Im so happy for this video with the Chief. The Chief really helps with his presence.I visited the village in late May and was trying to get some understanding on how things worked. I did speak to someone and they were very nice and helpful. I want to somehow establish a small free health clinic primary health care which basically helps in preventing serious disease conditions by catching disease early and treating it or preventing the disease from even occurring .. Not sure exactly where I should start, but I want to do that in several areas of Ghana.

Give thanks to the Paramount Chief and Ekow for this video. I am hoping that this important information will enhance assurance of the Diasporians who purchased land at Asebu PAVC. I am also hoping that the plot owners will now start maintaining weeding of their land if they are not ready to build, although better yet , to see plot owners building their homes so that the community will start getting in shape to welcome us home. I hope that "Go black to Africa " (trouble maker of his own people) will see this video and learn that hearing two sides of a story will help him to use his language and tone of voice in a more appropriate positive manner as well as becoming sensitive to the needs of people looking like him so that whatever challenges we are experiencing, there will be a solution. Nothing had stopped me from building initially. Again, thanks for this information. 🙏 ❤

He has always been negative about Ghana/West Africa and faced a backlash once, he faked-tiptoed he way back and "bought some investment property in Ghana" just to pretend he didn't have anything against Ghana but can't help to not rubbish all the great things Aleta and every body else are doing in Asebu. To be afraid of an opinion, and to control, the right of free speech is more dangerous and destructive than a negative opinion. The way to combat unfounded rumors is with tangible productive success, I want to hear from every side, than it is incumbent upon me to research if a thing is good or bad. I'm a born and raised Detroiter, most people talk negative about my city...and make videos about how bad this and that is..But the facts are Detroit is a thriving beautiful city with some negative aspects...but nothing any worse than similar industrial midwestern American cities. But we dont argue nor get angry about the false outdated rumors, we say Come and See Detroit for yourself than decide . Ghana nor Detroit will never be destroyed by negative rumors provided Ghana and Detroit are doing good things in a productive way.

Great move by Nana to get our brothers and sisters taken out of Africa a place back in the motherland. You are all welcome to Ghana , it is your home and you belong here . Do not let a few negative people amongst us discourage you from moving back home if that is what you want to do . Ghana is not perfect or heaven , we have our own challenges as any other country on the planet . I am a real estate consultant and willing to give free consultation services to any of our brothers and sister who may need consultation regarding building their homes in Ghana . AFRICANS BOTH HOME AND ABROAD MUST UNITE AND SEE OURSELVES AS ONE !! WE WILL GET THERE !!

I think go black Africa made the video Nana was referring to. I have personally listened to that particular video and that guy really has a very sinister motive. He doesn't seem to be doing well in life and for that reason is so much consumed with negativity. Nana should not rest his oars. The idea itself is very encouraging. Government should also do its part by merely walking the talk. You can't encourage diasporans to come back home without putting measures in place to "accommodate them" .Thanks Nana for your good intentions and you can't be distracted in anyway!

I was sent GoBlack negative video as well. I was concerned about my plans to buy land in APAV to build a home and Bed&Breakfast facility there. The guy called it a scam and said the other half of family are in court about the land. I'm so happy to hear the chief speak clearly and transparent that all is well and moving forward as planned. I pray the government becomes more helpful with the infrastructure portion.

The chief has good intentions and I commend his good will, but the village needs infrastructure done. He shouldnt sell or give out land without the infrastructure in place else it will become a problem in the future. I doubt the 1200 dollars will be enough to do the roads, bring water to every plot and have the electricity at every plot. Also the village would need some green parks and common areas, these also have to be devrloped. Food for thought.

Actually it could still be done by the residents after forming a homeowners association. Even in America the subdivisions roads are maintained by the HOA as well as the landscaping of the subdivision, however every plot can have their own water well/borehole dug on their land. No need to be begging for a water bill.

Ekow there's one thing I disagree with the chief in offering the free lands to Nigerians, Cameroonians or any African on the African continent. The reason is that every African from the African continent know exactly where they come from, and can always go back to their hometowns unlike the descendants of enslaved Africans who needs the help to reconnect to their ancestral home. He should restrict the free land offer to only descendants of enslaved Africans who have interest in returning to Africa. Nigeria with their over 200 million population and the insecurity issues in the country will gobble up the lands if you let them. Let's not let that happen

    • @tvs9978

not every African on the continent knows exactly where they came from. most of us don't know anything of our lineage beyond our grandparents and lineage going further back is not known. there is no need to practice discrimination against Nigerians in this project. Also there are many Africans today who are descendants of returnees who came in the 1800s especially Sierra Leoneans and Liberians
