Famitracker - Megaman 10 - Farewell to Ballade (VRC6 Remix)

- Well, here's my attempt at remixing Ballade's Megaman 10 theme with the VRC6 chip. As with my remix of the Wily Machine, I kept the original channels the way they were and altered only the expansion module channels. I kept the harmony much simpler in this version, so let me know what you think.

yo carl good to hear from you, i had been tracking for about two years at this point actually so i'd say we're about on par with each other (i used to host my famitracker vids on my danooct1 channel before I made this entirely new one)

Is it me or did it take me literal YEARS of listening to both 8BitDanooct1 and watching Danooct1 (the malware reviewer) to realize they're the same person? Probably because I always misread it as Dancoot1 instead of Danooct1 (like October 1st). Either way, fucking AMAZING remix, it's so good and definitely way better than the original!

Can a person actually cry or feel emotionally hit by an 8 bit song? Because this one actually touches deep inside my heart, and I can't exactly explain why. Its melody gives a very triumphant feeling, like there's just something you've accomplished, but there will also be consequences. Also, I've never heard the original version on MM10.

I thought the original sounded good, but adding back tracks makes it even better.

how is it that your DPCM samples are totally audible in a vrc6 arrangement when your instruments hang out around A volume? I have to quiet everything else entirely (and genereally not use triangle at all) when i'm doing vrc6 if i want my DPCM samples to not get drowned out.
