Obviously can't tell from your videos, but when you're flying up and down the neck, how much are you looking at your left hand and the fretboard? Or does muscle memory from all of your playing allow you to feel your way? I keep finding myself staring at my left hand and it makes me feel mechanical. Thanks!
ddrbin It kind of depends on what I'm playing. Pentatonic stuff I can play in my sleep. But if it's something different, I pay more attention to where I am on the fretboard. For Stray Cat Strut, I had to really think about it because that's not a scale that I play in very often. I don't have a clue what scale he used for that solo!
james what are you running your guitar through to get that sound? i got the sabbra cadabra pedal to get the sound and it does it but your sounding amazing here.

Practice in the dark, or imagine your playing to an audience maybe...
