Nischa, I am just letting your videos auto-play from one to the next to the next, because I like what you have to say, and also because I want to help increase your view hours on RUclips.
Hey 👋. Great Video 👍 quick Note: Im Not a native speaker, so I watch all Videos with subtitles. Maybe you shouldn‘t put words at the bottom where the subtitles are… they overline with eachother. Great content 👍😍
Thanks for great input! "Think and Grow Rich" and "The 4-Hour Work Week" are two of my main sources of inspiration. I would add "The Millionaire Next Door" (I know an intelligent woman like yourself has this book). Steady diet of quality reading = enlightenment.
How do you find a balance between wanting to make money to help find more freedom, but also meeting the desire to have purpose - is it possible to do something you deem to be valuable/important and make money?
From experience on my journey what I learnt is that hard work is pure sacrifices. It’s about what you have to let go to get ahead on the journey. So if is friends or habits or even family members if these don’t serve your purpose you have to let these emotional attachments go.
Another excellent book is: The Millionaire Next Door” by Thomas J Stanley and William D Danko. 1996. Just future-value the $$$ since this was published 27 years ago. The fundamentals of mindset are still valid.

Hi @RobertIanAlexander! Your comment reminded me of a podcast I listened to a couple weeks back. The guest speaker was a financial therapist named Lindsay Bryan-Podvin. She has a workbook called "The Financial Anxiety Solution: A Step-by-Step Workbook to Stop Worrying about Money, Take Control of Your Finances, and Live a Happier Life." Hopefully this workbook can help you out!
I would recomend positively geared. I wish i read it before we bought our house. I would have made a very different decision. Its for australia but the rules on property investing apply and how to use equity to finance buying other properties and just how effective a buyers agent is along with a good finacial team behind you. It was a huge lesson in how to get wealthy in property and im making that my current goal.
Hello Nischa, my name is Tommy I'm from Toronto Canada. I've seen three of your videos so far and they are all great especially about the books you've read! I personally would be interested in another video of other books you can recommend! Thank you.
To me, Think and Grow Rich makes a mre specific point than the general law of attraction. TAGR talks about your thoughts creating your reality not in terms of "magic", but in terms of cous and brain programming. It also takes away the fear that comes with "wrong thoughts", since it explains how the quality of thoughts are just going to determine your mindset and hence your chances of finding ways to reach your goals. I am not against the law of attraction, but I think it carries a bit too much anxiety and doesn't frame well what thoughts actually do to your brain.
Two of the books you have mentioned I have already collecting dust on my shelf I shameless say! I will defo read them in the coming months The 4-hour working week and Lean In 🤭

Ive read all those books except Lean In, and they were life changing for me, as well. If I could suggest, look up Buy Then Build by Walker Deibel. He chronicles his journey of buying a small business, and why buying businesses is the best opportunity out there right now to build wealth.
If people think 'Think and Grow Rich' Is too fluffy then try 'How to Raise Your Own Salary' also by Napoleon Hill. This covers the same material - and more - with much less of the Law of Attraction emphasis. I actually rate 'How....' as a better book overall.
Nischa - great video! I have a similar background, working full time in asset management while also building a rental portfolio on the side. For your Q&A video: How do you balance saving up money for your next property with investing in stocks or other asset classes? How much (if any) do you share with co workers about your side hustles? Do you think trying to grow multiple income streams together creates distractions and limits your ability to be the best in a single specific niche (e.g. real estate)?
Money makes my stomach hurt. My emotions have a mind of their own when it comes to money. One time my relationship broke up and I went out and bought a car! Then a few years later, I couldn't afford the payments so I gave up the car.
Do you have a book recommendation for capitalizing on a job in general? For example, I'm in a marketing job and would like to increase my income and impact.
Thank you for sharing this! I found your video very insightful and informative and I’m glad to see more women especially becoming financially aware and educational to the public.

Do you have any book recommendations for those wanting to learn the basics of investing? I also just found your channel. Feeling inspired already especially to "close the knowledge gap" for myself with regard to investing.
glad to hear you found value in reading the references you mentioned for handling personal finances ... however ... I'm not so sure all the reviews from the amazon links you provided are all raving and enthusiastic... without mentioning the information available for some of the authors ...
I just joined your channel recently and it is one of the few that I follow and look forward to on a regular basis. It’s great to share your own personal experiences and journey to financial freedom and keeping it real. You will find that the content on many channels doesn’t have much substance and is not practical. Thanks for your time and keep it up!
Rich dad poor dad doesnt like investing in the stock market. So, he recommends the other income builder which is Real Estate. He loves Debt and borrowing money because its tax free. Its not that easy. I live in NYC its almost impossible to buy a rental property. To have any positive Cash Flow you have a lot of cash on hand for a down payment.
My son of 13 has read 3 of these books you mentioned. I am getting him ready early. Also, "The simple path to wealth" is another good book he has read. I will also add him to my credit cards when he's 16 to give him 2 years of credit history when he is 18. You should talk about that as well in your videos. UK.

glad to hear you found value in reading the references you mentioned for handling personal finances ... however ... I'm not so sure all the reviews from the amazon links you provided are all raving and enthusiastic... without mentioning the information available for some of the authors ...
@Nischa its nice knowing you.
I just joined your channel recently and it is one of the few that I follow and look forward to on a regular basis. It’s great to share your own personal experiences and journey to financial freedom and keeping it real. You will find that the content on many channels doesn’t have much substance and is not practical. Thanks for your time and keep it up!
Muy buen trabajo, Nischa!

UK.
I'm in love. You are beautiful. Also thanks a lot for your financial advices!
I just found your channel. Great videos and really helpful and sage advice about mindset, conditioning and money. I'll be back - Thanks.
Thanks for your voice ❤️
