If you're doing Wily 1/2, you gotta make sure you did it with VSTs in FL Studio using someone's MIDI as a base and completely disregard hardware limitations, not make it actually good. that's just silly

Sloppy GXSCC jobs, usually using stolen and uncredited MIDIs, get a lot more exposure than covers actually made and put effort into by talented musicians, making most people wrong in what they think to be NES accurate and is just disappointing overall.

In this case you have to really listen hard to hear the lower one, which is the primary melody. If it is a remix and you are experimenting in that sense it is fine, but seeing as the bass line is identical to the original I think first listeners don't expect it
